The man who loves "Yeena Yoon" the most in the world, "Gunho Yoo." The girl who's scared of "Gunho Yoo" the most in the world, "Yeena Yoon." Why did the love letter meant for his brother "Juhyung Yoo" end up into the hands of the scary Gunho?! Before she could even correct the situation, he replies, "I accept... your confession“
Short & sweet love story. It was nice to read an uncomplicated love story that still held a nice range of emotions and just the right amount of conflict.
Basically “The Mans games” is about the chef FL who is in love with the ML’s doctor bro. One night herself and the friend try to put in a love letter into one of “his” jacket pockets. However, it has come to the conclusion that it ends up in the wrong jacket which is obviously the Stone face lawyer himself = the ML. The ML asks her to marry him and the two uncover secrets about themselves, especially how they met in the first place..as kiddos.
It’s a cute simple romance story to read especially with their relationship blooming throughout the whole thing .
I am rating this a three because I like it. This is, like a lot of romance fiction, is slightly problematic and reading comments about this story is disturbing.
The male lead is in love with the female lead, and is relatively a good guys with good specs. The thing is the female lead is not interested in him. The FL inadvertently slipped the ML a love letter by mistake, and the ML emotionally blackmailed her into a relationship. This is delivered as a comedy, but if you read this through a realistic lens, the FL is actually afraid of the ML. Sure, you can argue, that it's a misunderstanding, but it's still not a cute look that their whole coursthip is based on deception, and emotional blackmail.
I hated reading comments about how the FL does not deserve him, and I agree, no one should be in terror of rejecting a man's advances, but alas, reality is actually very close to that.
Here are my thoughts about the readers. lol the story itself is okay, and Gunho, the ML, is revealed to be a good guy who have pinned for this woman since his youth. I think, the kerfuffle could have been avoided if he was honest about his personality, their history and his feelings, but hey, no one wants a nice, openly communicating couple anyway. lol
This is likely not a fair review at all as I only made it halfway through the story, but I didn’t have it in me to power through to the conflict resolutions; this webtoon was really frustrating.
Considering I only made it halfway through this webtoon, maybe this criticism could’ve eventually been proven wrong, but I don’t think the FL’s fear of the ML was developed well at all.
The ML was given a little bit of presence initially, though all of that intensity kind of vanished due to the fact he didn’t even do anything of harm—and I’d imagine especially in her “fearful eyes”, she saw that he was actually treating her reasonably well.
My point of bringing this up was how awful it was of her to deceive him—and also her stupidity in leading him on (why did she think he accepted her “feelings?”).
Throughout their short period of dating (while she was fabricating a fake relationship with him), the ML never demonstrated how scary he was at all—and it honestly just made me think less of the FL for her irrational cowardice. Instead of choosing to perhaps be angrily lectured for a bit, she chose to deceive someone who clearly held some affection for her, be extremely dishonest and lead him on because of her ludicrous fear of him.
In the end, despite all of this dramatised irrational fear deal, it led to the FL emotionally and honestly voicing her opinion to the ML anyway when the conflict reached its zenith. Her being a “justified” terrible person didn’t even seem justified in the end—because she wasn’t even that scared of him in the first place.
I didn’t like the FL. . .and then it was revealed the ML sucked too.
He essentially just played her because he was too weak to live without being with her, he admitted this too, and sure this left room for character growth, but because I couldn’t connect with either of the leads, I didn’t feel motivated to stick around to find out.
The ML was an awful person as well, probably more awful than the FL. He knew from the start that the letter wasn’t for him and discovered she was infatuated with his brother, yet still continued to “date” her knowing she was scared of him.
Then, instead of a true apology, he fished out a wedding ring and proposed to her.
The FL basically used this revelation to absolve herself of deceiving him and turned to victimhood instead of atoning for her awfulness too.
My point is, they both can’t apologise and at this point, I’ve realised that both the leads were kind of made for each other.
Anyway, I don’t feel like writing this review anymore and I don’t recommend this webtoon.

Just wish we’d been able to see a more elaborate and explanatory ending than what we got. I’m not by any means disappointed, but I would’ve liked to see more of their ‘married’ life- and development. It was a pleasant conclusion nonetheless!
If nothing else, I’m hoping for some bonus chapters later on! That’d definitely be the icing on the cake.

This was a decent manhwa. I didn't love how scared Inha was of Gunho at the beginning, but they were cute and a nice couple once the story got past that part. 3.5 stars.
Toxic and rushed relationship. Everyone in this series kinda sucks really. Also even though the art is done well characters often look way too similar and it gets confusing.
