If you enjoy romance with a dash of the paranormal, then this is for you.
Storm Gryffin left Boring (the most exciting place to live) to escape her family's drama. What she doesn't expect is to see the son of her family's arch nemesis in school. Storm's powers demands she maintain control at all times or things go wrong. Being near him is a bad idea, and now he wants her help?
3.5 stars🌟 I didn't know what to expect with this short story but I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. It was a quick, fun and cute read and it's definitely going to put a smile on your face. However, I have one issue with the short story. The drama with Mrs Walton at the end just felt so out of place in an epilogue. I feel like it should have been done on a different chapter and then the epilogue would be used to nicely wrap up the events of the story. Anyway, that's just my opinion. I am definitely looking forward to reading the second book in this series.
I would like to thank the author for providing me with ARC of this book.
In ‘ It All Started With a Peach,’ we meet Storm and Lucas, two very headstrong and fascinating characters. As chaotic and dramatic as their families are, they had enough and decided it was best they headed out of state for college — to get far away from them.
Looking for something new, Storm imagined her newfound life would be easier said than done. But starting fresh isn’t always easy. Storm runs into Lucas, the son of her family's arch nemesis. Who also happens to be attending the same college as her.
• It All Started With a Peach was quite an exciting read. My second book by this author, and so far, I can say I wasn't disappointed. The writing style was easy to follow, and I will admit there were some parts of the short story that I didn't see coming. Overall, this was an excellent read. It captured my attention from start to finish. The storyline was truly different - I have no other way to put it.
Another massive thank you to the author @sylviagodwin_writes for allowing me to be part of this and providing me with an ARC of this book.
This book took me back to the good ol’ days of The Good Witch. I’m definitely rewatching a few episodes this weekend 😂. Oh wow! 🤩 Super Cute. Easy to read. Enemies to Lovers. Feuding Families. I found it so easy to connect with the characters. The plot was super relatable and the flow was beautiful.
Enemies to Lovers is the superior trope. Team StormCas 🤩😂 I’ve never been a fan of novellas but Sylvia got me hooked.
But....
I have questions 1. Why did you make it so short? I need more😩🥲 2. How were they able to hide their relationship for 4 years from his mom? 3. When are we getting the second part? 4. Do we get more StormCas scenes? Please say yes.
Lucas defending Storm and her family >>>>>>> I’m mad that you didn’t let Storm rain lightning and fire on Mrs. Walton. I mean it’d be completely justified response. Let’s talk about that one sex scene 😩😩😩 it was perfect. Their first kiss and first everything was the extra spice I needed.
Thank you for reminding me I’m touch starved 🙄 😂🤩
Pre-order this guys 🤗🤗🤗🤗

This story was fast and so, so sweet! Storm was a lovable character with an interesting back story. I really enjoyed her and Lucas’s love story. I would definitely recommend this quick read if you are a romance lover like me.
Okay let me start off by saying love short and sweet novellas it's a good break from a full fledged novel Immediately reading this is for Rome0 and Juliet vibes and loved it Istan forbidden romance and rival families! In my opinion it's like a modern version of Romeo and Juliet and am HERE for it! Plus who doesn't love when they end up at the same college together! They end up realizing that they aren't like each other's families and it's so cute Ihaven't been feeling very well the past few days so I'm so thankful for Sylvia letting me post my review late she's one of the sweetest people ever.
A cute, quaint read, It All Started With a Peach by Sylvia Godwin literally starts with a peach. Well, not literally, but the love between the main characters does.
Storm, named for her control of storms, comes from a family that comes off as strange. That's because they have powers, but we don't know more than that. Then there's Lucas, who apologetically comes from an uppity family. His mother can't stand Storm's family. She is constantly making snide comments, more often than not right to their faces.
Both Storm and Lucas head off to college (out of state and away from the drama that encompasses their families), and coincidentally end up at the same school.
Storm and Lucas bump into one another, and they share the whole, "What are you doing here?" conversation. One thing leads to another, and then there's peaches, math, and angry parents. Yes, you read that right.
It All Started With a Peach is a sweet, short read that will have you vying for Storm and Lucas' love, and possibly craving peaches. This book will be available on Amazon June 28, 2022.
This was a cute, short and sweet novella. I enjoyed the college vibe and the relationship growth between these two, even though their families were nemesis.
This was a super cute, quick and easy read introducing us to the Gryffin family & their crazy family drama! Storm Gryffin has left her home town on her own adventure starting college & to get some space from her family. Here she runs into Lucas & it's an insta-love/connection! Storm has to learn to control her powers by being around him as she can't seem to stay away. This is a quick and fun romance read that adds in some paranormal! It was a great palate cleanser on some of the darker reads lately! I am looking forward to seeing more from Sylvia Godwin!
This was a very quick read and it made me really wishing this was a full fledged novel where we could have the buildup of tension. However I still enjoyed it!
Storm and Lucas come from rivalling families and end up going to the same college together. Storm quickly realized that maybe Lucas isn’t like his family and the same could be said about hers.
I’ve been in a reading slump for a while so this quick paced novella was perfect for that! If you want a quick read this is perfect I finished it in no time!
This short story was so refreshing, it was so unexpected and cute af. Sylvia Godwin introduces Storm and Lucas, two very different people but who are connected by their families' rivalry. They both try to get away from their family drama and find each other in the same college out of state. Storm is special, her powers requires control but being around Lucas definitely challenges it. It was so fun to watch these two characters fall in love, the college feel was really sweet, and it will leave you wanting more. Can't wait to see what comes next!
