His happy sunshine girl didn’t deserve to be pulled into his world of fire and brimstone. All he could do was hope like hell he found her in time.
As a Black Ops Contractor for Nemesis Inc. Cormack *Jeep* Ford, has seen the worst humans can inflict on their fellow man—in some of the shittiest hellholes on earth. With a twenty-year military career under his belt, he’s not one bit sorry when Nemesis Inc. relocates from Kabul to Montana. Maybe now his boots are firmly on US soil, he can peruse a happy ever after with woman who calls to his soul.
To Willow Black it feels like she’s waited a lifetime for her soldier to come home. Who’d have thought a connection made over emails and letters would lead her to the man who makes her heart and body sing. With Cormack moving back to the US full time, she can’t wait to see if the connection between them can withstand the test of time spent in the same freaking time zone. Just when she’s starting to believe he may be her happy ever after, a terrorist destroys everything she trusts in— dragging her into the terrifying reality of the world’s underbelly.
A man forged in fire and brimstone—a woman made for sunshine and roses—and a terrorist determined to make them pay. Can Cormack convince Willow her life’s not over? Can she convince him to let her go? Or will their hearts have the final say?
This high octane military romantic suspense is filled with an alpha hero, a strong heroine, twists, danger, banter, and love! Happy Ever After guaranteed!
Intense from the outset. What a love story, this has all the feels to the max. Cormack is so sweet, supportive and understanding of Willow, he totally gets her and her needs no matter what, he finds ways to train her in self defence and survival while making it seem like fun or a game. So great because it comes in useful. Willow is tiny, but she is strong, even stronger in knowing Mr Grumpy will always come for her if she needs him. I love, love, love this story. This couple captured my heart heart while I was reading this, I had smiles and tears, even laughter at certain points but mostly they had me swooning and sighing, even when they were in danger and at risk their love shone through. There is some action and violence along with suspense but I found some beautiful scenes as well, Willow made some very firm friends in a very short time but she's such a special person she doesn't even realise it. This is a beautiful, emotional story and one I struggled to put down, starting it in the evening I was at 50% before forcing it out of my hands to sleep and finishing it after work. I actually think this is the authors best book yet, even though I've loved them all.
This second book in the Nemesis Inc. series will immediately grab your attention and keep it until the last page. Cormack ‘Jeep’ Ford/Grumpy has been keeping a secret from his friends and teammates involving the woman who holds his heart. Intense from the outset.
This one was not my favorite in the series. First, I am not an “age gap” fan, so that was my first problem. Then some of the grammar was awful. Sentence structure was all wrong. It was like her editor took a holiday for this book. But the story line was good and I enjoyed the rest.
This second book in the Nemesis Inc. series will immediately grab your attention and keep it until the last page. Cormack ‘Jeep’ Ford/Grumpy has been keeping a secret from his friends and teammates involving the woman who holds his heart. When he gets a voicemail that that tells him his woman and his heart is in jeopardy, nothing is going to stop him from saving her - nothing!
Willow ‘Sunshine’ Black uses the lessons Cormack gave her to keep herself safe, even though she’s scared to death and struggles a bit with what she needs to do. She knows Cormack will come to her rescue, she has faith in the man she loves.
Despite the age difference and the disapproval of his teammates, Cormack isn’t going to let his Sunshine down or let her go. Willow is super sweet and the Nemesis crew definitely appreciate her cooking and baking skills. She is easily accepted as part of the family, especially since many of them already knew her before she was Cormack’s woman.
This is just the second book I’ve read by the author, but it will not be the last. I’m eager for Logan’s book later this year and am interested in Bella’s previous books.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Just know that these stories still have the villain at large. I see a pattern, that the villain will not meet his end, until the last story.
As with many military stories, crude words used and the Lord's name. Sex happens a lot, with heat level 4+ out of 5. I didn't feel a connection to this couple, mainly because of the HUGE age gap. The H came across as a teenager the way he talked to the h.
Violence, some suspenseful moments, interesting secondary characters, standalone story with crossover characters.
In the second kidnapping, it was a mystery, why they took the h and not the one they really were after. Didn't make sense, plus they were at a traffic light, wouldn't the car doors be locked?
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, editing issued, little on romance, plenty on lust and steam. (ljb)
The last person Cormack thought would ever be caught up in the madness that surrounds Nemesis just happens to be the woman he is keeping secret from the rest of the group. But when Willow's life is in danger all of his truths will be revealed and even though his boss is not happy with the relationship the entire team is there to get her back. Will Cormack be able to save Willow and his heart at the same time? From the opening pages the reader is taken on a wild ride filled with adorable interactions and heart warming dialogue. Once again, Bella Stone gives us a couple that we instantly fall for and just hope get a HEA.

