Wrong place, wrong time. That’s what I tell myself when I witness an angel working with demons and rush to tell our leader of the treachery. There’s only one problem. He turns on me, declares me a traitor, and claims I stole something from them. He demands my head and I have no choice but to flee my realm for another.

I’m a warrior. Running was never in my plans but it’s the only way to survive in this deadly game of lies.

Get safe. Find the missing object. Prove my innocence.

Until the Crown Prince of Soleil, a demon and my mortal enemy, appears and declares he’s here to take me back.

Somehow, I convince the demon to help me. Maybe because he wants to see me fall, and if he keeps looking at me like that, I might just consider it. Dripping in sin, and temptation incarnate, it takes everything in me to focus on proving my innocence over the urge to teach the cocky demon a lesson.

But falling is starting to look like a good option.

However, the angels are still after me, and I’ll have to make a choice between the world I know, and the one that suddenly starts calling to my soul. I hope I’m strong enough for this fight. I hope I can hold out just a little bit longer.

The lies burn, but the truth will give us wings. . .

**BURN ME is a spicy standalone paranormal romance set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. Every book is a guaranteed happily ever after with a satisfying ending and no cliffhangers. Perfect for fans of Immortals After Dark, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and the Demonica series. **

Roux [FMC] + Vetris [MMC]

✔ Archangel Warrior h/ Demon Prince H
✔ Enemies to Lovers
✔ Fated Mates
✔ Both Experienced
✔ Violence
✔ No OP Drama/ No Cheating
✔ HEA with Epilogue

Thoughts:

► Oh man... Vetris was so annoying at the beginning of the book. But damn he became whipped pretty quickly. So, I forgot about his unbearable attitude. It did not bother me much. I loved how he had changed after meeting Roux.

► I hated their nicknames for each other. It was annoying AF!

► I loved Roux and Vetris's banters.

► The antics with hellhounds were hilarious 😂

► Stupid seraphim!

► Drunk Vetris! Every time I imagined his drunken blabbers, I could not stop laughing.

► I wish we got to see the couple with their children.

I was on edge thinking something might appear that I might not like. But fortunately, I really enjoyed it. Great character development, relationship development, world-building and writing style. Definitely recommend it to fantasy and romance lovers.

What a fabulous way to end a series. Vetris and Rouxs story was just as good as the rest of them and I’m sad that this is over.

This was bad. The whole premise of the orb didn't make any logical sense and the development of the romance between the two main characters was poorly done. It felt rushed and stretched out at the same time. Even when I dnfed the book, still felt like I was reading about strangers. Then the ultimate fight scene that decided to span chapters?? Why? I checked and saw I had six more chapters to go and I noped out of it. I won't spend a week slogging through this, sorry.

3.5⭐

Worldbuilding:
In this instalment, we're moving into the angel and demon realm (Celestia and Soleil) with a brief sojourn on Earth :)
All scenes and environments were well described, and we got enough information about the world and its important figures to follow the story without confusion. I think, however, I would have liked a bit more info here and there (about the other seraphim or the other princess/princes of Soleil, for example). There were also some (minor) inconsistencies throughout the book, but while it didn't matter much when reading, in hindsight, it feels like those were missed opportunities.

Character development:
Roux is an archangel in service of the seraphim. Her job is to patrol the wasteland and watch for the demons living in Soleil. However, she has always been a bit of a rebel instead of following all the rules. Nevertheless, she wants to do her best, and if that means going a bit further on her patrols or checking out weird noises, she will do it! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that makes her the perfect scapegoat for her superiors.
Roux is a badass angel, she can fight with the best of them, but she is also compassionate and giving. It was fun to read her story and see her come into her own and, yeah, become an even bigger badass angel :D
Vetris is this year's crown prince of Soleil. Which pretty much means lounging on his throne, being bored and partying if he can be bothered. When the request comes from Celestia for him to hunt an angel, well... if that doesn't get his blood pumping, nothing will.
We get to see more than Vetris' 'prince of hell' persona, we see the person (well... demon) within and how he moves and adapts to the curveball thrown by fate.
We touch briefly on other characters, but those stay well on the sideline with little information.

Pacing and flow:
I felt that the start was a bit too slow, and it could not keep my attention. But then again, the stage needed to be set. As soon as the pieces started moving, it felt much better, but the ending felt rushed (or maybe I'm just never happy 😅?).
There was a good balance between the action and all the talking.

