Cupid’s Pack has always served one purpose: Protect the purity of mate bonds.
But when my own fated mate turns out to be an unbearable prick, I tarnish my mother’s perfect record. As the Luna of Cupid’s Pack, she’s never allowed one of our own to live unmated… And she has no intention of making an exception for me.
When I choose to reject my mate, I seal my fate as an outcast.
I have no business being part of a pack known for love bonds when I don’t understand what love really is. I pack up the precious stone my father gave me for my eighteenth birthday and go rogue, determined to find answers for myself.
My Heart Stone leads me far from home, and it brings something unexpected. Mate bonds. Five distinct bonds that defy the rules shifters have always lived by. All five of my new mates are ready to mark our bonds, but nothing prepared me to make a choice like this.
What if our fates aren’t sealed after all?
Cupid's Pack is a rejected mate romance with a heroine who gets to move on with new mates. This book ends on a cliffhanger and is recommended for readers 18+.

I will occasionally select a book that I know will just be a ridiculous filler. A predictable low page story. A ‘no expectations’ type of pick. Then I read books that could be so much better. Books that could have so much more depth. A creative premise that makes me pause…and it is just meh. Forgettable. Those books make me crazy! Yes, I have rated worse books better. But DUDE…this was like eating rice cakes…with no water.
As Luna of the Cupid pack, Quinn’s mother has the ability to form (or break) mate bonds and dabbles as the packs matchmaker. When one of her mother’s clients, Jakob, scents Quinn as his mate. She rejects him and flees her pack, but Jakob won’t take no for an answer. Luckily for Quinn fate has other plans, and she meets her other fated mates while on the run. Jakob becomes more unhinged, and the book ends on a cliffy that has me on edge and dying for book 2!
The female main character comes from a unique pack. She is forced from her pack by her mother and 1 of her fated mates who is horrible and trying to force her to bond. She goes on the run. Along the way she encounters more mates. Each mate is different with difficult pasts. As each new mate is added, the dynamic changes. She tries to find a way to get the horrible alpha mate to leave her alone.
Does the world this book is set in have vehicles??? If so, why not use them? Why run across multiple states as wolves when you are trying to keep shifters a secret?
Quinn is on the run from a mate bond that she doesn’t want but that her mother, the Luna of the Cupid pack, is trying to form for her with the obnoxious alpha wanna be Jakob. During her escape she comes across 5 men who all have felt the mate bond to her. Mason, Ian, Willem, Sailor and Kristoffer have chosen her over their own duties and allegiances. Her safety comes first over the unusual mate bonds that have been forming.
We end on a cliffhanger where Kristoffer has decided that his brother Jakob needs to die so he can not hurt Quinn. This was a pretty quick read with adventure, drama, steaminess and mystery over the heart stones that seem to keep bringing mates to Quinn which her wolf is not complaining about at all, she thinks the more the merrier.
I received this book as an ARC but I've read it with KU. Our Fmc, Quinn, is part of the Cupid Pack and her mother is their Luna. Her mother is also the matchmaker of not only the pack but I think everyone? People from different packs come to her mother to find a mate. I'm not to sure about this, but I think that it's not necessarily their fated mate that they find. After Quinn's father passed away, her mother changed a lot. She already didn't really sound like the motherly type, especially towards Quinn's "little" sister, but now she's not really acting like a parent at all (I think). Quinn has been doing a lot of things behind her mother's back; things that just had to be done, like making sure there's enough money for food (also making sure there actually is food), but she's been matching people as well (we don't really get to know about this though).
Quinn has always been told that the moment you meet your fated mate is a beautiful experience, but when Quinn meets her fated mate she and her wolf don't feel that, all their instincts scream danger.
After that everything goes really fast and that's part of why I gave it three stars. Our Fmc would sometimes jump to conclusions that I really didn't understand. Maybe if I experienced a bit more of what the relationship with her mother was like, that I would understand it. For me a lot of things in the beginning felt like her mother trying to act like a Luna, and Quinn was acting a bit like a tantrum throwing teenager. But what I was really missing was some more story. Quinn is travelling from place to place with her mates. You don't experience the travelling though, which is fine, but it also seems like they didn't experience it either. I would've expected to read about how long were they on the road for, but most importantly what they talked about. They know absolutely nothing about each other. We as the reader know their entire background because all the characters are thinking about all the things they have experienced in their lives, when you're in their POV. I think it would've have been if some of that was put in a conversation between all the characters.
