Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
Books 1 & 3 are best. I just couldn’t listen to these without quite a few breaks. It was quirky but also just had too much sexual innuendo’s overdone. Especially in book 2. Very one-track minded instead of having a good storyline. 1 - INDECENT VAMPIRE EXPOSURE AUDIBLE REVIEW Good narration but I still didn’t enjoy this story. Found Chloe still immature and thought Pete cheeky and Anthony very laid back and that they could have done better. BOOK REVIEW Unfortunately Chloe the heroine spoilt this book for me. I found her immature instead of being a smart, strong, capable woman. She sometimes sounded like a teenager in the way she spoke, thought and behaved. 2 - MR PEABODYS HOUSE AUDIBLE REVIEW I was listening through audible+ but I had to send it back without finishing this story. I tried, I really did but just nope. I will say I listened to books 1 and also 3 as it is my favourite in this series. Brenda was even worse in audible and though I liked the mens’ section, I just couldn’t put up with her whining, bitchy behaviour. BOOK REVIEW Another annoying heroine in Brenda and contradictory words and behaviour. The plot was interesting and had some humorous moments, but it was just too silly overall. I understand these are quirky stories but I just like that bit more depth. I am finding that too many of this authors books have the same overall feel to them. I have always enjoyed her books but it is starting to feel like an assembly line lately. Brenda was just too over the top and annoying, not listening unless it was to herself. I don't get how we're supposed to believe that these three men, Sebastian, Mike and Dale all love Brenda. There is rarely any connection between them. If not for getting the men’s viewpoint, you wouldn’t even know Mike or Dale like Brenda at all. I think their viewpoint is supposed to show them bonding, Just didn’t work for me. 3 - A DEMON STOLE MY KITTY Best book in the series. I’ve bought this one as I enjoyed it. Audible brings out the humour very well. Good narration and I really enjoyed the humour which came across very well in the audible version. A few laugh out loud moments. BOOK REVIEW A humorous quirky and entertaining read. Have read book one, missed book two which I will rectify today and will read any further books the author writes about these fun and engaging characters. Loved all the little plot twists and turns.
This was a fun read. I listened to it on Audiobook. It would have been 4 stars but was brought down by the second book. I found Brenda really irritating. She worked better as a support character in the first book. It was a pity, the idea of a haunted house was a good one. The overarching story involving demons and witches was well done and developed well over the 3 books. The spicy scenes were well written and jealousy issues over sharing was well handled (if briefly).
