As they are still in the school house with the GCMM and then Felicia was struggling to breathe because she drunk the wormwood water. They try to get them to learn about Jesus but if fearful of what Melinda can do. Judd then makes the cautious decision to shoot Melinda while, Felicia dies. The next day they do a make-shift funeral and gives Melinda life-or-death options. Then, she tells them that she'll never believe. Mr. Stein is going to Israel to the meeting of the witnesses and is very happy. Vicki and Melinda have a conversation about christianity. Melinda starts to open up to her about her life until she became a GCMM. Judd, Lionel, and Mr. Stein was told by Taylor Graham to go to a remote place guarded by a guard and make a runway and turn its lights on. On the plane they have a conversation with Taylor trying to get him to believe Jesus Christ. He remains stubborn and tells them he still wants to take out Carpathia. Vicki and the Crew while burying Felicia find something underground. Then, after being called back to the school house, they are suspected to be getting caught by someone. Judd and the crew talk to someone named Hasina who helps them book hotel rooms. She opens up to them about once again coming up against many christians telling her about Jesus Christ and rejected them and still rejects them, She says that she is against Nicolae Carpathia and is in deep dislike of him because of her fathers death. She says the only thing her mind is on is avenging it. Vicki's clan is talking to Zeke Jr about his rendition of "Pre-Rapture Life". He opens up about how he was finding secret passage ways and providing undercover christians with food. After having this conversation they find that Melinda had packed up and left. Judd's crew gets near the stadium and tries to find more Hotels but just like Jesus all the managers tell them "they have no room in the inns. Vicki finds Melinda near Felicia's grave and she cries. Mr. Stein and the clan went to the wailing wall and they heard something from the witnesses that is weird for them to say. They were found by a Hebrew man in the Garden of Gethsemane and were taken to an emergency shelter. Vicki and Mark have a big blow out about whether all the non-christians should stay. As everyone from around the world speaks in their own tongues praising God and the Meeting with the Witnesses starts to begin. As Tsion finishes his message GC leaders came. This includes, Leon Fortunato, Nicolae Carpathia, and Pontifex Peter. The stadium is quiet as they say things that we don't believe. They talked and asked for applause and standing ovation. As Taylor Graham shows up Judd tries to stop him from attempting to assassinate Carpathia. But, as Tsion helps unbelievers get saved by praying with him, a machine gun goes off. They are told to vacate the stadium but they didn't do it. In light of them not leaving Nicolae made a speech that was speaking against Christianity. He told them that he is accusing Tsion Ben-Judah of attempted murder of himself. Carpathia decided that they won't be able to see Dr. Ben-Judah. Mr. Stein and Lionel go to the Wailing Wall. The GC tells them that they are on house arrest and if found not where they were supposed to they will have to die. They followed the witnesses toward the Mount of Olives and guards try to kill them, but the witnesses engulf them with fire. As Tsion finishes his last sessions everyone goes upon to the stage and then a guard tells him that he is saved but as part as the GC they were getting read to shoot.

Things are gearing up for the Meeting of the Witnesses -- which Judd and Lionel have front seat access to, right there is Jerusalem.

Back at the Trib Force's hideout, the kids are discovering the historic uses of the tunnels beneath the ground. It's pretty cool!

These books are still terrible, but I feel obliged at this point to admit that they're not as terrible as the original series. The author--and I think we're talking Chris Fabry here, because I can kind of recognize Jenkins' writing at this point--is making a genuine effort to deal charitably with objections to the theology depicted herein, and in many cases correct some of the deficiencies of the originals. Characters can disagree in good faith, and they're not all locked in this weird technological power fantasy. I still wouldn't recommend these books, but I find them...interesting.