There were some other things that I was just really confused about. - It took a while before we learn about if multiple fated mates is a thing, but even then the answer is it might have happened before. - There were multiple moments in the book where I was almost yelling at my kindle "Why don't you use the MIND LINK!" - Ian says that his father told him he was welcome back home no matter what. And from the previous POV it made me feel like he had a conversation with his father about what he was going to do. But then later Quinn is thinking "I'm pretty sure Ian didn't say a word before disappearing to ....". I did not understand that conclusion.
I know that now it sounds like a bad book, but it really isn't. I just think it could improve a bit. Right now the story stays a bit on the surface and I would really like it to go a bit deeper into the story. A bit more character and relationship building. There was plenty of space left in the book, since it was only 221 pages. I do still really want to read the next book.
Well, this one was different. I can't remember ever reading a reverse harem that went this route.
To start, normally, the guys all know each other in some capacity, more often than not already being friends who were aware they would share a girl [going by my known collection of reverse harems, not the trope as a whole]. Also, the girl normally meets them all together or right after each other.
By the end, Quinn has a total of six mate bonds and two of the sets are brothers. And so far, not all of them are okay with sharing yet.
This book was so interesting because it did this. For some, there are days before she meets the next mate. It did bother me a bit when she basically immediately accepted the mate bond with the twins after she met them first after Jakob[the unbearable prick], especially after her issue with Jakob. But I can kind of understand it since her wolf had a clear hatred for Jakob and was immediately wary of him before he even touched her but liked the others. Makes me really wonder why Jakob is one of her mates at all. Her wolf instantly hates the bond, even without Quinn actually knowing Jakob's personality.
On the flip side, she is rightfully wary when she meets Jakob's brother and gets a bond with him as well. Despite him trying to reassure her, it makes sense that she would assume he is just like his brother, even if that isn't the case. And I kind of like him.
Each guy has something that I really like. Mason is stubborn but extremely protective of Quinn, even going so far as the lie to her about there not being any available cabins for her to stay in, meaning she would have to stay with them for the night. Ian is just a ball of excitable energy that makes him cute but he's also understanding and knows when she calm down. Willem is absolutely baby in that he's shy and unsure. It breaks my heart that he kept his cabin just in case Quinn decided she didn't want him, as though he knew she wouldn't choose him. And she has no plans on choosing right now. Sailor is gruff and rough around the edges and doesn't really like that she has so many mate bonds. I think he's coming around to it though. And Kristoffer is nothing like his brother. He's the complete opposite. He's kind and clearly respects Quinn's choice. He accepts that he might never get to be with her because of how much Jakob has influenced her perception of his family. He'd have to really prove himself to be accepted by her.
Jakob is the only one who has no redeeming qualities. Not even his looks give him any points. Quinn states that Jakob looked like the sculptor who made him had a vague idea of what classically handsome looked like and went with it. The other guys are all drop-dead gorgeous. I found this very amusing.
I am excited to see where this goes but also worried considering how the book ended. So here goes nothing.
Quinn is on the run from an arranged bond that she wants absolutely part in. While she’s doing this "reverse, rejected mate" thing, she encounters Mason, Ian, Willem, Sailor and Kristoffer, that instantly felt connection to her.
Cupid's Pack is the first book in the Heart Stone Mates series. This is also my first book by Kelsey Gamble. I really loved it, it was a fresh take on the rejected mate trope. I wasn’t instantly connected to them but I definitely sense some growth, strength, and protective vibes. Which so awesome when they meet Quinn. QUINN WAS AMAZING!! She was so strong, unafraid to stand up for what she wants and believes. I definitely can't wait for the next book! This was an incredible start to this series!
DNF so not leaving a rating bc I only made it 27% thru. The book was dumb. So many plot holes.
Way too much telling of useless shit, tons of outfit and hair descriptions (we know🙄the fmc is soooooo unique and super cool and different). I really didn’t want to read anymore of this ding dong’s personal thoughts.
The writing just didn’t pull me in and the characters, like the bad guy fated mate and the fmc’s mom, seemed paper flat and cartoonish. Nothing deep. Nothing interesting. The writing also felt like a first or second draft. It wasn’t smooth, it was choppy. I wasn’t convinced of anything going on in the story-from her mom changing personalities to her fear as she ran away. Idk. I wanted to like this story bc the blurb seemed interesting. But it was horrible.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Kelsey Gamble's newest series, Heart Stone Mates, kicks off with Cupid's Pack. It's a multiple-perspective paranormal reverse harem with wolf matchmakers, fated mates, special artifacts, and broken bonds. I really enjoyed the story, there was plenty of uniqueness that captured my attention.
