Undermining the reader's simple confidence in words, sound, and meaning (especially if the reader expects something like a Socratic dialogue) the authors interweave their experiences in the high tech field with their commitment to freeing language from its most stilted chains. These collaborations, begun in the 70s, take us through the 90s.
