For this reason, if you have already read those titles, you may find parts of this introductory book repeated. However, in this book, we also examine how these concepts can work together, and what filmmakers should be looking for when first embarking on their production journey. This should be extremely useful for all readers, even if you are already familiar with these processes.
This book reads quickly and is written to be an introduction to many of the steps to financing a project. The author is brief with most of the topics but does not waste pages with unnecessary fluff. I believe if you intend on reading further books in the series, as I do, it is a great way to get started. However, if read on its own you will be left with a cursory understanding of the process, but not enough knowledge to execute a funding campaign.