Quinn Cassidy is the sweetest, kindest person. She's a caretaker, she takes care of her mom (the pack's Luna) after her dad died, she watches her little sister, would do anything for her pack, and has become an intricate part of her mom's matchmaking. It's not just matchmaking, it helps all types of shifters in every situation including the darker aspects of mating bonds. Quinn does all this because she has the biggest heart but doesn't let that fool you she also has a steel spine, she's no pushover and knows her worth.
This is a medium burn, the guys trickle in from start but things don't get steamy right away. First, there's Jakob who is evil incarnate and Quinn rejects him there is zero redemption there. Then the twins Ian who is laid back and happy and Mason who is the serious one, both are kind men who have their own issues but are there for Quinn when she needs it. Then there's Willem, who is adorable but sad and is happy to find a place with them, I love him. Sailor is the true meaning of when grumpy meets sunshine, the man is a grouch but is there for his people. Finally, there's Kristoffer, seems okay but I'm still debating. One thing they all have in common, Quinn is their mate and they care about the bond.
The idea for a pack known for its matchmaking service is a fun idea, it's different and I don't know I would've ever thought of it. The artifacts, heart stones, are weird. I know they are special and play some kinda part in what's going on but I still can't quite figure out what's going on with them. I have a few questions, where did they come from? What is this magic? What happens if they fall into the wrong hands? I also question Quinn's mother, another bad (not horrible) parent. Something is most definitely up with this lady.
Cupid's Pack was a good read that ended on a cliffhanger. Things aren't looking so good for Quinn and the guys, I'm curious to see where Gamble takes the story next.
Cupid's Pack is the first book in the Heart Stone Mates series and was a fabulous rejected mate shifter RH romance with a unique twist compared to most where this time our gorgeous heroine is the one doing the rejecting and not the male—and I was 100% hooked right from the start!
Having been raised in a pack that honors all fated mate bonds (even when it means being tied to a jerk of a man like Jakob for life) Quinn decides to do the unthinkable and reject her fated mate. However the Luna of the pack has no desire to allow an unmated wolf to remain in their pack, even if it’s her own daughter, and soon Quinn finds herself running from the man she rejected, an outcast from her park, and on a mission to find her own fate and fulfill her own destiny. And where that destiny leads her was to a discovery that will rock the foundation of her previous world…and right into the arms of five new mates
I loved how amazing Quinn was as a character, and how she worked so hard to be the perfect matchmaker for others, helping them find love—even when fate wasn’t necessarily so kind to her at first. And her men? Absolute perfection! I loved how they each had their own history and background, but how they were all faithful to Quinn and would do anything to protect her. And the steam was definitely on point because let’s just say Mason, Ian, Willem, Sailor and Kristoffer know how to being the heat!!!The twists and turns, secrets and intrigue were all just the right amount to keep you enthralled as a reader and after that epic cliffhanger of an ending I can’t wait for book 2!!!
Overall, if you’re a fan of rejected mate stories where the heroine doesn’t have to choose between five sexy men—this is for you!

Beware.... ensure this series is complete before starting Cupids Pack as this book ends in a cliffhanger, that is why I gave 4 stars. I've been caught out before when new authors do this by not finishing the series by real-life issues such as dying or just deciding they don't want to write anymore it's disappointing. So far, this book has been intriguing, to say the least, we met Quinn and Mason briefly in the authors shifter legacy series, and there have been no returning characters from that series yet, maybe in the next book. So far, Quinn has left her pack after rejecting an evil mate. On her journey with the heart stones her father gave her, they seem to guiding her to collect her mates as she runs away from Jakob that won't take no for an answer he refuses to accept the rejection. All Quinns mates have different personalities and have to all get to know each other and except the polygamous harem that Quinn can't seem to understand why this is happening to her. Quinn thinks it's an apology from the fates for giving her the evil mate Jakob, but us readers know better after the cliffhanger. Jakob needs a mate if he wants to inherit his father's throne, but what evil is happening in the Red Ash Pack that is full of secrets that the fates got involved in a mysterious way. So far, there's no hea as the plot thickens on this journey. There are multiple povs and not a lot of steam so far. I've yet to read a steamy harem scene and I'm hoping the author can pull it off writing a harem because a good harem should come together with all mates at one time or another in a smutty bedroom scene in my opinion. So far, we have only read the twins together, and it was a vanilla ++. Definitely worth the read.