The book:
The book was well written, with no (noticeable) errors. There are sexual scenes described (if that is important to you). I would give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️½ out of 5.
The book has 220 pages, spread over 40 chapters and is told from both Roux's and Vetris' points of view.

Final thoughts:
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, and I must admit, the first part was a bit of a struggle for me. So if you've maybe read a sample and are not convinced? Pick it up! It gets better :D

Vetris and Roux ♡

This is the 10th and final book in this season of Immortal Vices and Virtues world. I've enjoyed this series and world and I can't wait to read the next round with some returning authors and new ones. Burn Me didn't really follow a house so it didn't one hundred percent feel like it was part of the world but it was still a really good read 👍

Roux is an Archangel, though she is in the lower ranks and is often punished for going against orders, she often rebels wishing for the taste of more freedom than she's given. When she witnesses Angels and Demon together in what looks like a meeting she rushes to tell her superiors what she's witnessed. But instead they frame her for a crime she hasn't committed and lock her away. She manages to escape and seeks refuge on earth knowing they will come for her. What she didn't expect was that they'd send a demon after her, but not just any demon. A prince of hell. Vetris. Known for his tracking skills and growing bored of his duties he eagerly welcomed the distraction. Though Roux is unlike an angel he's ever met she's feisty yet kind in a very tempting way causing Vetris to have all types of urges he's not had before for angel except wanting to corrupt them and force them to fall. But with Roux he wants to protect her. She manages to convince him to help her clear her name and find the missing artifact she apparently stole but the more time they spend around each other the harder the have to fight the chemistry between them. But the more Roux uncovers the more the world she was raised in makes her question all she knows. How quickly her life changes when the only one she can trust is the very same being she was raised to believe her mortal enemy.

I Give this Book a 4-4.5/5 Star Rating

HEA(?): Yes
Relationship Type: MF
Heat: 3-3.5/5, Heat is very low, but sexual tension is High.
Romance: 4/5
Pacing: Mid
Drama & Suspense: 4.5/5, The action scenes were fantastic! And there’s a lot of suspense within this read, and it totally hits the spot if that’s what your wanting to read right now. And the World building was well done as well, it did take a bit to get into the book but once you get into the flow it’s well done.

Sooo I didn't like it. I tried. I really, really did. The beginning was a bit rough but I held on hoping it'd smooth out and get better but tbh it never did. The plot could have been soooo good but the execution...meh. I was bored. And frankly the MCs felt very juvenile and teenagery which was beyond weird considering their roles in life especially for the MMC as he was hundred of years old himself.

The clunky way the plot moved along was annoying. Particularly at the beginning having the FMC go on the run and find herself at the Circus in No Man's Land where for about three seconds we see her meet The Ringmaster and then in the next scene get woken up by the MMC who very easily tracked her down and then they immediately make a deal and leave. Well, that was entirely pointless! And tbh the lack of chemistry between the two MCs was just plain disappointing. It was embarrassingly forced especially once they realized they were mates.

Overall it felt very shallow to me and didn't make a lot of sense either in regards to the characters actions, thoughts or how they responded to the current issues in their world. More so it didn't fit at all with the way the other books in this series had depicted this world and it's characters imo.

Probably best to say this author isn't for me.

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you K.A. Knight and Kendra Moreno!

Burn Me is the tenth standalone book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world and tells the story of Roux and Vetris.

I know if I let him go now, I will lose him, and some part of me fears that more than I fear anything else.
More than I fear the war this will bring.
More than I fear losing myself in his fire.
More than I fear burning in hell.

I’ve been waiting to read the last book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world, and now I’m sad that it’s already the last book in the series. The Immortal Vices and Virtues world is such an amazing book series with Fantasy Romance books written by different authors and set in the same world. I really loved this series because you can read amazing books and discover new authors. The final book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series is Burn Me by K.A. Knight and Kendra Moreno, and it was such an amazing book! I’ve read two books by K.A. Knight, but Kendra Moreno is a new-to-me author. I really enjoyed their writing style and their characters, Roux and Vetris.

Burn Me is about Roux, an angel, and Vetris, a prince demon. When I first read that they were an angel and demon, I knew this book was going to be amazing! And I was right! Roux is such a lovely character, at first you think she’s really cute and good, but she is so much more. She’s fierce and I love her energy! I also really loved Vetris, he’s such a cutie. I’m so happy that Roux and Vetris got their happy ending and that their world has changed too! And the spice in this book was amazing…

Burn Me was another amazing book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world, and I didn’t expect anything else. All the books set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world are so good, and I’m sad that there will be no more books in this Immortal Vices and Virtues series. But luckily for me, there’s going to be another series set in this world! The series is called Her Monstrous Mates, and it will be Reverse Harem. I’m so looking forward to those books! I want to end my review by saying that I highly recommend the Immortal Vices and Virtues series and if you’re a lover of Fantasy Romance, then you should definitely pick up this series!

