How long are you supposed to wait for someone to love you back before it becomes pathetic? Is it a couple of weeks? Or maybe a month? A year?

I’ve been standing in limbo waiting for my best friend's brother, Blue, to finally see me as more than just a good friend for what feels like since the beginning of time, (yes, I realize that is slightly dramatic, but let me have it!) and it’s getting pathetic.

I thought we had finally passed that blessed friend zone area of platonic purgatory, when we kissed in the hot-tub while playing truth or dare. It was the most amazing kiss of my entire life. I really thought that was our moment, you know? Wrong! He ignored me like I was the black plague coming back to life.

I waited like an idiot for him to realize that he should be with me, until I finally took the dang hint and moved on…ish, or at least I’m trying really hard to, with my boyfriend Roberto. He plays on the same baseball team as Blue, and it’s safe to say they don’t get along, but my friendship with Blue is back to normal… You know, except, for when he randomly kisses me in the kitchen without an excuse from a dare to do it. That isn’t normal.

Hey guys!

I'm Klaire Kelley, born and raised in one of the tiniest towns in East Texas that you could probably never find on a map even if you tried.

I've always loved all things romance and have a penchant for reading any romance novel I can possibly get my hands on when I'm not writing or working.

I have no children yet unless you count my spoiled dog which come to think of it, may be more high maintenance than an actual child is.

I’m so grateful for each and every person who has read my book, and I can’t wait to continue writing more books for y’all to read!

I absolutely loved Blue and Ivy in this story. I love how passionate, sweet, dramatic, overprotective and respectful Blue is in this story and the fact that he is so handsome is a big perk. I loved how strong, self-sufficient, determined, patient and loving Ivy is. The banter between Ivy and Blue is so comical, sweet, sexy hot, respectful, loving and hilarious. I loved hearing about all the others and reading the banter between the whole family and players. Blue was a bit dramatic at times but adorable and Ivy did have her second scare as the plot thickened. I loved the Long family and all their crazy, and the team as well as Violet, Chloe and Wilder. I also loved the commentary at the end between God and Jesus. I can't wait to read about Wilder and Violet next. I can't seem to get enough of the long family and their friends and families.

I wanted to like this one I really really did and parts of it I loved .. I seriously think the author needs to get some alpha and beta readers, a proof reader, and an editor …. The kidnapping thing has been OVERPLAYED. in one series of 4 books so far there have been 3 kidnappings. It’s overkill and the author needs to be more original and not copy the same pattern for every book. I enjoy the characters and some of the storylines but it’s just too far fetched to continue on with the patterns this author is choosing… it’s suppose to be a sports series not a mafia series. I hope she chooses a different route if she continues this series because if not she’s gonna tank her career before it gets going good.