This was my first book by Gamble and I was pleasantly surprised by her "shifters-lite" point of view in Cupid's Pack. The shifter trope in books can really run the gamut of barely noticeable that they have an animal side, to so heavily influenced and dependent on their animal, that the characters almost lose traces of their humanity. This had wolf shifters, and while their wolves were capable of holding mental conversations with their human, and had their own instincts, it settled firmly on the side of human influence the most. Some of the conversations between wolf and human had a lightness and honesty reminiscent of best friends. At one point, Quinn's wolf says that "Some women collect shoes, we could collect men". Honestly, I approve of the comment and am definitely on the side of her wolf. Each character's POV truly had dual personalities, and I enjoyed this more lighthearted take on the shifter trope, even though the plot and action had depth and danger.
Speaking of depth and danger, I don't think I've hated a character quite so quickly as Jakob. This book isn't exceptionally long, and yet I was able to very quickly get a feel for each character without pages of backstory. Gamble was excellent and delineating between Mason and Ian even as pair of twins, and while the last 2 introduced men had typical wolf shifter personalities, the 3rd made me love him. There was a boyish innocence that peaked through, and is atypical for this genre and trope. The sweetness balanced out the growly protectiveness of the others, and after quite an epic cliffhanger, I'm excited to see what comes next.
I love a good shifter romance, so I couldn’t resist this book. Fated mates? Rejected mates? Perfect.
Firstly, I enjoyed the creativity of how this author interpreted mate bonds. The Luna of Cupid‘s Pack, and her daughter (the FMC), are able to dissolve and create mate bonds. I wish we had delved a little bit more into this, but I really liked this twist on the bonds.
The FMC rejects her very bad mate, and he doesn’t take it too well. However, as the story progresses she meets her other fated mates. I think they’re all a little confused about how she has this many mates and I’m interested to see if her potential role as the future Luna of the Cupid’s Pack may be the reason why.
To be honest, the characters didn’t stand out too much for me. A few of the men did mold together. Obviously, some insta love does happen, but they are fated mates so that’s just how it goes. I do like that the story and history of each of the mates is addressed and plays a role in how they treat the FMC and how they come into this relationship.
I actually did enjoy the story, but I felt that sometimes it was a little rushed. I would have loved to know more about the lore of the heart stones, how the Cupid’s Pack actually works, how the FMC does what she does, and a little bit more about this author’s spin on the shifter universe. It’s a fairly quick read and I finished it in one sitting, but these are just some things I think would’ve helped me enjoy the story even more.
The little twist at the end was unexpected and I’m looking forward to the next book to see the explanations of the above and what’s going to happen.
Quinn is the future Luna of the Cupid's Pack and a natural born matchmaker. While her calling is to help her fellow shifters find and connect with their fated mates, she's never experienced that connection for herself. Until the day her mate shows up but is the everything she'd never accept in a mate: violent, abusive and controlling. Why would fate curse her with such a mate, when her own purpose in life is to connect good a true mates? She rejects him on the spot but he's not about to take no for an answer, forcing her to run, for her life and her freedom. Along the way she discovers that fate has not abandoned her, as she discovers mate bonds with other, very different, but honorable men. What can multiple mates mean to her future and what does she need to do to make it safely back to her home to regain her birthright and destiny? This is a great first book in a new series. Quinn is full of love for her fellow shifters and enjoys her purpose in life. She's also not a pushover and has a lot of fire when pushing back against what she knows is wrong. She is also attracting mates like a flying to honey and after her first bad match, good for her! Her guys come to her from very different backgrounds but find common ground in their desire to love and protect her. Word of warning, this book does end in a very abrupt cliffhanger, but I can't wait for Book 2 to see what happens next. Definitely recommend.
