So very sad to say that I have read all 11 books in the series. I have no more (boo hoo). Terri Farley has taught me so much about horse and in the Wild Horse Island series, so much about Hawaii. Darby is a really good role model for girls. She is by no means a person who does everything correct. She makes a lot of mistakes but her heart is always in the right place. Tyson is a boy from school, who is a bully. Could there be a reason for the way he acts? Sometimes, we need to look closer and see what is happening or has happened to the bully to make him act that way. Horses can also be misunderstood. Never give up on man or animal. There is always hope. That is the message I got out of this book (and series). Don't give up on yourself, other people, or the animals around you. LOVED LOVED LOVED this series. Thank you Terri Farley
