Excellent manual for the advanced powerlifter. Mark's program involves mesocycle programming with daily and even set based dynamic changes to intensity and volume based on perceived exertion levels. Assumes basic familiarity with Louis Simmons' Westside Barbell program.
Doggcrapp style bodybuilders might also find this writing helpful until Børge Fagerli finishes his book.
Fantastic book. Unfortunately a bit outdated, but a great resource nevertheless, and Mike quite literally made history in Powerlifting and popularized autoregulation more than everyone else.
Wow, that was a gem! Must read for the intermediate lifter. Explains very well the how and the why of Autoregulation and how to tune your training with it. Written mainly for geared powerlifting but it is so well explained that you can adapt it to any strength training