I loved the multiple povs. It brought a great internal view if each character that opened up the story in a way that made me want to keep reading. I did find that the fmc was supremely innocent, naive and a bit ditzy. I wasn’t a huge fan of hers to be honest. Sure there was a few sex scenes but there is as no foreplay, and diving in without even playing down there on her first time felt a little off for me. Yes, they were both virgins but I dunno, I felt like the other bits of the book, the emotions and actions all felt natural. The sex scenes felt a bit rushed. Otherwise, the plot has promise. They did flail around for a good chunk of the book, crossing to different territories only to cut out short and head back. I’m interested to learn more about her reason on why she wanted to go back. There wasn’t much of a discussion, just the finality of what the plan was. I’d love to learn more about her role in Cupids pack, why her mother seems to be ditching her efforts only to send away the one support system that kept the place running. I loved how she made a name for herself, she’s very modest about her work and was embarrassed when she heard compliments on it. She seems to have fighting down pat, now she just needs to put Jacob the stalker in his place. Take over her mothers pack and unite everyone. I’m definetly interested in the next book and look forward to reading it.
"I never wanted to be the Red Ash Pack Alpha, but I'm going to take great pleasure in taking that from you. And you'll never have Quinn"
A fantastic first book in KG's new series The Heart Stone Pack - this rejected mates trope is coupled with our FMC being able to move on with new mate(s) all the while coming into her own and learning what love really is. This is a bit humorous considering that Quinn is from the infamous Cupids Pack where the Luna and Quinn (daughter of the Luna) are able to make new mate bonds and even break bonds.
With Quinn becoming an outcast from her own pack due to rejecting her mate she goes rogue and starts a journey that leads her into the path of several wolves that are ready to mark her as theirs. This book does leave us with a cliffhanger but it was done in a wonderful way - leaving us with the hankering for the next installment.
I absolutely adore each and everyone of Quinn's new mates. - Mason - hot twin #1 - Ian - hot twin #2 - Willem - sweet guy with an unexpected piercing - Sailor - bullheaded wolf with something to prove - Kristoffer - still a mystery - but appears to be worthy
A definite must read for anyone who enjoys a rejected mates trope or paranormal romance!
Things just keep getting more and more complicated for Quinn. Things are going alright at home with the Cupid Pack. Her mom hasn't been running things as well as she should be as the Luna since Quinn's father died, but Quinn has been picking up the slack for her. Buying groceries, helping around the pack, etc. As the heir to Cupid Pack, she also has a gift to help people with their mate bonds, either to find them a mate or break the bond in extreme cases. However, when a controlling, power-hungry alpha, Jakob, comes looking for a mate and finds he has a fated mate bond with Quinn, he demands she go with him. Sensing the cruelty in him, she refuses, and her mom threatens to kick her out of the pack. Bonds are sacred, and despite him being horrible, her mom is ashamed she'd reject the bond.
On the run, she finds other mates. She has no idea what's going on and why she seems to have multiple, but she knows she needs to focus on what to do about Jakob. He isn't taking no for an answer and appears to be willing to do anything it takes to make her his, even against her will.
This ends on a cliffhanger, so I'm diving in to book #2 now!
This was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know what to expect from this book as this is a relatively new authour to me, But I am really glad I read this. It's a unique concept within a familiar trope. Quinn Cassidy is the daughter of the Luna in her pack, her mother has the ability to form or even break mate bonds, and one day that is to be her position, but things take a turn and Quinn soon finds herself on the run from a mate bond she does not want. Thus begins her wild adventure where she learns more about herself and meets some very interesting people on her journey . I don't want to give too much away! I thought this was well written, it does pick up pace as the story progresses, but it feels fitting and doesn't deter the flow of the story. I thought the author did a great job pulling her readers in. I am really curious about quite a few things that were left for the next instalment ! I am enjoying the diverse characters we have met so far but I must say the ending left me feeling a little stressed! I am totally ready to read the next book!
The main female character in this story is Quinn, the eldest daughter of the Luna of Cupids pack. This pack is well known for finding the fated mate of unmated wolves but can also force a bond if both parties involved are willing as shifters by nature should not be alone. When a shifter turns up to take up this service and scents Quinn as his fated mate she has no alterative but to run as this man is an absolute abomination and it looks like her mother has every intention of handing her over! I really enjoyed this book, it isn't the typical storyline of rejected mates as in this it's the female that is doing the rejecting rather than the male. Quinn is really likeable and so confused when she starts finding more fated mates. The male characters are all swoon worthy, I especially liked the twins though I think Mason is my favourite. Bit of a cliff hanger at the end. That one word could have meant anything! Looking forward to finding out what exactly has happened in the next book
Cupid's Pack is the start of a new series about an fmc with a powerful destiny and her protective mates. Even though the story is totally original, the feelings I got while reading were quite similar to Tessa Hale's shifting fate series. I really think this is a perfect series for all the readers who loved it so much.
