We have a pet lover in our family like the main character in the story. I liked how it had basic introduction to pet care and showed how there is work to having a pet and sometimes problems too. I liked that Jeff realized the part he played in why his sister was sad and helped her rebuild. He also learned his lesson to close the door so his hamster didn't roll out of the room again.
