This book was recommended to me by my father in law. It chronicles the life of my in-law’s ancestor that was best known for being a General at Gettysburg. I was also interested to find out that he was single-handedly responsible for creating the levee system for the Mississippi River, drafted routs for the Pacific Rail Road, and was the Commander of the Second Corps for the Southern Surrender.
