At long last, we get Drew and Audrey's story. This is the final book in the "Unleashed" series by Kylie Gilmore. Throughout the other books, we've gotten glimpses and hints about Drew and Audrey. But all is revealed in this final book. Drew is always watching out for Audrey. Audrey has been in love with Drew since she first met him. Drew is a retired Army Ranger who now runs a dojo, lives alone, loves sports and keeps Audrey at arm's length. Drew decides to "help" Audrey get her book published because she just keeps polishing it and polishing it. This book takes you on a series of snafus and comedy of errors. It's fun, fast paced and totally enjoyable. The chemistry and caring, the mishaps and miscommunications keep you reading. Highly recommend you read the entire series. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Finally, Aubrey and Drew’s love story in Loving: A Second Chance Romantic Comedy by Kylie Gilmore, the final book in her Unleashed Romance series, is an emotional yet romantic story as these two find the right path to get through their feelings, hurt, and PTSD, with the help of the town’s matchmaker.
Audrey Fox has had a crush on Drew Robinson, her best friend’s big brother, since she was six and he was eleven. Four years ago she opened her heart to Drew and he embarrassed her, and walked out. Every time Audrey thinks Drew finally sees her as a woman in love with him, she is sadly disappointed, embarrassed and devastated at his rejection. Now, Drew has asked Audrey to meet him, believing he will finally declare his love for her. Yet once again, Audrey is left alone, confused and without hope. Never again will she allow a man to hurt her. Retired Army Ranger Drew Robinson has had feelings for Audrey for years, always watching out for her, while believing he doesn't deserve her. He's done things he isn't proud of and lives with the nightmares almost daily. When Drew finally finds the courage to tell Audrey how he feels about her, he must first tell her what he did. Despite having had the best intentions, she may not forgive him for overstepping her wishes.
Ms. Gilmore wrote a wonderful and moving story filled with comedic blunders and errors that should definitely not be missed. She provided a tale where Audrey and Drew try to help each other, attempt to truly communicate, to watch "General Joan" get involved matchmaking, and for the chemistry between them finally spark to life, giving them a chance to finally obtain a real and forever love. Then there’s the epilogue which provides an update on all of the previous couples in the series and hints at the next series. I highly recommend Loving to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This is the last story in the Unleashed Romance series and is the story of Audrey and Drew. We have been keeping up with them and watching them try to figure things out for this entire series. I couldn't wait to see what would happen with these two!
It was so nice to finally be able to delve into their personalities and see what makes each of them - them! We see Drew attracted to Audrey but not thinking he's good enough for her and we learn in this book that he has some pretty significant PTSD to deal with that is also standing in his way.
We see Audrey STILL trying to capture Drew's attention but at the same time following her dreams of becoming a writer. While Drew frustrated me some in this story, the lengths he went to in order to help Audrey achieve her dream were seriously over the top - heart warming.
We see General/Cupid Joan who has become more and more important as the series has evolved and watching her transformation has been heart warming as well! I just loved her - what an inspiration she became!
Even though they both had some pretty significant communication issues to work through, they found a way to make things work, trust each other and find their HEA.
The ending of the story, and the series, was very well done! What a great series with some great cover photos of the men and their dogs! Can't wait to see what is coming up next!
Wow! Just WOW!! I have been reading this series from the beginning and every single one has pulled me into the story of these Summerdale friends more and more. The end of the epilogue will have you screaming for joy!
Audrey Fox and Drew Robinson finally get their HEA in this final book of Kylie Gilmore's Unleashed series.
Audrey has had a crush on Drew Robinson since she was six and he was eleven. Four years ago she bared her heart to Drew and he embarrassed her and walked out. Every time Audrey thinks Drew finally sees her as a woman in love with him she is sadly disappointed and left humiliated and devastated at his rejection. I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
I absolutely loved this book! Drew and Audrey finally have their story told. I’ve been somewhat patiently waiting for their story to be shared and loved every moment of it. I loved how Audrey went out of her way to subtly Drew in little ways to reintegrate into their community after combing back from war. He’s a successful businessman, who helped raised his siblings after his parents passed on and has always had a plan. He has been quietly struggling with his PTSD and didn’t want to acknowledge it existed. Drew has worked hard to hold himself together.
Audrey, I love her!! She was by Drew’s side through thick, and thin, and gave him the kick in the pants when he needed it. Audrey may come across as a quiet person but she is all heart: for Drew, for her community, and for the animal shelter. She’s no little mousy librarian that’s for sure!
I loved how these two came together and how they were silently supporting each other. I loved this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Finally! Drew and Audrey's Story - Amazing End to the Series...
First off - this book can be read as a standalone, but does conclude an amazing series of rom-coms that primarily take place in a small town with inter-woven characters and the whole series is wonderful. We have seen Drew and Audrey in previous books and she has had feelings for her best friends older brother since she was six years old, but he only saw her as a friend until now. It was fun watching them "try to help each other", try to actually communicate, to watch "General Joan" get involved matchmaking, and to see the sparks between them finally catch fire. The story was well written with dual POV and I couldn't put it down. I loved the epilogue that catches up with all of the couples in the series and hints at the next one.
I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I'm sure I've said this about all the books in this series, but this one won my heart! Audrey is the perfect fit for Drew, and you will fall in love with this couple! 5 loving stars for this one! So Audrey has crushed on Drew since she was young, he's always thought of her as his younger sisters friend. She's tried just about everything to get his attention to no avail. Drew's got a lot of baggage from his time in the service. He is attracted to Audrey, but he hasn't had a relationship since high school many years ago, so it doesn't come as easy to him. When he enlists the help of General Joan to work with him to get him the girl of his dreams, does the matchmaker have what it takes to make this happen? I loved this story so much! These characters wormed their way right into my heart! Don't miss out on this one!
