Good insight although a little out of date now. The world has moved on in the last 12 years.

This is an incredibly gorgeous book with seriously high production quality. Layout, illustrations, photos: all are beautiful. For someone interested in small-scale farming, this is an inspirational introduction, with quite a bit of useful information. I found its scope a little narrow and noticed a few factual errors that would warrant a little investigation, but overall, this was thoroughly enjoyable.
