Hareta, together with several of Sinnoh's Gym Leaders, launch their attack on Team Galactic's headquarters (after a short break for some lunch)! Things go wrong quickly, and one by one, Hareta's friends are captured.
Hareta pushes deeper into the enemy lair, only to come face-to-face with Mitsumi, who has now joined Team Galactic! The two friends and their Pokémon square off, while Cyrus gloats as his plan unfolds. Will Hareta and Mitsumi's friendship survive their battle?
The fourth book of this collection of manga is Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl Adventure!, Vol. 4. I have to admit, this one is my favourite so far. I really enjoyed the writing and diversity of scenes that were portrayed throughout this one without having everything felt so rushed. It was also so cool to see the features of such rare Pokemon, ones that you barely get to see in-game. Regigigas was such a cool addition to the series, and how they managed to tame and capture him was so interesting. The Mitsumi twist also had me on the edge of my seat. Did NOT see that one coming at all. Not only that, but my favourite subplot so far has to be this new Shaymin one. It was hilarious, absolutely hilarious. Hoping that Shaymin and the reporters make a reappearance later on in the series.
Of course it still has its usual qualms like its dependence and fixation on battles to the point where they get too drawn out. But for this manga, I can overlook it all.
Hareta is the boy with wild dreams. In this chapter, Hareta have to go through new pokemons. He was wondering around a snow place, that is the place where he met Candice, the snow-point city gym leader. He had a battle with three lengendary pokemons. The three pokemons were Registeel, Regirock and Regice. He battles with them and win Candice and his Riolu evolved to Lucario. Then he went into the temple where Regigigas sleeps. Candice woke the Regigigas and it suddenly attack her pokemons. Hareta fights with the pokemon and he won and captured Regigigas. Then, Hareta and Candice called the gym leaders and go on to fight team Galactic. Inside the building, Hareta fights with Mitsumi, his best friend.
Will Hareta win the fight? Will he stop the Team Galantic's plans?
Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl Adventure!, Volume 4 by Shigekatsu Ihara
Pros: I found the book very interesting funny and unique. Its similar but the at same time very different then the TV show. The main character Hareta has to overcome obstacles to save his friends. I like his determination even if he had to face his own comrades. It has many nice action scenes that are supported by the graphics.
Cons:Some characters were important at first but now have no real purpose At the end of the book there is a side story with the same characters in the main story possible to show the relationship between the characters. The side story was irrelevant to the story and was unnecessary because the main story showed enough details.
I highly recommend this book to anyone that plays or watches Pokemon. I also would would recommend this book to people that enjoy humor, action and suspense.
I seriously think that this manga was pretty cool the part that I enjoyed was when Hareta had to beat his best friend and ha Regigigas on his side because I thought that Hareta had the advantage until Mitsumi's Infernape came (because Infernape is my favorite Pokemon in the Sinnoh region). So it was more of a Topsy-turvy kind of battle but i really enjoyed the book.
Hareta faces off against gym leader Candice and comes in contact with the legendary Regigigas - but nothing can prepare him for the shocking reveal when he and the gym leaders storm the HQ of Team Galactic! Ihara brings more tension, shocking twists and turns in this exhilarating entry to a series sure to have fans begging for more! What could this new member of Team Galactic mean?!
