It's with a heavy heart that I read the last book in the Sutton family series, but with a glad heart that Logan's Secrets are finally solved, and he finds his HEA.
Logan Sutton disappeared from his seven siblings a year ago and is presumed dead; however, we have gotten some hints in previous books he may still be alive. He is working on dangerous, covert assignments for a secret group. He is happy in his decision of working for good but at the same time, is sad he had to leave his family & become an invented new man. His new assignment is finding and prosecuting the two Mace brothers.
Lady Arianna Stewart is a lovely, kind lady who is mainly concerned with finding a good husband for her younger sister before her father and everything is taken away from them after he has gambled their money away and left him owing loads of creditors. She has agreed to deliver messages for her father, who is trading secrets for money to the group Logan works for.
When Logan and Arianna meet the first time, there are instant fireworks and neither understands the draw - Logan has never reacted this way towards a woman and Arianna is a widow that duty forced her to marry, and it wasn't a happy marriage. Their chemistry, sexual meetings, acceptance of love was downright "hot" and the mystery, danger, betrayal of family kept you turning pages quickly. I loved the epilogue with ALL the siblings and their spouses around the dinner table and the dedication was awesome. I am looking forward to reading Archer Tierney and the Duke of Ridgely's stories, characters that were introduced in this series. I voluntarily read & reviewed an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book; all thoughts & opinions are my own.
