This one is pretty useful for meditating with a theme or with visualizations too, I would recommend maybe a little more explanation on how to meditate for beginners, however for more intermediate meditators this book would be a great tool.

Review: Moon Meditations by Jenna Calabro is a perfect way to begin the new year. Each day of the year (with the exception of Leap Day) is present and offers short meditative passages meant to help with self-reflection and a peaceful night's sleep. Lovely illustrations enhance the calming mood and encourages a meditative state of mind.

I’m big on fonts and presentation and really appreciate the lunar vibes and art in this book. The dedication and intro are spot on, and without being too moony, they’re downright spectacular,
I’m also a fan of the monthly themes. I’m a meditator, have been for years, but to keep my practice alive with more flow than ebb, I aim to keep learning different techniques and try to incorporate new ideas into my practice. Starting with January, the positive messages are inspiring and thought provoking ~ and therefore easy to implement as a nightly meditation. 🌙 Honestly I think this would make a great gift for someone that would like to start meditating but wants to approach it from a different angle, or really, anyone that could use a boost of self-care and . It can be brief or long, involve journaling, or not, it’s entirely up to the reader, and what a beautiful way to end the day!
I’ve read the daily messages — and also like how this book doesn’t expire. You can take the wisdom, the thoughtful reminders, and embody the practice year after year.
As a morning meditator I’m excited to take try this nighttime approach. Sure, I’ve journaled in the moonlight, but have I dedicated myself to a nightly meditation practice? I’ve always had a gratitude practice but I think this idea is well rounded and brilliant, and I look forward to giving it a go. After all… we are made of the same stuff as the Moon and Stars ✨
DNF. this is just not a tool I will be utilizing. I got this book in a mystery date with a witchy book. Will be gifting it to my mom though.
Something that irks me a bit about the book is that they don't actually go into detail on how to use this book with meditation. I found this incredibly frustrating. Because to me this isn't really even a book of affirmations to repeat to yourself while meditating. It has a quote at the top, something to make you feel good about yourself then there's a description underneath to give you something to think about, but no real guidance on how to use it with meditation.
Perhaps it's bc I don't meditate very often nowadays, but I found it hard to follow, plus I didn't bother to read it every day so I would feel behind and the need to play catch up.
I would recommend this book to people who have experience already with meditation and have the patience to turn to a book every single day.
Beautiful, calming artwork and design layout - perfect for the meditative and reflective atmosphere needed to enjoy the daily phrases and encouragement. I am not a typical user of these types of journals/books (thanks ADHD), BUT I always aspire to be one of those people who have a routine they follow and use daily guided prompts to enhance their life-
This would be a great gift for a friend, neighbor, coworker or family member.. (or even to treat yo' self- which ya gotta do, lets be honest!).
Each month is a different theme and each daily prompt is an ideal length and not overly wordy. I enjoyed the general message and then the direct-to-reader message. Sometimes we need that extra PUSH in a direction that we don't feel we 'owe' to ourselves.
I actually will be ordering this to kick off my 2023- for myself and for a few of my friends!
Jenna Calabro states that the art and messages, which she privides in this book were created between the hours of 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., because she believes that nighttime is when the veil between dimensions is the thinnest; thus, the portals between worlds open and we are more curious, receptive, and creative.
This book is designed with each month being designated a monthly theme. For example, the month of January is the month of Empowerment. The author then assign a specific topic for each day of the month that is pertinent to that month's theme.
Are you one of the many people who has trouble falling asleep? If the answer is yes, this book may be a title for you. There is an entry for every day of the year which has a theme for each month. Just some of these are January’s Empowerment, March’s Patience, August’s Trust, September’s Courage and, December;s Inner Peace. Each entry is short and offers something about which to think.
Recommended for those who enjoy devotional, spiritual or empowering titles.

The way that Jenna arranges the moon meditations in the book is by one per each day of the year! It has the date listed and the topic with a few sentences to meditate on. I could see the book being a great gift paired with crystals and a journal!
A meditation for each day of the year! How cool is that? The meditations themselves are very thoughtful and nurturing, and the illustrations and design of the book are very evocative of the moon. This would make a lovely gift for someone who struggles with taking time out to contemplate and rest, because each prompt is a short few sentences and can be interpreted in the reader's own way.
A beautiful collection of night time meditations. Each month has a theme, meaning if there was a particular area you wanted to focus on you could skip about as necessary. This book will work with any belief system which is great. The font used and the artwork is very aesthetically pleasing. A lovely book.
This is a spiritual evening meditation book which helps clear the mind before rest. You don't have to do it at night, but it would be a good idea. It generally puts good, relaxing thoughts in your head, which is also helpful when you're agitated for any reason. I would definitely get this book and use it.
