In this, the third peer-reviewed issue of lambda nordica, we hone in on the timely question of queer methodologies in research and present revised contributions to the international conference on Feminist Methods at Stockholm University in February 2009. Guest editors Fanny Ambjörnsson, Pia Laskar, and Patrik Steorn from the Queer Seminar at the Centre for Gender Studies at Stockholm University have selected five articles that together address a wide range of concerns for scholars in the interdisciplinary field of queer/LGBT studies, including positionality in the research process, the nature of fieldwork and the concept of archives. Bringing fresh perspectives on central research concerns, this issue introduces Nordic scholarship to an international audience and offers pertinent insights for students, teachers, researchers, and others invested in queer/LGBT studies.
