I really liked the idea of the book when I began reading it, and the beginning was interesting in terms of getting to know the characters. However, after the first third of the book or so, I really began to loose interest. I read this book over a period of months and was able to put it down and pick it back up without feeling like I needed to re-read it everytime which was helpful but also means that I wasn't really into the book very much. It's a light, easy read.
Probably should only have 2 and a half stars because while I really liked the idea behind the story, and the characters were engaging enough to keep me reading, the tone of the book was off and I am not exactly sure why. It meant i put the book down without a lot of regret when I had to and took a page or three to get back in to it when I would pick it up again.
I got this book at a used book store and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the (at least to me) unique concept and rather liked the ending. A couple of the characters, I was not too thrilled with however. But all in all, I had a great time with this book.