K.A. Knight and Kendra Moreno have joined the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe with their collaboration, Burn Me, the tenth book in the series. It's a steamy enemies-to-lovers romance that was too good to pass up.

Roux is an archangel, a warrior, but she was so naive at the beginning of this but she did have a little edge to her. She's a little bit of a rebel, not purposely but she doesn't think or fall into conformity like the other angels. Plus her sass game is real but somehow she's still the kindest person. My only real issue with her was in the beginning, she had this blind faith in the other angels when it was so obvious they don't deserve it. However, when things fall apart, Roux starts to realize the truth about her people and she's ready to fight back in any way she can.

Speaking of sass. Vetris is the crown prince of Soleil and his sass game is on point too. His boredom may be the reason he started tracking Roux but it turned into some far greater. I mean who else is gonna keep him on his toes. The sass, playful banter between the two is great stuff, Roux gave as good as she got. The couple needles each other, playfully and literally, trying to ruffle each other's feathers. Their relationship grows into something incredibly special, there is an undeniable attraction, banter, and mutual respect. They have one of the most precious relationships in the series, I love them together.

This book was filled with interesting characters. There are angels and demons, a colorful seer and a grumpy troll librarian and then there's the watcher. I don't know what she is or what her story is but I wanna know, I would love her story. Another character who caught my notice is Abraxos. The totally insane old-timer is actually insightful and has a traumatic past that holds a lot of answers to questions Roux and Vetris didn't even know they should be asking. Out of everyone, he's the one that breaks my heart.

Assumptions, assumptions. The story takes place on Celestia, Soleil, and Earth. Everyone assumes demons are bad and angels good but that's not the case in this story. The demons aren't so bad, sure they are a little rowdier and lively but they aren't bad in general. Heck, Soleil reminds me of any old town on Earth. Now the angels are the real monsters in this one. Some of the things that are mentioned in their previous acts, how a certain seraphim acts now, it's evil. Now I'm not pinning all the dirty deeds on the entire race but the leaders have things to ask forgiveness for. I loved the

Burn Me was a phenomenal angel/demon romance, I absolutely loved it with characters I connected to and the rich world-building. I have enjoyed Knight's work before, but Moreno is a first for me, I would love to check out more work from her. Burn Me wraps up the Immortal Vices and Virtues series but the good news is there's gonna be a second season and I am here for it.

Enjoyably Unique Characters, Rough Editing, & A World-balancing Romance Generate Mixed Feelings

After some deliberation, I am giving Burn Me a 3.5 star rating. Fantasy and paranormal romance are oft-read genres for me; however, I do not normally read angel-demon romance. And after reading this one, I have an abundance of mixed feelings. To start, I cannot decide if I loved this book or just tolerated it due to the novelty. But I will be rereading to clarify.

The pace is engaging. The world-building is well done, and I especially enjoyed going back through a portal to understand a world that readers had only visited in a previous book. I was worried that the main characters were going to be the expected caricatures, but I was pleasantly surprised with their depth and growth. They were great. The hate-attraction chemistry is fun in a snarky, flirty way; and I loved the cameos.

That said, this book could really use some additional editing/proofing. I was pulled from the story several times secondary to spelling issues, word choice, and even name errors. There was also some voice and tense confusion. The story is there, it just needs some polish.

Mixed feelings aside, I found this to be a quick, fun read.

👼Length: Novel

😈Genre: Paranormal romance – angels & demons – with elements of portal and urban fantasy

☯️POV: First person, dual – male and female main characters

👼Age: Adult

😈Warnings: Language, violence, and sexual content. Also, the heroine comes from a cult-like culture where “different” is bad, and there is brainwashing and manipulative control

☯️Spice: Fiery, with descriptive loving on page; there is also a lot of innuendo and sexual comments/talk

👼Violence: Battle-focused, more action and bloody descriptions than anything else

😈Editing: Needs some work, I noticed some spelling problems, word choice issues, name mix-ups, and voice confusion. This did not bother me enough to stop me from reading and enjoying.

