Christine Gael is the women's fiction writing alter-ego of USA Today Bestselling contemporary romance author, Christine Bell, and NYT Bestselling paranormal romance author, Chloe Cole.
I tried to stall my reading as much as I could, but Christine Gael has this knack of writing stories that gets me so hooked that stalling wasn’t on the menu.
From the treasure hunt started in the previous couple books to a mature love story, and the return to the Sullivan sisters and their children, the series is perfectly wrapped up.
This sentence from the book will stay with me: “The Sullivan sisters were made of stern stuff, to be sure. But what truly held them together was love. Their love for each other and for their families.”
Amen to that and thanks to Christine Gael for completing so brilliantly what she and Denise Grover Swank had started some years ago.
No stones are left unturned and no questions left unanswered and my heart broke a wee bit to say goodbye to some of my favorites in this series. While I am aware that some still pop up and interact in the Cherry Blossom Point series it was terrible to say goodbye to this one. Ms. Gael writes these beautiful characters that even though they go through life’s most heinous trials, they remain down to earth and family oriented even as their morality is tested often and tragically. I can honestly say these books are incredible and are family friendly and I absolutely recommend adding them to your library because you will be reading them often just to touch base with the friends you make here.
I highly recommend reading this entire series from the beginning. I promise that you will fall in love with the Sullivan sisters, their family, and all of their friends.
This book is the last in the series and I will admit to crying happy tears at the beautiful ending. I also feel as if I said goodbye to some best friends. This is a series that I will definitely revisit.
I highly recommend that you read all of the Bluebird Bay books.
Christine Gael does not disappoint. This is the last book in the Bluebird Bay series. I have loved every book starting with Book 1. Her characters are three sisters and their families. All of the books have happy endings, but they have all had to overcome some obstacles! Bluebird Bay depicts life I small town America. This last book even contains suspense and buried treasures. I have also read most of her Cherry Point series which brings a Sullivan sister into the mix. I look forward to her next books. I know it won't disappoint!
Bluebird Bay has become my home as I have read the series, and the Sullivan sisters and all they experienced made them "family" over time. So many changes and so many situations throughout the book and the author wrapped up with a great ending that brought all the main characters into a place where they had overcome so many obstacles. Certainly I could read on and on but I think I good author knows how to wrap up the links to a reasonable conclusion. She did this well, though I will miss them.
I am a sucker for a happy ending, and this latest installment of the trials of the Sullivan sisters hit the mark. While the story had several new characters, the mainstay of this series has always been the love and support these sisters demonstrate through good and bad times. I also enjoyed the growing extended family and their many adventures. A bit sad to think this is the last book in the Bluebird Bay Series…or maybe not!
If you’re looking to experience the beauty of a small town and the love and challenges of family, check out this series and visit with the Sullivan Sisters. Get to know CeCe and her children Gabe and Macy.
Get to know Stephanie and her crew and then there is Anna the youngest of the Sullivan Sisters.
I promise you will not want to put these books down and that you will feel like you are a part of their lives.
Christine Gael has become one of my favorite authors since I read a series shared with Denise Grover Swank years ago. She writes a genre that I don't usually read but I love her series. After several months of searching for a treasure Fallyn, David, and Gage make great progress and in the process they meet an interesting man. The fallout continues from Cee-Cee's ex and his involvement in a crime. So much is wrapped up in this book.
I read the entire twelve book series of Blueberry Bay within three weeks. A range of tragedies, happy occasions, relationships than begin with hesitancy and grow into forever after; it's all here as well as emotions that are relatable. I would recommend this series to everyone who likes adventure, romance, and u forgettable characters. Bravo to Christine Gael!
So good and well written, amazing story line thru this series of books. Some very sorry it's come c to an end. This has become my go to books. for they feel real.. But this is the last one so don't start here... start at the beginning of this series. You be glad you did. Get it, Read it Good Good Good!!!
Book 12 is the last book in the Bluebird Bay series. I enjoyed every book in this series. It is filled with interesting characters that are real and their experiences are real life -- good, bad, happy, and sad.
Great finale to the blue bird bay series. Truly enjoyed reading every book. I also loved the cherry blossom point ones too. Great author and a great ending to the series.
Christine Gael offers up the continued series into the lives, loves and drama with the good folks from the idyllic Bluebird Bay. A sweet beach read, well written. I would definitely recommend but do start at the beginning with book one
I really enjoyed this series. It was nice to read about more mature women and more down to earth characters. I don’t usually commit to buying all the books in a series but I was hooked on this one. Loved them all!
I have enjoyed the stories of each book. Lots of love, smiles, sadness & tears. Each person had there own story. I enjoyed the series. Each book kept you going. Thank you for excellent writing.
Be sure to read the whole series. I love it when characters from book 1 continue through the series as their story continues. New characters were introduced in a way that made sense. I really enjoyed getting to know the family. Next up Cherry Blossom Point series.
The first chapter is really funny. It’s very understated and very clever. I love this story It all ended up quite well with a few stumbles along the way and imagine the outcome.
Bluebird Bay wrapped up with intrigue and joy. Right back to Shelly what a sweet twist ~ full circle!!! Love these sisters and the generations, overlap, and the interwoven threads. What an awesome tapestry.
5 stars for Finding Closure (Blueberry Bay Book 12). What a wonderful ending to this series. I have loved getting to know these three sisters and their families.
I'm sad to see this series end but I have enjoyed every minute of the ride. Christine Gael is a phenomenal writer! I have read everything she has written and I swear she just keeps getting better and better! I loved everything about the characters in this book. She makes you feel like your part of the family. A must read!