Quinn manages to surround herself with fated mates that are both cute and hot, and who are willing to do anything for their fated mate. I absolutely adored Willem; I just wanted to hug him and cuddle him, and never let him go. I think the past of her twin-mates was a nice little extra and I'll admit I absolutely didn't see mate five coming. It created a very interesting cliffhanger, and I'm curious to find out what will happen next.
Definitely an interesting start of a new series, and like I said; I think it's perfect for all Tessa Hale fans.
Cupid's pack what a name as you can guess this shifter book is all about bonds and matchmaking.
Meet Quinn a kind and passionate wolf who has a heart of gold and a spine of steel. Her mother is Luna of her pack and has the ability to make or break mate bonds.
When Quinn meets her first mate Jakob she rejects him which I personally can't blame her for as he seems like an alphahole. After rejecting the lovely (not) wolf she leaves even though she's leaving behind her sister.
With the heart stone guiding her Quinn finds herself in a very good position even I'm jealous, she meets not one but 2 men eeekkk twinssss Ian and Mason, then along come Willem, then if that's not enough meet Sailor who has his own demons he has to battle, and then finally kristoffer.
That ending scene poor Quinn lol I felt like she was treated like an award to be won.
What a great start to a new series!! I couldn't put it down once I started reading. Quinn is our fearless female MC- and boy is she in for the start of a journey and a half! In an instant, her whole world is tilted on its axis when her mother proves to be someone she can't count on. If only that were the only surprise to come 😉. Join in the adventure and discover all the exciting twists and turns along the way. There's action, adventure, sexy time, hot guys, twists and turns... and at the center if it all is our kind hearted, but strong, resilient, Quinn finding her way. Be warned...there's a massive cliffy at the end, but don't let that deter you. This book is really amazing! It's filled with fascinating characters and the start of one exciting journey. I for one can't wait to see what's up next in book two!! Go ahead and treat yourself.
This is a twist on rejected mates for me. Normally, the male rejects the female as he sees her as weak and below him. Here, Quinn, our FMC, is the one to do the rejecting - which goes down about as well as you might expect, especially as he turns out to be a bit of a jerk!
Since rejecting your mate isn't really the done thing in a pack known for their fated mates and matchmaking, she runs, and unexpectedly finds several new mates on the way.
As a first in series, this book does a great job of establishing the characters and the plot arcs, and I've got several questions I'm hoping to see answered by the end of the series!
Quinn is a gutsy heroine, wanting to fight for what she thinks is right, and her guys have all got distinct, and complimentary personalities.
This is a great start to the series, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the twists and turns we doubtless have to come!
Quinn, a hair stylist and heir apparent to the Cupid pack, finds her view of her life turned upside down and around, leaving her choices limited between a very pointy rock and an extremely hard place. As the story progresses she lets instincts guide, she gathers mates as she tries to hide, and they try to find a solution while time is not on their side. Cupid’s pack is an exciting start to a different kind of paranormal reverse harem read. Quinn and the men she starts to collect will have a fight ahead of them that they can’t afford to lose and I have to wonder what else the author has in store for them in the next book, especially with the cliffhanger the author leftat the end of this book.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
You are not ready for this cliff hanger so grab comfort food first as a heads up!
I'm just going to say it because you'll be thinking it to. I hate Jacob MacKay so badly!
I love Quinn she's absolutely amazing and her sense of colour choice I love it! Her sister makes me want to wrap her in bubble wrap and hug her so tightly if there's ever a spin-off it should be about her because she needs some love 😭 especially after the way her mum treats her! That just makes me angry but I also understand because her mum's heart broken but that's no excuse.
I am loving Mason, Willem, Ian, Sailor and Kristoffer through me the hell and oh my gods best surprise plot twist EVER!!!!!! And that ending about killed me! Like how dare you! That should be illegal and banned or something!
LOVED this idea of being cupids and their effect on the mate bonds! Quinn is such a selfless person and has everyone else's best interests at heart. I can imagine how she must feel about her own mating situation - it's got to be frightening and confusing and maddening! Thankfully the men in her life are just as nervous and are even more patient with her. I am curious how the next book is going to evolve. Now that we've met the harem, I'd love to see more spice! I am also really interested in the heart stones. I feel like there's so much more to them than we know. Really good read with lots of interesting characters. Most of all, I cannot wait to see the "villain" of the story get some cupid karma delivered fresh.
