This book is about looking at the big picture of the Bible’s meaning. In the Bible, we sometimes miss the big picture because we are too focused on the details. We are too focused on the individual verses and “miss the forest for the trees.” This book focuses on the meaning of the forest. It focuses on the inspired meaning of the Bible, what God wants us to know. God speaks to us in the Bible. It’s not just a book written by people. There’s something more there, very much more. It is inspired by God and leads us to God.

This book is composed of ten chapters that each look at a major theme of the big picture. These chapters were written so that together they show the overall meaning of the Bible. The Big Picture Meaning of the Bible was written for people who have forgotten what the Bible is about, maybe never knew, and for those who just want to look at the big picture.

Stuart K. Norris, M.Div., Th.M. graduated from Wheaton College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and studied at the University of Nevada. He has been a pastor, a hospice chaplain, and marriage and family therapist working in private practice and hospital-based settings.
