Really, really, really cheesy and I figured out the ending before the first two dozen pages. But I love Judy Collins and I'll read anything she writes. I just hope she doesn't write another novel.

Very different style for Judy Collins - mixture of romance and drama, which was expected. The unexpected was the poetic entries / main character’s “dreams”.

Love Judy Collins, but I think she is much better at song writing and singing than she is at creating characters and a plot for a mystery. I really didn't care for the dream chapters that are often placed between plot chapters. Some of the main character's reminiscences about her youth and childhood were engaging, though.

Some may call it trashy, but it's an entertaining rock 'n roll murder mystery about a bisexual rock journalist who's being stalked. Lots of sex. It would be an excellent beach read.