ARC reader I’ve been waiting for Audrey and Drew’s story this entire book series.
Audrey has loved Drew since she was 6 years old and Drew was 11. She tried to move on and find someone who would return her feelings but that man doesn’t exist.
Drew always thought of Audrey as his younger sister’s friend. A kiddie crush. How could she love him when she didn’t really know him? Yet, somehow, all the letters she wrote to him while serving his country meant so much to him. Audrey has always been there for him. So sweet and adoring. He realizes he couldn’t imagine not having Audrey in his life. And more than just a friend.
Now, he needs to declare his feelings for her and hope she can love the man he is in actuality.
A good story although, it felt rushed at times, it had some swoon worthy scenes.
I have been waiting for Audrey and Drew's book through the whole series, and it is finally here! Audrey has been in love with Drew for years, even when she was trying to get over him. Drew has a complicated backstory that has kept him away from relationships. But he can't stay away from Audrey. They have been spending more time together, but nothing has really happened between them yet. That is all about to change because Drew has gone to General Joan for help. I enjoyed reading all the craziness as Audrey and Drew finally got on the same wavelength and faced the things that were keeping them apart. I also enjoyed that we got glimpses of the previous couples and a peek into Audrey and Drew's future.
Spectacular conclusion to a must read series!! The most anticipated love story between Drew and Audrey is finally here!! You will fall in love with Drew as you watch him deal with his PTSD and just try and navigate his relationship with Audrey!! Audrey has been in love with Drew forever but it has taken a long time for Drew to catch up!! Enjoy this ride as these two learn how to trust each other and make their relationship work!! Love catching up with the gang and having a final epilogue that wraps the series nicely!! Go grab this book and this series and fall in love with all these couples!! You will not be disappointed!!
Loving is book 10 in the Unleashed series, I was so excited for Drew and Audrey and I have to say I was not disappointed. Kylie has done it again with her wonderful writing and these great characters she really brought this story to life for me. Drew and Audrey have known one another since she was 6 with a huge crush on him and he was 11 putting up with his little sisters best friends. Now adults and friends without benefits not exactly Audreys dream but at least Drew is in her life, Drew knows Audrey is caring and loving, and he hopes it isn’t too late for love. This was just the start to a fun story, I absolutely loved this story and I highly recommend it.
I was so excited to read Loving and it was terrific. I loved Audrey and Drew’s love story, Audrey has had a crush on her best friend brother Drew since she was a young girl but he has seen her as his sister friend. Audrey gives up on Drew, then Drew get help from the General with a plan. This is a witty, entertaining romantic story with all of Audrey and Drew’s family and friends involved and rooting for them. Kylie Gilmore draws you into this story with wonderful interactions and great chemistry between the characters in the story. I highly recommend reading this story and the whole Unleashed series.
"Loving", is a romance, that was years in the making. If you have read the previous books in the, Unleashed Romance Series, then you have already met Audrey and Drew, and know that Audrey has been trying to get his attention for most of her life. The heat rolls off the page as emotions run high, and the love shines bright, as Drew faces the emotional challenges of PTSD, and having to live with his past. You don't want to miss this emotion fraught conclusion of the series.
This is the last book of the Unleashed Romance Series. The love story of Audrey and Drew has been in the oven throughout the whole series, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s so well written that I couldn’t put it down. The characters have depth and their insecurities, fears and bravery to overcome them are pretty relatable. We are also gifted with a many years after epilogue. I really love epilogues, so it was awesome!!
I couldn't wait to read Loving, I've wanted Drew and Audrey together since Fetching, Book 1. It didn't disappoint. It was nice to see inside Drew's mind, because even though he has been in every book this series I can't say I knew very much about him until this book. I like that throughout Loving we get a tidy up of all the previous characters, who has children and where they are working now. I'm sad this series has ended but I'm excited to see where Kylie Gilmore takes us next.

This is a beautiful romance that has been hinted at and hoped for all through the earlier books in this series. Audrey has been in love with Drew since she first met him when she was six years old. Drew is a returned veteran fighting his own demons and he doesn't think he is good enough for Audrey. They have issues to sort through but they eventually get their HEA.
Gilmore turns a heart of glass into an endearingly, unforgettable love story. With every misstep, heartache and kiss, Drew and Audrey take more than a little piece of the heart. Drowning in humor and emotion, Loving captures love at it's most beautiful and fragile moments. What starts out as unpredictable ends up being irresistible.
I so loved this story line, as both my husband and I are retired military and we understand PTSD and the trauma that our military members go through with it. We were both lucky enough not to have suffered through it ourselves. Having the dogs working with them is great!
Amazing story. This is Audrey and Drew’s story. It has all the feels from beginning to end. I absolutely loved their journey as they overcome their doubts and insecurities as they get their HEA. I loved the ending. It’s entertaining and heartwarming and not to be missed.
I really enjoyed this book. It wrapped everything up nicely, while sharing the appetite for the next series. I liked the way characters from other books keep showing up.
Drew & Audrey. We’ve been waiting through the whole series to dive into their story. The emotional baggage that Drew carries hinders his ability to discern his real feelings. Audrey has wanted to move on from her crush for so long without any success. I’m so glad they finally found their way to an HEA.
Highly entertaining sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling adventure filled with witty and engaging charters, laugh out loud moments, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. A fun and witty adventure from beginning to end.
