Lawd Have Mercy!!!!!
I was seriously on the edge of my seat reading this. Kadafi shooting his wife Tana put him in a position to run into Makeda again after not seeing her for month's. Him finding out she was pregnant. Had him forcing himself into her life. Makeda was hurt and angry finding out he was married. Their union also lead Rhomyrin to run into Nandi again as well. Rhomyrin and Nandi are made for each other. Both of them are crazy and have zero filter. Noremi and Ezekiel seems to be the only couple that is halfway sane and without drama. I knew when Hank had Kadafi and Rhomyrin get rid of Judah and Pharaoh it was going to come back on them. Makeda has no idea how scandalous and how much of a snake her father Hank is. Rhomyrin attitude along with Hank trying to cover his tracks has Rhomyrin, Ezekiel, and Kadafi on Magnolia radar. Nothing good is going to come from this. Especially now since Rhomyrin has violated MJ. The way this ended. Kadafi and Rhomyrin got more problems since Makeda walked in on their conversation and realized it was because of them that her and Nandi suffered a tragic loss and her father being behind it

GREAT SERIES!!!
I’m really enjoying this series. I can’t wait to see how everything comes together. I hope Hank get dealt with soon. I’ve been waiting for that ending to come out. I can’t wait to read part 3. Great job as usual Miss Jazzie!!

I see why these men are how they are with women. After seeing how they were raised I definitely understand. They don’t wanna be like their father at all and I respect it wholeheartedly. Kadafi really is another type of crazy but I love it, he definitely rides for who he loves. Tana was a mere obligation & a protectee so he had to marry her but he never loved her. Imagine if he loved her & she’d betrayed him? That would’ve awaken a whole other monster in him. Rhomyrin is a hot head that definitely ain’t got it all & he’ll fly off the handle without a moment’s notice. Ez is definitely the calm before the storm I would hate to see the havoc he’ll wreak if pushed the wrong way. All of these men embody something different that make Makeda,Nandi and Noremi love them. Hank is foul for his role in Judah & Pharaoh’s demises bc not only does he have another thorough dude on his hands with Kadafi but he & Makeda love one another and have created a child out of that love. Sarah & Jade are definitely cut from two different cloths & I understand why Sarah is the wife. I’m surprised they agreed to Abraham’s lil throuple in the first place then he offered up Kadafi in order to somewhat keep his place at the table in the Gangsta Disciples. If that ain’t screwed up idk what is smh. This book kept me hooked from beginning to end. At least the ladies know what they’re up against now only time will tell if they get what they want in the end. Tana hurt I get it but to go after Makeda is foul she didn’t make Kadafi get her pregnant & a man gonna be a man regardless. You wild for that cliffhanger boo. Great job can’t wait to read part 3👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

It's A Shame People Don't Take Accountability For Their Own Actions!
Jazzie, Jazzie man you always have my mouth on the floor with your cliffhangers. Its such a dang gone shame that some people won't own up to their own mess, because they may have some power they think they are untouchable. Hank played a dangerous game but what he thought he would get ended up not being in his favor.
I love the loyalty between the girls and the brothers. What happens has made these folk actually look into themselves, deal with their past so they can be better in the future. Secrets have came out was it a set up or was it just things that had to happen? Kadafi , Rhomyrin and Ezekiel ,have so much stuff that's eating away inside of them from their childhood, they don't know how to do anything that wasn't toxic.
Meeting Nandi, Makeda and Noremi have the guys actually wanting to learn how to love correctly. The guys dad is such a dweeb he doesn't know how to be a real man, father or friend. He throws the rock then hides his hands. The life Abrahim had his sons in had them so messed up mentally, and suffering from his messed up choices.
Now, Abrahim and Hank has opened up a chain of actions that may cost more than they really thought about. As toxic as the guys are each brother is a perfect fit for the girls. I want everyone to come out better than they started, I really want to see each couple, make it. Most importantly, I want each person get their karma. Lord, my head already got bald spots🤗 Great Read

Miss Jazzie aka Petty Betty done did it to me again. She has written twelve books of straight fire and I'm here for as many more that she brings. I love me some Magnolia and I hope he thinks everything through before he goes after Kadafi. Yes he's crazy but Kadafi and Rho is just as crazy and if he's listening to Hank then he starting an unnecessary war before he knows the fact. But being my baby is a Boss he probably already knows what's the deal. I don't know who Tana think she playing with but she better pray that bullet didn't hit Makeda. She already a dead woman regardless. I love Rho and Nandi together. I think she's just as crazy as Rho cause she definitely didn't have a problem putting his other mother Jade in her place. I can't wait to see how this fiasco Hank done concocted plays out.💜💜

A Must Read!!!!!🔥🔥
This definitely a 5 star read. I was captured from the first chapter and couldn't and didn't let up until the last page. It picked up right where the last book left off. The ending tho Part 3 me pleaseeeeee. Makeda was kind of selfish like why hide from Kadafi if he want to be in your and y’all son life? That was just wrong. I knew Hank had something up his selves. Magnolia so dumb instead of getting the real facts he go running with the lies he's been told. Rho was a hot headed but he be knowing what he be talking about. Ez is quiet crazy but he need to open his eyes more. Noremi was boring. Rho and Nandi so toxic they both are crazy. Tana need to find something safe to do, she just signed her own death certificate messing with Kadafi and coming for Makeda!

