Who loves a delicious, hot, salty chippy?
Seagull mates SteveO, Stanley and Stacey do, but they're fed up with having to beg for them. And when the best chippy chef in the world moves in, they hatch the ultimate plan to score the chippy feast they’ve always dreamed of.
Inspired by the popular chippy-stealing characters in Sam Cotton's TikTok 'Ani-Mates' posts.
On a sunny Sydney wharf, outside the best chip shop in Australia, Stacey and Stanley watch enviously as all the human customers feed on as many hot salty chippies as they want.
Fed up with having to scab for scraps with all the other seagulls, they decide to seek out legendary chippy thief SteveO to help them plan the ultimate heist. . . to steal a whole parcel of chippies!
But they'll have to get past a giant, seagull-hating thug with a broom, deal with some bully bin chickens, and convince the World's Best Chippy Chaser to overcome his dark past and help them out . . . Will they ever pull off their great chippy jackpot dream?

Laugh out loud funny! I can imagine Sam’s voice for the characters! A lot of fun for any age. I now appreciate the seagull struggle for chippies a lot more. Love the ending!

I am a giant child at heart and I couldn’t help but fall in love with this book. Sam has enough cheeky humor to make this a fun time for kids and adults alike. It you enjoyed his TikTok’s and they kept you laughing during lockdown, pick this up asap!!

The library I got this from had it loaded as a picture, so I was surprised to find it was a graphic novel. It's pretty funny. Poor Steve-O sobbing in the bin. But the gulls wearing balaclavas is too funny. Enjoyed it!

a silly book written by a silly but extremely funny man. chippy chasers is great! i read it in only an hour or so the day i got it as i was so excited. i definitely recommend giving it a shot.

Absolutely hilarious and enjoyable read. I loved it! When the seagulls (“chippy chasers”) plot to outsmart Brock (“the best chippy chef in the world”) you know the plot twist is going to be interesting! Sam cotton absolutely nails the life of the seagull in Australia in this light-hearted, bogan Queensland humor. Written in a comic book style format, it’s easy to read and children love it. I hope there is a sequel! I love the jokes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stacey and Stanley wanted to get some chips, but they couldn’t get them because the owner of the chip van HATED seagulls. They found Steve-O, the greatest chip stealer in Sydney. They made the owner slip over in bird poo and they got to feast on chippies!
