Goodnight Digger!

Perfect for children who love all types of monster trucks and construction sites!Calming rhyme perfect for quiet bedtime routines with family. The perfect read-aloudFun, engaging art that's sure to make this a classic beloved by generationsFor fans of Goodnight Moon and Goodnight, Goodnight Construction SiteWhat parents and grandparents are

This is a new favorite bedtime book for our vehicle obsessed 1.5-year-old. The repetitive nature of the prose means he can easily anticipate the favorite part - "good night digger!" We sometimes have to read it four times before we head to bed.My 2-year-old has a very large book collection, but this is one of his favorites/most requested. The illustrations are great and endearing - one of the best I've seen out of all the children's books I've read. A must buy for any child that is obsessed with transportation/vehicles.We have both Goodnight Digger and Goodnight Tractor. They are favorites at bedtime. Easy to read, rhymes through the whole book.My grandson loves me reading it and he points to all the vehicles. Happy book for him!

Librarian Note: There is more than one author by this name in the Goodreads database.

When I'm not up to my knees in nappies, I write children's books. I also spend a fair amount of time eating chocolate. I try to write funny, read-aloud books that parents will enjoy as much as children - after all, if you have to share the same stories umpteen times, you may as well enjoy them.
I hope you like my books enough to read them umpteen times. Thank you - Michelle.

Read for my toddler's bedtime. A bedtime book saying goodnight to all the toys, clean up and go to sleep. Vocabulary words for different toys: fire truck, plane, dump truck, train bus, and digger. I like how kids have the opportunity to learn different transportation. Cute illustrations. I enjoyed the night view of different transportations in action such as chopper, van, tram, tractor, etc with its headlights on! I highly recommend everyone to read this book!

Thank you Sourcebooks Kids for the opportunity to read and review!

I have read this book several times with my partners son- and he absolutely loves it! The repetition of the phrase ‘goodnight digger’ is his favourite, and he just loves to shout along whilst you are reading! Definitely doesn’t calm him down for bed though!!

Children, once they've learned to say "hello" and "goodbye", love saying all those phrases to just about everything--after all practice makes perfect, right? And what better toys to say good night to then all the vehicles many children love? I know the kiddos I babysit would gladly delay bedtime by saying good night to all of their favorite construction vehicles. The emphasis on the digger (the favorite of both the kid in the book and the one I read to) was a special bonus, as well as the rhyming.

We ordered this book through Scholastic book orders and it is a favorite with my two year old son!

There is simple and cute rhyming text with consistant repeating phrases that small toddlers will pick up on and love to recite. The illustrations are cute and match the tone of the text.

This is our new favorote gift for other little boys of a similar age. A+

4.5 stars. Beautiful and slightly magical-seeming illustrations, and really pleasant text to read. My 20-month-old son is obsessed with pointing out the toy tram in this book.

Really simple text that follows a child as they say good night to all their trucks, tractors, boats, and most importantly of all, their digger. A fun and quick bedtime story!