Baby listen when I say this book gave me life and I read it straight through with no interruptions!!!! Let me start with Makeda cause I mean I don’t even know it’s like I want her and Kadafi to be together but at the same time I don’t, but they done made a Kadafi Jr. so he definitely ain’t letting her go nowhere and hopefully his “wife” Tana don’t get herself killed or got her self killed for coming for Makeda! Her father on the other hand is a snake and hope he gets exactly what he deserved because he is not right at all. I know my girls Noremi and Nandi is cool, yeah Ezekial and Rhomyrin are a little touched but I know they would go through hell gates and back protecting they women. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next installment cause I already know it’s going down!!!!!

I love that this book portray successful black women. They have their own money, home, etc. Kadofi knew he wasn’t going to get rid of Tana that easily. Makeda need to grow up. I understand she was afraid of getting hurt, but the damage was done. Nandi and Rho are meant for each other. Hopefully they can get pass this information that just came to light. Noremi is the timid one out of the group, but I believe she’s going to get pushed and we are going to see another side. I love Ezekial. He’s so quiet, but at the same time they know it to mess with him. So many secrets exposed right at the end. Part 3 please hurry!

Whew, that cliffhanger. Tana definitely going die for showing up and pulling her gun because I think she was the one shot lol. She bust in the door and talked her trash but the guys was already on alert and Rho always ready to hold court in the streets so I think that was him letting his gun rip. Hank definitely a snake and don’t care about hurting Makeda but Kadafi, Ez, and Rho about to go to war with the Masons. Hopefully the guys don’t lose their women behind killing Judah and Pharoah, especially since Makeda dad ordered the hit. Damn Hank grimy

I’m so glad the cat is out the bag. I couldn’t take the suspense any longer. I didn’t like the fact these women laid up with these men and not know they were responsible for the murder of their husband. It’s crazy how they ended up with their husband’s killers. I feel a sudden kind of way about Tana because she’s really kind of innocent but everyone hates her because of the sins of her mother and Kadafi‘s father. I didn’t see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind for her since Kadafi didn’t want her, she was discreet

Baby when I tell you I did not see that coming I am truly in shock. I hope that Makeda was not hurt because that crazy trick Tana done lost her mind and is definitely going to die behind this stunt. Kadafi, Rho and Ez are about to be in a war against Magnolia and the Masons I hope they are able to call a truce and realize that Hank is the real enemy but we will see what happens in part 3!

I just hope Makeda can forgive Kadafi he only done what her father paid him to do. So she shouldn’t be mad at him that was all of Hank’s doing. Good BUT
The story is super dope. All the characters have these different but dope personalities that mesh so well together. My biggest issue is the author forgot her own story. She forgot about a significant event she wrote in book one and wrote about it again in book two and changed the event completely. The book is dope but o got stuck on that the entire time I was reading .

I tried
I tried to get into this series but I can’t. The flow was awful and unrealistic. So Rho just walks down the street with a rifle strapped to his back like it’s nothing? GTFOH! Kadafi got so many resources but couldn’t find his pregnant side piece and she was right there in NY? Book 1 was questionable so I read book 2 thinking I would get some clarity but NOPE! I wasted my time. Won’t be recommending or reading the rest of this series.

Wow! I read the first part and when I started this I was off
I didn't realize this was part of the other book. When I recognized the names I still didn't recognize until I was almost done with this one part of the story. I 'm still stuck like wow and I can't wait until book 3 to see what happens next but I feel sorry for Makeda cause she got the bad end all the way around now she got to dill with Tana trying to make things more than they are.

Disappointed…
Typically I love Miss Jazzie’s work, but this one… not so much. First, Makeda’s story was off. In book one Judah left everything to the baby mama…this book Makeda willing gave it to her. Secondly, how in so in love with a dude you just met and only been around once??? Hard to believe Nandie is so guarded (and everything she experienced in book one), but falls in love in the next paragraph…I gave it 3 ⭐️ on the strength of book 1…I’ll pass on book 3 👎🏾

Good read but yet waiting for another book
It's a good read but I'm over the drawn out stories. The book didn't start getting good until the 70-80% mark. Not to mention there will be ANOTHER book. I think it should he noted in the description of book one on Amazon if it's a series. Back in the day series use to be 2 books. Now series are 3, 4, and 5 books.. Oh and spinoffs. Ugh..

Still Fire but there was some differences from book one n book two. In book one Makeda states that she her mother left n never came back. Makeda was kicked out the house by ole girl but book two she talks about hating being in the house. Also Nandi's parents were out of there do to habits. Little confusing but so good that it didn't throw me off. I was still hooked n couldn't put it down. STILL A BANGER

It was ok....
I dont know what I feel about part 2 . I know im Tide of waiting on parts lol
I just feel like it wasn't enough close up . And now we're waiting again... I should have read the reviews to see if this was it . I would have waited. I do hope Makeda and khadofe ( what ever) get it right. Hank is foul and I hope she figure it out soon that her father not S××t!

I need to release the breath I was holding. That ending was not what I was expecting. I can’t stand Hank, and I pray he gets what’s coming to him tenfold. Tana baby….wrong move on your part is all I’m gonna say. Makeda it’s time to face reality where Hank is concerned.

I love how Rhomyrin and Nandi had each others backs. I also love how Nandi had Noremi had makeda back. when the guys try to used there D to get information on makeda. Kadafi is something else I hope makeda and kadafi work things out. Tana must want to die because she when after makeda. Hank is a low down dirty snake. I hope makeda is ok. Can't wait to read part 3
