Looking for a fresh new setting that blends many genres into a delicious shake of high fantasy, intrigue, steampunk, noir elements, intrigue, and moral ambiguity.

If you are worried about it being bogged down by 4e rules rest assured that this book is purely informational, giving one the foundation to run a campaign in the rich world that is Eberron. I read/studied the book so that I can adapt it to the 13th Age system and nothing in the book really prevented that, although I may run into some trouble in adapting the abilities of the dragon marked houses but those are not even in this book (they are in the Eberron's Player's Guide) but alas that is a tangent.

My one personal complaint is minor but I will mention it. The book is great for the foundation but there is nothing truly in depth, it is left up to interpretation. Obviously this was to allow flexibility and allowing for personal tastes and touches to color the already vibrant world.

Great campaign setting book!
