Wyatt's shoulder injury might have been fixable, except that a messed-up surgery caused additional nerve damage. Now separated from the Navy he's looking for a job away from his family ranch. His parents while meaning well, are stifling him. A local boarding stable just may be his answer.

Kinsley owns a boarding stable that has a couple of barns. Horses that are boarded for clients and others for therapy and tourist rides. When Wyatt shows up at the stable to apply a mare is in labor. This particular mare has had a previous pregnancy that didn't end well. One of her workers Gerald shows up and sees the mare sweating and clearly in full labor. However, it's Wyatt who's ready and willing to step up and help.

Wyatt had more than secured the job with his actions and after witnessing the scene with the mare's owner Wyatt has a few things to say to the man. Wyatt knows Hunter Wagner from school, and it doesn't appear he's changed at all. Still the bully and using his money to do push his way around.

There's far more than meets the eye here though. Between Gerald who didn't want the manager job to Hunter whose mare is exhibiting new aggressive behaviors this book gets better with every page.

I love the suspense and intrigue as well as the romance and sizzle even as Wyatt and Kinley try not to take that fall.

I couldn’t believe everything that happened in Chapter One to set this story up. I felt for Wyatt with his injury and someone wanting to shut him up for trying to get answers and force him out of the Navy. I liked his initial meeting with Kinley and how he just jumped right in with what needed to be done with the horse and I also liked getting to know about his past and his parents owning a spread in Texas. Wyatt is definitely a good fit to help Kinley out especially when things start happening and someone is harassing her. I liked Wyatt using his skills he learned from his time in the Navy to not only help his dad and his ranch out but Kinley as well. I thought I had it figured out as to who was harassing Kinley until Wyatt and in turn Carol mentioned someone else as the culprit. I’m glad we learned what happened to the doctor that was less than professional and ended up ruining Wyatt’s career and interesting that Wyatt’s dad knew of the specifics of that. I appreciated how, in the end, Wyatt helped take are of a couple of matters and now Kinley can just worry about her business and see where things go with Wyatt. I’m really enjoying the detail that this author puts into her books. Another wonderful book!

Navy SEAL turned cowboy, again, Wyatt returns home and began working for Kinley’s business. She’s a tough young woman and can handle her own but when strange and aggressive situations come up in the barns it’s a good thing Wyatt was there. It took me a while to really like the characters, Wyatt is pretty simple to “get” but Kinley was a bit tougher to gauge. Their love story was of the slow moving variety, not wanting work to interfere, but it seemed a bit slower than normal. The book isn’t very long but I found myself reading some tough conversations, almost like reading a monologue because the conversations seemed one sided. The suspense took a long time to build up and kept me wondering when Wyatt’s special skills would be required. Still an enjoyable read just be patient with the storyline. I was the recipient of an early copy and have left this review voluntarily.

To new beginnings

Wyatt medically discharged from the Seal's because of a screw up of the surgeon, going back home to his parents ranch, Kinley has taken over her grandparents ranch, making changes, having therapy horses, boarding horses, it's like a family with her employees for her, things start going wrong after Wyatt working for her, he's great with the staff and even better with the horse's, can they figure out who is harassing her, who injured a baby calf, will their budding relationship survive, absolutely amazing story, thank you, Dana Zamora

Another winner from Teresa Reasor. I love her books because you never get cookie cutter storylines. You always get a unique story with characters that have depth...they aren't perfect, they have flaws and they endear themselves into your heart. Wyatt and Kinley are just the ticket. Both strong, both hurt in someway and both courageous when it comes to protecting others. Do yourself a favor and grab the latest offering from Ms. Reasor...a great read to get lost in.

When injury forces Wyaat Taylor, Navy seal, to retire, he heads back to Texas. Not wanting to work for the family ranch, he gets a job with neighboring horse trainer, Kinley Green. Someone is sabotaging her business and Wyaat brings his Seal skills to the rescue. It doesn't hurt that he is smokin hot!!!! I loved this story by Teresa and give it 5 stars.

Danger and romance. Laughter and tears. The best of her awesome Hot SEAL books.
Hot SEALS, Open Arms was so great that I didn’t want it to end. and once it did, I needed time to recover. I was absolutely breathless. I don’t think there is anything better I can say about a book. It is an experience I often suffer when I read one of Teresa Reasor’s SEALS novels no matter what series. A roller coaster ride of suspense and a vacation in paradise level romance. The sex is pretty hot but doesn’t overwhelm the plot.
Ms. Reasor takes us to a new venue with our hot hero accepting a job as a stable manager. Wyatt carries anger from the mess a doctor made of his arm, killing his career as a SEAL as well as leaving him physically less capable than he is used to. His background on the family ranch and his leadership skills developed in the SEALS makes him a great candidate for the job.
Kinley loves running her two stables, but with her equine therapy work and boarders as well as trail rides, she has her hands full. The moment those two meet, the chemistry would fill a lab.
This couple creates a team that can’t be beat, and they are going to need that combined strength!
I pre-ordered a copy of the book but could help asking for an ARC. Teresa Reasor kindly provided this one and I am so glad that I didn't have to wait for the release! I l ove all of her books so much and this one is no exception.
