At first glance, biopunk might seem like a close cousin to cyberpunk as they deal with similar themes: the shortcomings of urban society, warnings against the government, and the gritty dystopic results of corruption stamping out human rights. But biopunk might take these themes a little farther.
Through the realistic lens of biotechnology, Biopunk takes misfit characters and drives them to rebel against the norms and laws of society.
