A introductory history and social textbook about feminism in Japan (of course the world as well), very easy to read. It simply summarizes author's experience and opinions. Easy for new entry.
The first wave of feminism is social-oriental, demanding equal social rights as defined by laws. The second wave is to liberate women as general combined with men. The third wave is younger generations seeking individual liberation. And the forth, perhaps we are entering already, is to diversity and inclusiveness.
In the end, it ends with "フェミニズムは弱者が弱者のままで尊重されることを求める思想です" which is simply but significantly highlighting author's thought.
