dnf, completely unbelievable on every level. there is no reason given in the book to explain why either of these people would want to spend any time with each other and nothing they say/do makes a bit of sense

I was looking for a quick read and this book filled the spot. It was cute Hallmark like story.
Alexandra was trying to sell here mothers diamonds to pay off her debt after her mother’s death. Instead of getting money she found a prince who made a deal with her.

I get it she is Carlisle's daughter. And also when and how did they fall in love? One second they weren't in love and the next they were. It's like there was a chapter missing.

Dua orang yang bertemu secara tidak sengaja dan memiliki perjanjian untuk menikah agar menyelesaikan masalah masing-masing. Kisah cinta yang manis, cukup membuat saya senyum-senyum sendiri. Novel ini menjadi penyegar yang sangat tepat.

Alexander Grigory bertemu dg Lucca Vittorio, pangeran Castelmare di House of savoy ketika heroine berniat menjual perhiasan ibunya utk menutupi utang alm ibunya yg mencapai 12 juta US$. Yg tdk diketahui oleh Heroine tsb kalo perhiasan ibunya adl replika yg hrgnya jauh dr prediksi pengacara klrga utk menutupi utang ibunya. Berakhir dg sikap histeris Alex, Lucca yg awalnya ada di ruang keamanan berinisiatif mengambil alih.
Dari sinilah ide utk menjadikan Alex sbg calon istri ideal bagi Lucca tercetus, krn disatu sisi Raja dari Castelmare sdg tdk sehat, posisi kekuasaan terancam& Lucca hrs menikah sblm dinobatkan mjd raja baru. Yg didapat Alex adl pelunasan dr utang Ibunya dan mewujudkan impian masa kclnya yaitu mjd dokter ahli bedah wajah.
Ada suprise bahwa Alex merupakan keturunan bangsawan Rusia, yaitu raja. Dengan pertemuan paman buyutnya, Alex diperkenalkan dg sepupunya&poto2 dr keturunan Grigory lainnya. Alex mengira hanya tinggal dia di dunia ini, krn dia anak tunggal. Ibunya telah tiada dan ayahnya juga telah lama meninggal sblm Alex genap berumur 1 thn.
Suka interaksi antara Alex dan Lucca, terkadang Alex keras kepala dg perintah2 Lucca yg menurutnya tdk masuk akal tp disatu sisi lansung mengiyakan disaat dia bisa melihat Lucca sdg tdk bisa diprovokasi. Walo di bagian ending agak2 aneh mengenai janji sofia dan Lucca yg membuat pertengkaran Alex dan pria itu jd besar sgt tdk masuk akal bagi gw.
Ada bagian2 lucu dlm novel ini, waktu Alex menyebutkan Carlo dkk sbg Salvatore atau tingkah konyol Lucca krn keakraban Tommaso dan Alex atau wkt mrk membeli bumbu utk piknik yg tdk jadi dilakukan.
Bagus kok ceritanya. Happy reading

I am a sucker for romance featuring royalty, and I think the premise of this story is the ultimate fairytale for ordinary girls.
A Royal Marriage Arrangement is essentially a Cinderella story in which life changes drastically for an ordinary girl, Alexandra Grigory, daughter of an American bombshell and a Russian businessman (ok, so maybe not so ordinary), when she almost literally walks into the arms of a real-life prince. While the trigger moment is very unlikely to happen in real life, it was entertaining to read.
What worked for me in this story was just how simple it was, and I enjoyed the way the hero and his family were portrayed as people rather than simply royalty, and this made them endearing – especially the prince’s sister whom I gather gets her own story! Did I mention they spoke Italian?
What didn’t particularly work for me was that the heroine seemed a little too perfect. As I sit here trying to pick out a flaw in her character, I can’t find any, which really doesn't make it easy to imagine myself in her shoes. The other thing is that the love at first sight premise could have been better (i.e. a little less fairytale-y). And I would have loved to experience their first night together.
If you’re looking for a sweet romance, a quick read, this may just do the trick. I enjoyed the story enough to check out the Book 2.

Já li algo parecido que era bem melhor.
Estou afim de novidade ou pelo menos uma nova perspectiva outro ângulo.
Às vezes acredito que algumas autoras acham que somos completamente idiotas, que não percebemos a falta de conteúdo ou não percebemos que a mesma ficou nos enrolando durante 183 páginas, me poupe!!!

Another marriage of convenience story but set in modern times which I found unusual. I enjoyed the book for a quick read but I felt it almost felt like a fantasy rather than a romance and would never really happen in real life. Maybe if they had not fallen in love so fast, I would have believed it more. The entire story takes place in less than a month's time.

I enjoyed reading about Alex and Lucca's story. It drew me in from the first page and I was sad when the book ended, but only because it was finished. She wanted to see her deceased mother's jewels to pay off her mother's debts and he was a prince that happened to own a diamond business.

This was a quick and easy read. I'm a sucker for a contemporary royal romance and I wasn't about to say no to this. It was a bonus that Lucca and Alex and their chemistry with each other was just so easy to read.
