Bambi Moore finds herself distracted from the humdrum demands of her work, as a sense of increased foreboding makes her ill at ease. As that feeling of unease becomes a premonition, her newfound doppelganger, Jasmine Clarke, puts herself at the mercy of dangerous men whose warnings leave her with more questions than answers. One of them, Alexander Sidirov, directly inserts himself in the complicated narrative started more than two decades ago, hoping to prove his loyalty as a high-ranking brigadier of the Bratva. Desire always opposes loyalty where power is concerned, but few can burden the accountability of the outcome—whether victim or villain. Navigating new threats and the tumultuous potential of their unique psychic link, can the two women buy enough time to retaliate against their unfamiliar enemy? Or will the trauma of unexpected consequences be the fire that tempers their resolve?
The girls finally seem to have mastered the link, though only to a small degree. There is hope for Bambi that Jasmine is only missing, but as emotions seem to be involved in the connection process it makes it difficult for them to connect. Looking forward to the next episode of this engaging series.
This series is all coming together, the sensory connection is strong but is it all too late. Well written story with great characters and a seriously exciting plot. I received this book for free and I wanted to leave an honest review.