☯️World: Post-supernatural-apocalypse Earth

👼Series: Immortal Vices and Virtues (interconnected standalones in a shared universe)

😈Tropes: Star-crossed, enemies to lovers; fated mates; seeking a relic; seeking balance

☯️Ending: Complete story – standalone

👼Reread? At least one more time 😉

Burn Me tells the tale of Roux, a slightly naive and disobedient, but pure-hearted, archangel warrior, and Vetris, the sexier-than-sin disillusioned crown prince of hell. This book swaps between their POVs 🙌.

It's hard not to love an FMC who is strong, sassy and selfless, and Roux is all that and more. And Vetris, ah Vetris, he's one of those MMCs that you can't help liking and rooting for, even though he's a demon.

The banter between Roux and Vetris is steamy and seductive, and you get the sense right from the moment they meet that fate has drawn them together, but they'll be damned if they won't try to resist the pull.

Towards the back of the book every chapter ended like the book could have stopped there, so rather than hooking me into turning the page to find out what happened next, I was more like 'oh, there's more'. But in saying that, I loved the ending and am so glad the book didn't end earlier than it did, as that ending was just perfect.

I found this book to be fast-paced, easy to read, and action-packed. I loved seeing Adora and the Ringmaster again (even if only breifly)...and I'm pretty sure Abraxos is also in an earlier Immortal Vices and Virtues book too, but he (and his house) seem different to last time.

Oh, and did I mention there are hellhounds? Well, there are, and I laughed so much when they found their new master. Smart puppies!

☆ I received an ARC of this book from the author, which in no way sways my honest opinion, as stated in this review ☆

🌻 Main Characters - Vetris & Roux
🌻 Enemies to Lovers
🌻 No cheating
🌻 Happy Ending
🌻 Trigger Warning ⚠️ : Erotic scenes (MF), Violence, and Murder
🌻 Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
🌻 Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

Roux is an archangel who started as a naive character. She was framed for stealing an important orb that kept Celestia (angel realm) and Soleil (demon realm) separated. She was arrested and about to be executed, but she managed to escape. (Thanks to her friend, Rosa. 🙌🏻) She went to Earth through a portal and took refuge in No Man's Circus. Unfortunately, she was tracked by the demon crown prince of Soleil, Vetris.

Vetris is a demon and the son of Asmodeus. He had been chosen to rule Soleil for a year so he was the crown prince. He was asked by Seraphim Rael of Celestia to find and bring Roux back to Celestia. Since Vetris was bored, he did track Roux. However, he planned to have fun with her first. 😏 (With consent, of course.) They fought when they met, but Roux managed to convince Vetris to help her find the orb and clear her name. And so, their journey began.

Anyway, their first intimate scene was quite intense! 😮 It took a while for them to do it, but it was worth the wait.

I also love Vetris's friend, Jezebel. She is a demon seer who is chill and hilarious. It was funny when she revealed Vetrix and Roux were mates. 😂

As always this is the latest in the #ImmortalVicesAndVirtues series and they’re all #Standalone so you can read them out of order but I do recommend reading them in order to catch the character crossovers and the little #EasterEgg hints

#TROPES
#paranormal
#Dystopian
#Romance

#Spice - 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I have high hopes for this book as K A Knight wrote #DenOfVipers and I bloody LOVED that book!

We’re with Roux and Vetris, I can’t remember if we’ve crossed paths with either of them before, Roux is in Celestia the arch angels home and Vetris is in the demonic realm Soleil.

Yay we see Adora again briefly and we’re fleetingly off to No Man’s Land Circus with the big bad ringmaster 🤤

This part has me cackling:

“I glance over to see a group of angels charging me. I drop into my fighting stance, but they don't even spare me a glance as they race past.
Abraxos sprints past me, chasing the running angels, his hoots filling the air. "Get back here, you fucking cowards. I want to taste your angelic blood."
Well, okay then.”

This was great, I really really enjoyed this one. Not sure if it’s the last in the IVV series but nonetheless it was bloody brilliant.

I loved the MCs, the story was so good, fast paced and I found the writing style flawless.

Love it!

Burn Me by KA Knight and Kendra Moreno is book ten and the final book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. Vetris, the Demon Prince bad boy, and Roux, a Warrior Archangel create unparallel chemistry with a slight Romeo/Juliet vibe. It's an enemy-to-lover and fated mates complex relationship. Roux is framed for something she didn't do. Takes refuge on earth. The bored and skilled tracker (also, prince of hell), Vetris, is charged with bringing in Roux by her superiors. Roux watches as everything she knows changes, and Vetris becomes a lover he never believe she could. Characters had growth and depth. I enjoyed the flirting, snarky banter, and attention. The world-building is good with multiple realms. The right amount of information without drawing out the story too much. Give it a chance, it'll hook you. Pace, A little slow to start, but I think it was setting up the story for all the action. Everything balanced well. The ending went fast and with a ton of action. This is a stand-alone for sure. A little sad it doesn't continue.

