I enjoyed this book which was the third book in the Amish Love Blooms series. Daisy goes to deliver a casserole to a woman whose husband had recently died. While she is there she meets the woman’s youngest brother Bruno. It was love at first sight for Daisy and she began to spend time with Bruno. He was from Ohio and Daisy convinced him to stay in her town. Daisy‘s twin sister Lily was jealous of Bruno and in the next book she will find her husband. Lily was spending time with Nathaniel and also several other men.
Amish Daisy by Samantha Price is the third book in the Amish Love Blooms series. This book focuses on one of the twins, Daisy, and how she met the love of her life, Bruno, without her mudder’s help. I loved this story because of the family drama between the twins and also their mother’s meddling. The twins always said they would marry twin brothers and live together after they married. But the best laid plans of mice and men do not always come to fruition. I loved this 5-star book and highly recommend it to readers of Amish fiction.
Amish Daisy is the third book written by Samantha Price in her Amish Love Blooms series. In this book Daisy one of the twins is looking for Mr. Right. When Daisy is sent to deliver food to a recent widow she runs into a man she has never seen before. She just knows she is going to marry him. But what does he think?
Daisy is one of a pair of feisty twins and they had always said they would marry twin brothers. What happens when Lily learns of Daisy's discovery? Daisy and Lily have never been apart. Daisy is the quiet more calm of the two girls and I enjoyed her character a lot. Nancy, Daisy's mom worries that neither of the twins is mature enough to get married and when a young man from Daisy's past reenters the community Lily proves her mother right. This is where all the drama starts.
I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.
Congratulations to Samantha Price on writing another interesting story for her readers pleasure.
I marked this as spoiler for one reason: so I could write the fact that I’m really tired of Nathaniel. I was hoping he would stay gone after he left town in the 2nd book. I hope he won’t be around too much in the next books.
Ok, I might give away more spoilers as I continue, now that I think of it…
Anyway, this was also a good book in the series. As I’d commented in my review of Book 2, the sisters all seem to think they have to find a dream man or the “perfect” man, but fortunately they grow up a little by the time the books end. It seems that Daisy matured a lot quicker than her twin sister, Lily, which is possibly why she found the right man to marry before Lily did.
As always, I do enjoy the characters. Nancy is a good character. Even though she seems to meddle in her children’s lives, they seem to actually end up finding the right men without too much help from her. She means well anyway.
So, now I’m on to Book 4 …it is kind of becoming obvious that each one of the sisters and cousins will find Mr. Right by the end of their individual books, but the main thing is that the author does a great job of telling their stories to get to that point.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was an enjoyable, easy-to-read book. It is the first book that I have read from this author and was lucky enough to win this in a contest along with one other. Daisy and her twin have always done everything together. They even planned on marrying twins at the same time and they were committed to this until Daisy finds Bruno! And so will that plan work? Their mother is somewhat controlling and manipulative and so the twins often get into trouble when they aren't exactly following her orders. It's a fun read and I think you will enjoy it!
Daisy is a twin who with her sister Lily say they want to marry Twin brothers & live in a big house together but Daisy falls for Bruno & it how twins who are close struggle when one falls for someone while the other has not got anyone plus Bruno comes from Ohio & Lily thinks he wants to stay there
While the romance and conflicts were easy to spot, nearly predictable; the character development left a little to be desired. I truly loved the plot and the characters, however it was hard to truly immerse myself in the story when I didn’t find the characters believable. All in all, a rough romance but a good book none the less.
This is the third book of the Amish love blooms series. In this book Daisy, the next sister in line to be married is looking for the right man. Short, fast read.
Unlike the past two, the character development wasn’t very interesting. The feud between the sisters was predictable to say the least. A bit illogical too. I’m hoping the next doesn’t follow this pattern.
The book was very well written with a little suspense. One of the twins found a young man which grew into a romance. There was suspense with the other twin through the book.
I love Samantha Price.....books.....I can not wait to find out the next story. She writes good and clean stories that I can read with my ten year old granddaughter.. We enjoy her story together.
Nancy is anxious to get her daughters married. In this book she did not have to find a suitable match for Daisy as she found her own man to marry. There was a lot of interactions between Daisy and her twin Lily which made this book more interesting.
Will Daisy Yoder ever find love? When helping a widow in her community she falls for the widow's brother. Is it true love with Bruno? Will she be forced to move away from her family? I enjoyed the book.
Good characters good storyline daisy and Bruno are perfect for each other. They meet at Valaries house for the first time when daisy takes some food to Valarie after her husband passes.
I loved Daisy's love connection. It had an intriguing plot twist, and I couldn't stop reading. The twins are so close, but a love interest for one comes between them. I recommend this series to everyone.
Daisy and her twin sister Lily have promised each other they will marry twin brothers and all live in one big house. That is until Daisy meets Bruno The man of her dreams. Things are changing fast for the Yoder twins. A really good read I really enjoyed this book
