Being a twenty-six-year-old paraplegic was never Rhymedi Givens's plan for her life, but life had its way of throwing curve balls. Broken and ashamed of being confined to a chair, she spent most of her days in the comfort of her home alone — until one day, her cousin, Brittani, convinces her to take a trip to Calabasas, California for Spring Break.
Thirty-four-year-old Loyal "Homicide" Taylor is a boss and family man. Owning a chain of weed farms all over the US, he and his little brother, Havoc, are practically legal drug dealers. Engaged to the love of his life, Homicide is counting down the days to say "I do” to his soulmate. But what happens when he finds out the feelings aren't mutual, and he's been getting played like a fiddle all along?
In this crazy, emotional novella, you will witness two broken hearts coincidentally colliding together. Only question is, will the halves connect? Find out in Spring Break in Calabasas With a Gangsta!
This story reminded me so much of my friend. When changes occur beyond your ability, my motto has always been you have ro accept the changes before you can truly move on with life. It too Rhymedi a minute to accept her physical limitations, but she had the right family support! Homicide was her person though he didn't let her physical limitation stop him from expressing himself, he was able to bring her outnif her shell! I would lo e to see more of Homicide and Rhymedi!
I really enjoyed this story. My heart went out to Rhymedi. I understood why she felt the way she felt with what she was dealing with. I wanted her to get out of that headspace so bad, and with the help of her cousin Brittani, she did. I absolutely loved Brittani as a friend/cousin to Rhymedi. She was in her corner, uplifting her and encouraging her at all times.
I loved Homicide. He was everything Rhymedi needed. He was so patient and understanding with her. When he picked her up and took her to the beach, I was swooning. That man was everything. His ex knows she had some AUDACITY. She showed out in this book, and I wish I could've seen karma come for her.
This book left me wanting more. I wanted more of Rhymedi's healing and growth as well as her relationship with Homicide. This story is more than a romance. It's a story of healing and adjusting to your new normal.
That's nice rhymedia was able to get back to herself thanks to homicide for showing her that she was still important and not different then a normal person she deserved to be happy and live her best life and now she see she will find her happiness back that was wrong what Ariel did to him she was low for that one..enjoyed it
Homicide was just what Rhymedi needed they both was going through a heartbreak she was ashamed of being in a chair but he didn’t care about that. He showed her a good time didn’t treat her no differently. I’m happy she decided to live life and not being in a chair change that I would love to hear more from them. Great Read 🔥🔥🔥
Homicide is a real man & I love it! Rhymedi needed to see herself through someone else's eyes after the betrayal of her "fiancé". He was right for her anyway nobody liked him for her. Especially Brittani🤣 Havoc may settle down with Brittani because he was doing brand new things. Ariel 🙄 🤬
I Really Enjoyed Reading This Book. I Loved Homicide And Rhymedi Together & I Hope To Read More About Them & See How They Are Progressing. Havoc, Was Cool Too...He Was Too Funny. Actually I Liked All The Characters Except For Homicides Ex, And Rhymedi Ex But Homicide Was My Favorite. I Loved It! ❤❤❤
Yesssssss babyyyy homicide knew he had a good one when he met my girl rhy I love it its the restoration for me cause you can lose yourself quickly but it takes a real one to help you even when they are hurting fuck Ariel that damn havoc is a mess funny ass great book especially for my wheelchair babies

I wanted to beat Rhymedi a$$ bc she was acting so selfish and feeling sorry for herself I was glad she met Homicide so now we need an update on their romance
Yasss you did that. This is probably one of the best Spring Break books ever. We need more of Homicide. I would actually like a spinoff with all the same people. None of the characters disappointed.
I need more of Rym n Homicide. I need to see their love story come out. I also want to hear more from Brittany and Havoc. Please tell me there’s going to be a spin off.
So I just want you to know that you dead ass wrong for giving this little sneak peak Rhym and Homicide are definitely everything plus Havoc and Britt don’t forget the sisters I need to know what everyone got into. I hope you have a part 2
This was a quick read. I love the diversity of the book because it included someone in a wheelchair. This book had heart to heart moments, laughter and love. I look forward to reading something else from this author.
This book was soo good I definitely need more from rymedi & homicide... because I need to know how this all ends.. homicide was just the man for rym because life had beaten her down I can't wait for this glo-up she's about to bring
This book was so good I read it in a few hours. I would like to see how homicide and rhymedi love story ends. This author always delivers. If you looking for a good book to read check this book out you won’t be disappointed.
I liked every character besides Rhymedi. She was so irritating through the entire book. I could see I'm the beginning,of having self pity, but she complained a whole year. Other than that I felt the other characters were cool.
I would have liked a little background on Ariel's reason for leaving. I'm assuming she found bigger pockets to get into. Wasn't happy with the ending definitely wanted to see a definitive HEA with Rhymi and Homicide. However, at least she's living life now.
Rhymedi is back to herself again with the help of Homicide's fine self. Her cousin did the right thing by dragging her to Calabasas for Spring break. I am so happy for them. I need more of Havoc. He is so funny. I love his relationship with his brother. Great Read!
So glad she is started living again rather letting life pass her by or living thru her family. To meet someone who already looks pass your biggest insecurity is a winner! Trust your life’s process baby!
Awesome Spring break just don't like that leaves so many unanswered question will they get together I would like to see them get married have a child or something needs spin off or part 2
Wow Rhymedi life changed in a blink of an eye. Terry was a weak boy. Homicide lucked when Ariel showed her true colors. I'm hoping their is another book with Rhymedi and Homicide to let us know how their relationship is going?
Homicide was definitely a real 🥷. I loved how he saw Rhym and didn’t see her disability at all and hope they go further in their relationship. I hope Havoc grow up and lock Brit down and I hope Monica and Alicia found some real ones as well. Such a great read.
I loved everything about this novella. Loved the message it carried more than anything. But I just know you ain’t leaving me hanging. I need another book maam.
Yes Homicide got Rhymedi out her funk and gave her a piece of mind and that trip did her some justice and gave her will to live her life and I liked that for her.