I loved this story
The ending - the last 3 or so chapters seemed kind of repetitive to me though. They kept saying kind of the same stuff not really going any where just being happy and living life and expressing their love and how the world has changed.
I liked the twist of the angel's being the bad guys. Normally its the other way where the angel will see good in a demon but this time is was the demon seeing the good in the angel and saying what an angel should be etc.
It was the angel's starting shit, causing chaos, and war - not the demons

I totally thought this story was going to go one way though
my prediction for the story was that - Manon - who can turn into anyone - would get jealous and cause the drama. I thought when they went back to Soleil she would trick the FMC by turning into the MMC and either have her see him screw someone else or turn her in to the angels..
When it went a completely different I was pleasantly surprised !
I really like how the story went.

This is the final book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. All books are stand alone set within a shared world. I do recommend reading all of them because they are all very different and so good. Each book is written by a different author(s) and gives the entire series a different point of view.

This story follows Roux, an Archangel and Vetris, a Prince of Hell. This story was such a great ending to a fantastic series. I love any book with angel/demons but this one was just a chef's kiss!. Both Vetris and Roux have been taught to hate each other. When Roux is set up for crime she didn't commit, She flees. Vetris is sent to bring her back. They discover not all is what it seems and they decide to work together.

Both Roux and Vetris are a favorite from this series. I loved their banter and sarcastic comments to each other. The dialog had me laughing and the story had me intrigued. Their insecurities gave this story a little bit of humanity and it really brought the story together. The end fight scene was incredible and written so well. I felt I was on the battlefield with Roux and Veritas. The Hellhounds...They were the best..."such good little boys"! Go pick up this finale. It is a spicy read that I fell in love with. My only complaint is that it was too short! Such a perfect ending to this series....OOOH.....I have a little secret for you. This is not the last you will see of this world. A new set of stories are coming your way that are really spicy! I cannot wait to read those as well. For now, this one gets 5 stars.

Roux is an angel from Celestia who is framed for stealing an important artifact, escapes to No Man’s Land where Vetris, a demon prince from Soleil, tracks her down for punishment. Roux embodies everything an angel should be, while Vetris is bored while completing his current ruling rotation and looking for a new challenge. This story only touches briefly into the main world in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series and can be read as a stand alone. Roux is fantastic and Vetris has a playful side that draws Roux out from her sheltered beliefs as she learns more about both Celestia and Soleil. This is a fun read as they get to know each other and learn about their connection to each other and their world. I love the hellhounds throughout the story – really fun addition! Overall, this is a great ending to this world and I’ve enjoyed reading every installment!

Love me some angels vs demons

I’ll start by saying I loved this book, the banter, the witty remarks and the chemistry between the two main characters is simply chefs kiss. While is did start out a bit slow compared to most of Knight’s works was it got going, it didn’t stop. There were moments I wanted to shake Roux out of her naivety but overall she truly grew on me as she grew herself. Vetris was simply yummy and so entertaining to me. They were perfect for each other in every way!

With all that being said, this was completely differently than Knights normal reads, it was might lighter but still just as good. I love all of knight’s books and this one didn’t disappoint. I’m now hooked of the world of this series and definitely plan to go back and read the rest.

I'm pretty sure this is the last book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series and what a way to go out with a bang. In this book, we move into an entirely different realm, that of the angels and demons and what a wild ride it is, and the world-building is excellent. Roux is an archangel whose job is patrolling the wastelands between the two realms and Vetris is the crowned Soleil prince bored with his life. After getting a request from Celestia to hunt a rogue angel, he's all for it.

I adored Roux, she's totally kick-butt and knows how to look after herself, even when she finds herself on the wrong end of the system within Celestia. I loved the whole story and the two lead characters we get to join the journey of. This was the perfect ending for a series that has kept my attention throughout ten books and I've loved every page I have read.

Burn Me was an epic ending to an amazing series of books in the immortal vices and virtues world. Although each of these stories were stand alone I wouldn't of read any of them without reading the other ones .
Who would of thought things could happen between a demon prince (Vetris)and a archangel (Roux) definitely not me, but when roux is charged with a crime she didn't commit and escapes to earth vetris is sent to find her but instead of bringing her back like he said he would he makes a deal with her to help her find the stolen item and clear her name.
The ending to this book was my favorite and I wish I could keep reading about these two as they were two of my favorites from the whole series.

