This book is very easy to read with clear step-by-step techniques to end negative thoughts and suicidal ideation. The author, an experienced counselor, intersperses her own experiences and those of her clients to illustrate her points. A great resource for anyone who experiences suicidal thoughts, negative thoughts, self-defeating self talk, or knows someone who does. The writing and tone is incredibly hopeful and inspiring. I read it through in about 2 hours, but it’s meant to be read through with different exercises practiced through each chapter. This makes it incredibly accessible to everyone.