I enjoyed Willow & Cormacks story. It was an intriguing read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
3.5* This was a relatively good book, but I liked the first one in this series a lot more. I'm not a fan of huge age gaps. Because they all were already experienced SEALs at her first school day, and they served with her father, I suppose he has to be around 25 years or even more older than her. Which also makes me think about the ages of all this guys. They must all be around 50 years minimum. He called her Sunshine so often, that I nearly forgot her real name. The fact that she called 2 of his brothers Uncle Rex and Uncle Dalton made her look like 12, even if she was 27 in this story. All in all it was a good book, but not my favourite.
This was my first foray into the works of Bella Stone. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed this story. Some of the characters are larger than life and I think are a bit exaggerated but I think that adds to the charm.
The world of Nemisis Inc. is a complicated place. There are a lot of people around and I think this is going to be an epic series that is all interconnected and builds on each other. I will be going back and reading book one. I suggest starting there as I was a bit lost on some of the underlying plot lines.
Cormack ‘Jeep’ Ford kept huge secrets from his team of brothers. When Willow Black, a deceased team guy’s daughter calls in a panic, all the guy’s eyes and protests are aimed in Jeep’ss direction, neither Willow nor Jeep are listening! Lina’s ex-boss wants her back so badly, he’d sent a team to kidnap Willow so he could trade her for Lina, the team isn’t hearing that! The team arrives in time to thwart King’s attempt to retrieve the very pregnant but still lethal Lina and he won’t give up! Rating: 4.25stars
4.5 stars , I loved the way the story continues from the first book and will likely through future books 3+4 . With military men, romance and a villain this series keeps you hanging on. It’s a quick read with lots of steam to make it a great beach read. Looking forward to the rest of the stories in this series and to continue the journey with Dalton and Cormack
I received a free advanced copy from the author , I would recommend this book to friends and my military book club
I can't even put my words together for this review. Reading about Cormack and Willow's love and struggles seriously gutted me. The strength, love, respect, and devotion between these two is beautiful.
For a tough guy, Cormack was a teddy bear for Willow. And she might be a lover of all things but man, she is a fighter!!!!
You have to read this book, you can't pass this one up.
From the moment that Jeep called Willow Sunshine I instantly had a soft spot for him. My husband has called me sunshine since we started dating ten years ago 💕 I really enjoyed this story, this is my second to last Bella Stone book so I did try to draw it out as long as possible because I’m not ready to done yet! The epilogue was soo probably labels, it really gets you in the feels in the best way! It’s bittersweet starting Logan but excited to see where his story leads us!
Jeep has been keeping a few secrets from his Nemesis family and with one voicemail, all of them start being revealed.
Sunshine (Willow) is taking everything that Jeep has taught her to survive. She knows that he will come for her and she will do anything to stay alive for him.
There is some bumps when Nemesis finds out but family is family.
This is a well written with a steamy romance and two characters that are made for each other. Cormack has relocated from Kabul to Montana. Now he and Willow can see where their relationship will go but when terrorist sweeping Willow up in the chaos will their relationship withstand the fallout?

I really enjoyed this one. It’s an age gap story and I loved the fierce “uncles” but the determined couple did not let it faze them. Lots of action and suspense and unfortunately errors. This books needs a major edit. I deducted 1 star and considered another one but I enjoyed the story.
Loved For Cormack's story. I love Bella's writing style. She pulls you right into the books and you experience the characters worlds right along side them. Jeep reminded me of my very first published character. On to the next book. So glad I discovered this author and by sheer chance. Grab one of her many books and you won't be disappointed.
This is a fast paced action packed heartfelt laugh out loud emotionally charged plot with a quirky bunch of recurring characters and a new twist in the fight against evil and the ugliness in the world while striving for a happy ever after and a love for all times.
Enjoyable story with some intense moments. Good characters with more stories to come I hope. Willow was perfect for a “grumpy” Seal who ended up having a lot,of love to,share.
Not much of a fan of MF these days, more MM but I enjoyed the continuation of the series.Glad they were able to find their HEA. Love watching Lina and Nemy. Maybe more crossovers later in the series?
I really enjoyed reading this book. Jeep and Willow had some explaining to do to the team. They had kept their relationship quiet. When King hits again everything changes and not for the best. I look forward to reading more in this series.
Excellent book absolutely awesome, suspense and action packed pages all the way enjoyed all the characters. For me great reading! I recommend to anyone who loves these tough guys to go for the ride. Thanks
This series just nips, tears and pokes your heart. Each book can be read as a stand alone. I loved Grumpy. As Sunshine says IBW. Sunshine had some inner steal. Could be triggers for some. Acts are not descriptive, but are told.
Thank you for sharing you awesome talent with this book! It gave me a great story about 2 people that kept my attention and had me wanting to stay up all night reading to the end!
This book has great characters including the former spec ops military group and their women. I enjoyed their loyalty and camaraderie. The book has some action, suspense, some fun, and romance. It's a very entertaining book.
Intriguing mystery heavy military story with deep romance.
If fast moving actions and military people caught up in finding under world people setting on causing terror and death are your choice. This book has it all and it will keep you intrigued.
This could’ve been a great book. But the errors drive me crazy. Missing words, incorrect words, etc. This is unacceptable, especially when I am paying.