I honestly loved this book! Can't believe it's book 10 of the Immortal Vices and Virtues! This book is about Roux who's an angel that is fleeing her home after being wrongly accused. While she's on the run, a Prince is the one who's been trusted to find her. Everything goes array when Vetris and Roux meet and are drawn toward each other.

It's not typical angels and demons, Roux is on a mission to find the stolen angel artifact, wanting to clear her name. Vetris, on the other hand, wants to keep her, and have her begging 😉. There is so much going on, they've got angels following behind them, a possible war on their hands, and danger.

Even if you haven't read the other stories in this interconnected world, you'll love this book!

A beautiful strong story

This is book ten and a beautiful story of re-joining two people. There are angels who live in the sky of Celestria (perhaps misspelled) and demons that live in the ground in Soleil. They used to get along but a war happened and now they are enemies. Well, due to an evil scheme and need of a scapegoat, one of the archangels has to go on the run. The seraphim of the angels asks the demon prince to find this angel and bring her back. Well the demon prince is bored and looking for some excitement, so he accepts this hunting. Imagine the surprise when the Prince finds out he is deeply attracted to the beautiful archangel. Their journey of love and peace begins there . . . . Read On!

This story is On Fire! Roux is a wrongly accused Angel, that flees her home. Vetris is a bored Prince that is enlisted to find her. Well nothing goes as planned. Roux an Vetris are drawn to each other and that is where everything take off! The way this story moves along, blew me away! Vetris and Roux are more alike than they want to admit, which made this a blast to read. The ending is so Amazing that there are no words or Spoilers. I LOVED this book!!! I highly recommend if you love Angels and Demons!!
I received an ARC and I am Leaving this Totally Honest Review because I Choose to and think that this story Is AMAZING!!!

Gah..... I swear the books in this "world" just seem to get better and better, I really loved this story. You will fall n love with Roux & Vetris. The mash up of Angels and Demons is fantastic. You learn that Vetris (demon prince) is getting bored in his current circumstances and meets Roux an angel who doesn't quite fit in with the other angles. She has issues with "falling in line". When the two meet sparks fly for one but not quite as quickly for the other. Watching their relationship blossom and mature was super exciting. Also, I need to add that the spicy scenes were hottttt!! I highly recommend reading this book!

Angels and demons as fated mates?

Yes!!

A little bit naughty tied into a little bit nice!
It starts off straight into action, though I feel a scene or two is missing from chapter 7 when suddenly Vetris is in Roux's room.
It's fast-paced and action-packed throughout the whole book.
It has steamy scenes and a little bit of gore (not in great detail, just in the fight scenes).
Both Katie and Kendra have packed a great deal into this standalone book! Would love to have seen more scenes from a few of the houses or more of the circus with a bit more of a cameo from some of the earlier characters.

Burn Me is the last book from the Immortal Virtues and Vices series and it ends it wit a bang. Anything from either of these two authors, I know is going to be good and Burn Me is no exception.

This one takes us into the world of angels and demons. Roux is an archangel and Vetris is the ruling crown prince of the demons. These two are perfect for each other. As they try to fight the inevitable attraction, the tension between explodes.

This story and the characters are just fantastic. I’m sad to see this series of standalones end. If you haven’t read any of these yet, definitely jump on this bandwagon. You won’t regret it.

Burn Me was such an amazing story. I felt like I couldn't put it down, and I fell in love with the characters right from the start. Roux, an archangel, gets framed for something she didn't do and meets up with Vertis, the demon prince of Soleil. There's instant chemistry right from the start, and I loved the little banter between them. There's this instant attraction, and both are trying really hard to resist, and when they finally do, boy, was it hot. But it's definitely not an easy ride, and there's an epic battle on the horizon and the fight to save both worlds, but throughout it all, it's a story of love and finding your not alone. And I'm so glad things turned out ok in the end.

Burn Me is the last book in the multi-author series, Immortal Vices and Virtues, Each book is a stand-a-lone but all in the same world, But i do suggest you read them in order of release.

Angles and Demons what is not to love! Roux (Archangel) and Vetris (Prince of Hell ) Both Races are taught to hate each other but was that all a lie? when Roux is framed for a crime against the Angels and she flees to Earth they ask the Prince of Hell to capture and bring her back but when he caught her it was her heart he caught in the end!

What and amazing ending to this amazing shared world!
