The past always has a way of messing with our future ...
As Titus Black grapples with one of the secrets from his past, one of the CIA’s best assassins has gone rogue, putting the world’s tenuous peace in jeopardy once he begins his assault on some of the world’s most well-known leaders. Black gets tapped for his most dangerous mission to date, hunting down the man responsible for putting the world on the brink of war.
Black must navigate the landmines of his past to preserve his standing within the Phoenix Foundation, all while trying to stop a relentless killer. But the clock is ticking and The Alliance seizes an opportunity to strengthen its position and put the U.S. intelligence agency on its back foot.
With no margin for error, Black faces his deadliest foe yet. And the consequences for failure will be catastrophic for not only himself but also the rest of the planet.

THE FIRST SIGNS that I might like writing -- and that I might be slightly competitive -- appeared when my year two (or first grade) teacher, Mrs. Holland, asked my class to write and illustrate our day. Mine read like this: “The Red team beat the Blue team, 1 to nil. And I won.” The next 47 entries covered my exploits on the soccer pitch while growing up in Ipswich, England.
In South Carolina as a teenager, my dad told me that I could get paid to watch sports provided I could write about it. Sounded easy enough and by the time I was 16, I landed a job at my town’s daily newspaper and had a column on Major League Baseball players from our area. I also covered my first riot there at a sporting event -- and it’s safe to say I was smitten with journalism.
After graduating from one of the best journalism schools in the country, I took a job as a sports editor in South Georgia and learned firsthand about the passion of high school sports in rural America. I thought I knew before, but I didn’t. This was another world.
I also had the opportunity to cover major sporting events like the Olympic Games, the World Series, the Super Bowl, and the Final Four. It was a thrill!
But nothing was as thrilling to me as uncovering the truth in investigative assignments. I once broke a story about a prominent southern football team’s NCAA violation -- and found out the violating coach had committed suicide only a few months earlier. The story won a national writing award and stoked my desire to write about these issues. It made me realize that the sports world was just another fantastic backdrop for drama.
After writing non-fiction books with athletes, for athletes, and ghost writing for many others, I decided to enter the world of fiction writing. It had been something I wanted to do but never found the time. So, I made the time--and had a blast in the process.
I’m not out to become the next Faulkner or Hemingway -- I’m just out to tell a good story. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them!
Of all the Titus Black thrillers, Codename Killshot is my favorite. Titus gets himself in trouble with just about everyone including Shields and whether he will come out of his messes adds and interesting wrinkle to the story separate from trying to save an Imam and Mecca as well as take down Killshot - an international assassin. Along the way the Fullgood Initiative people raise their heads as they seek to further their world dominating scheme. To say this is an action-packed story would be an understatement, it's filled with action from cover to cover. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and chose to provide my review.
a fast paced story i couldn’t put down on. Titus goes from hunted bad guy to savior as chases the real bad guys before they ca n start WW3. With shields by his side can he make it in ti e or has his luck finally run out. Love Titus. Such an action packed race to find out. Awesome read
By invitation he got inside the casino and all the high stake players. He looked over the room, an itch to play, something wrong was going on. Great series and plot with mystery and suspense. Well done and enjoyed Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
An excellent Titus Black thriller with a well written storyline and a great cast of characters. Plenty of action with Titus and Shield doing their best to protect the US. Highly recommended book and series. Will the Fullgood group ever be taken down
Titus once again draws you in and makes a fantastic story. Kill shot is a dangerous assassin and will keep Titus busy. There’s no stepping away from this book if you tried. Full of suspense, twists and turns. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the next.
Titus is tasked with finding an assassin who is killing world environmental leaders. Along the way he is cornered by an old flame, a Chinese spy. Working with her proves difficult, but he eventually wins the battle (and the war?) to return safely to the US. ENJOY!
This was another fantastic story, and a great addition to this terrific series. It's not a series to be missed. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
