Alpha and Omega

In a corrupt world only the strongest survive. Wanting to prove herself, Tasha decided to handle her dying Uncle's shipment route to help supplement their living expenses. As an Omega Tasha had a target on her back. Tasha was headstrong and stubborn thinking she could survive on her own in a new world full of Alphas both good and bad.

Alpha Bjorn was a natural protector and made it his business to steer clear of Omegas to prevent himself from going into Rut. Everything changed when he met Tasha. Recognizing her as his fated mate Bjorn took on the mantle of being her protector.

Sparks fly and the attraction was far to strong. Bjorn and Tasha were inseparable. Tasha worried about what she would do after losing her only family but fate already had everything worked out by not only giving her a provider and protector in this Corrupt Dystopian world but also her fated mate who would move heaven and h3ll for her.

Tasha has always tried to be strong in a world who only sees her as weak. She is independant, head strong and determined. So she decides to take on a shipment route in the hopes that it will bring in bit more money. She cannot escape her true nature though she tries to hide it as best as she can. The problem is that ultimately she is an Omega who is going up against Alpha's.
Bjorn is very happy with his lot in life and he has no intention whatsoever of being caught. He despises the fact that an Omega can send him into rut and make a protector out of him without his actually having a choice in it. That is until he scents his fated mate.
Tasha wants freedom but having a huge Alpha like Bjorn on her case is not what she had planned. Bjorn was not expecting that he would need to convince his Omega to be with him.

A small town is no place for a headstrong and independent omega like Tasha. A life of adventure on the open road and freedom calls to her, even if that means being alone for the rest of her life and hiding her true nature.

Bjorn was raised to take charge and be a protector, but loves his life as it is. Keeping his distance from omegas to avoid being “tricked” into settling down seems like a great plan… until he and Tasha meet.

At first sight she rocks his world and his senses… and he fills her with fear! How does he convince someone who values her freedom above all else to take a chance on him? And how does she trust in anyone when all she has had is herself?

This Uncaged series is such an exciting series to read. This book did not disappoint. More alpha male but with an omega that completely understands what she is and quickly learns her power over this alpha. I liked that Tasha was strong and prepared to care for herself and her uncle. Fortunately, she met Bjorn who was willing to come up beside her and be a partner, as well as, her protector. This was a fun book to read and had some more very interesting insight into this new group of alphas trying to take over. Of course, the uncaged alphas are not only dedicated to their mates but also delivery some serious sexy heat. The fire was hot here. Great story, sit back and enjoy.

I enjoyed the book. I really like how the society is built after the fall of the human race but there are still some modern things available such as vehicles. The society is basically based on trade. There's comparisons between good societies and bad. The chemistry between the female and male leads is sweet. It's not challenging when it comes to their relationship. It falls together. Tasha does run but she's got a good reason for it.

This story felt sort of outside the rest of the Uncaged tales. Bjorn was a complete surprise. I expected him to be much more....brutish, but he was sweet, strong, and endearing. This story felt different than the earlier Uncaged, but I can't quite put my finger on why. The coming together of the Alpha and Omega was less frenzied this time. Although the connect between the two is strong, the telling just didn't seem to be in the same category. That said, I love the Uncaged and their adventures. I can't wait to see where the next tale leads.

I received this book as an ARC copy and am freely giving my review.
This is not my normal type of book yet I was interested in trying something new.
How to articulate? Obviously written in the future where the world is no longer safe, being an omega can be pretty scary. When Tasha takes on her uncle's work to help them while he's ill, she discovers what a true alpha is like and finds her mate.
This world is dark and scary at times and the main characters have a nice appeal.
I would definitely read more from this author.

Tasha told her uncle she would go on his training round so she could get money to pay for his medication and for the house. She dressed In baggy clothes and a hat to hide her face. She stopped in the last village to trade and there she saw men watching her so quickly left. Bjorn followed and got in front. Then Tasha crashed into him and ended up in a ditch. There’s a storm coming and they gather there bags and head to a shack. Tasha realises that he is an Alpha and he can smell that she is an omega. They get together because Tasha is in pain and Bjorn says he can help her. After the storm Tasha leaves she left a note telling him why. When she gets home she finds her uncle is dead. Then Bjorn turns up. Im not going to spoil the rest only to say I enjoyed reading it. I received an ARC for an honest review which I have given

I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. Tasha and Bjorn is everything you are looking for in a couple and more. I cannot wait to see who the next couple is and where it is going to take us. I was on the edge of my seat throughout waiting to see what was going to happen to them.

This was a story of an alpha and an omega that was different than others as they are more kinder and less frenzied. It was an interesting story and the characters were interesting and intriguing in this journey together. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
