Book 4 is really heating up! This has been a pretty quiet town, this Froggy Rocks until recently. Things are going along as usual until Wayne shows up at the hotel needing a room. He had a fire at his home over the pizza place, so he lost his business & his home. Who is this strange man named Pete always showing up on the beach talking mostly to Laura? What is he doing there? He is not looking for the gold although he pretends he is. Who is he talking to on a concealed Mike? What Ronald from the IRS doing there who has been put on administrative leave? Does the IRS know he is there? Is Diana hiring all of these people to try to scare them away? What kind of game is she playing to try to get the gold? That is all she wants. She doesn't even care about her own daughter. That is very sad. Charlene had a strange night, she said she talked to her dead husband. She is totally changed. Nobody can believe the complete change in her! What happen to her? Wendy is slowly changing & has a long talk with Laura & tells her that her dad has feelings for her. She is definitely changing & actually becoming nice to everyone! Before she didn't want Laura to hardly talking to her dad. Wendy & Nolan are hanging out together a lot. They have more in common than they realized. Laura & Wendy are on the beach talking about her dad & Nolan when Nolan comes flying up all out of breathe & can barely talk calling Laura's name. He has to take a minute to catch his breathe and tries to tell Laura that she needs to get back to the hotel that the sheriff is there & it is bad news! What is going on & why is the sheriff there. Who is in trouble? What is the bad news? Stick around Book 5 is bound to be good!

I receive this ARC book for free & am giving this review for free & in my own words. This series is really getting good. Who said beach books can't be good. I can't wait for Book 5. I'm dying of curiosity waiting for this mystery to end!

Laura and Charlene are working together to get the resort up and running.
The plumbing needs fixing and a new strategy is proposed by the plumber.

Harry and his daughter want to buy the lighthouse but it is to going
to be that simple to restore.

Harry's ex-wife is trying to destroy Harry and get custody of her daughter.

We learn a bit more about charlene and her obsession with martians and what
caused this.

Will they be able to get things lined up and ready to contend with Harry's ex-wife.

And there is still the matter of the gold or the no gold.

The sage continued - waiting for book #5.

Enjoying this series very much and seeing the relationship grow between Wendy, daughter of Harry who live in the hotel, and Laura. Laura is the wise sister to Charlene who owns the hotel and which Laura is helping manage and becoming part owner of in Foggy Rock, OR. Always something going on and story ends with Wendy, Harry, Wayne and Laura driving in Laura's SUV to the police station to support Harry with Sheriff Conrad's required questioning because of Diana's false testimonies. Diana is proving to be quite the deadly spider to deal with. Who will win, the evil spider of the innocent ex-husband of the widow spider, Harry? Anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

Things are really taking off in Foggy Rocks. This sleepy little town isn't so quiet anymore - mystery & intrigue are taking over, and not just at the Beach Invasion Hotel! This is a great series to ready - each one leaves you ready to start the next short read, which picks up precisely where the last one left off.

I am leaving this review without influence from the author, after reading the ARC.

The story intensifies with book four when men in black show up in Foggy Rocks at the hotel and Laura and the gang are facing more mystery and intrigue in this must-read beach series by gifted author Hayley Summers. Can't wait to see what happens in book five. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Is there anything that Diana will not stop at to get harry and Wendy???? Such a black widow!!! I’m really starting to like the new Charlene! I’m excited to see how harry and Laura are going to turn out. Wendy and Nolan seem like the perfect pair… and what is this weird Peter guy up to????

There is always something happening in these books. Harry married a snake and she is coming back with a vengeance, to take revenge. She is a scary person that you don't know what will happen next.

The plots thikens
