Let’s just say this book is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ if you want a enforcer who is big strong rich with super powers to save you over and over and be your big protector that saves you from your horrid life and can even order food for you with his big manly arms and other things 🍆😛… this one is
For you. If you like a story with major drama and then heck ya we have crazy Sex somehow yep u might like this :) I’ll be honest there were times were I was like why am I reading this help me help me book but well I needed to know the ending and well I have started the next one In this series. Truthfully my biggest complaint besides yeah there is no way in the real world u would be have some relations after some of their situations and if you do I might need to ask you about it lol :) It is the consistent use of the word ERM … what does that even mean ? It drives me crazy but whatever books good enough to ignore it :)

I just finished reading Book 1 'Ward's Siren' & Book 2 ‘Eden’s Enforcer’ of Lost Siren Series by Stephanie Hudson and they were GREAT 🤩! (FYI, I’m not affiliated with the author, not in the book biz, reading is just a HOBBY, and I’m just a regular reader that is super passionate 💗 about spreading the word on GREAT books!) There are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻
OK ✅! So the VERY first 👆🏻thing to mention is… if you LOVE ❤️ Afterlife, your gonna LOVE ❤️ these two books! And VERY next 👉🏻 thing to mention is… you DO NOT have to read ANY OTHER Stephanie Hudson book before this one if you don’t want to (but I’ll definitely give more info about this here in a min 😁!). Annnnnd… with that, the LAST ✋🏻 crucial piece of info you should know is… these are relatively short books (compared to her other books 😉) AND the story of each couple wraps up in TWO books! So there will be 22 books total, with two books focusing on a different romantic couple 👏🏻!
Alright, now that super important info is taken care of 😆… I really enjoyed these two books 🥳! Most people know that Afterlife Saga is LITERALLY my favorite series of ALL TIME 🕰 because I’m such a HUGE fan of the DRAMA 🎭 & the Alphaholes 🥵 that Stephanie Hudson EXCELS at! So because of this, these two books were SUPER NOSTALGIC for me and it was really FREAKIN’ COOL 😎 to walk into Afterlife again & run into some oldies-but-goodies 🙌🏻! But GOOD NEWS 👍🏻, the author wrote this in such a way that you really don’t have to read Afterlife first! But again, I’ll break that down here in two shakes 🤝 of a tail feather 🪶😆!
The story starts off with an independent 20 something year old data analyst (who is literally living in her car & has lost everything after being taken advantage of by someone she trusted!,) being BROKEN DOWN on the side of the road ... and wouldn't you know who pulls up in his SE❌Y A$S car with his SE❌Y A$S self 🔥🔥🔥! Talk about a DAMSEL in DISTRESS, y'all! 😍😍😍 So yep! Our girl is on her way to AFTERLIFE to get some help against some human mobster types from DOMINIC DRAVEN 😈 himself… to only run into one of his HOT 🥵 ENFORCERS first!
So the really cool thing is this book kicks into gear pretty dang quickly 👏🏻! This is not one of the longer books by Steph with all of the descriptive world 🌎 building thrown into play (although there is definitely world building in this book… and in some ways, more is explained about the Afterlife universe too 🙌🏻!) And this leads me to explain why you may or may not want to read this before Afterlife!
The plotline in this book takes place at the SAME TIME as Afterlife Book 1 🤯! It literally is just when the Afterlife FMC arrives in the USA 🇺🇸 and things are JUST starting to get cookin’ 👨🏻🍳 with her & her man 🥵! So really no spoilers happen in these two books 👏🏻! All of Stephanie Hudson books are ‘Fated Mates 💘’ tropes… so it’s not like you don’t know that the FMC is going to end up with the MMC 🤪😂! So not much of a spoiler there, folks! In ‘Ward’s Siren,’ the mystery 🕵️♀️ of Afterlife & Dominic Draven is explained relatively swiftly. Whereas in the book ‘Afterlife,’ it’s a BIG mystery 🔎 as we learn about the world at the same time as the FMC in Afterlife does 🤗! Things like… what’s the deal with this nightclub 💃🕺🪩 🍺🍷 called Afterlife? 🧐 What’s the deal with the owners of said club?? 🧐🧐 What’s up with all of this weird a$s sh!t the FMC is seeing & experiencing??? 🧐🧐🧐
So ‘Afterlife’ is like a slow entry into the world with tidbits being unfolded one DELECTABLE morsel 🍫 at a time! And ‘Ward’s Siren’ is like… “YO! This is the straight up deal-ee-oh! 🤘🏻” But the thing is! Some readers LOVE 😍 one approach and some LOVE 😍 the other (for example, I prefer MYSTERY 🔎, whereas one of my book besties just NEEDS TO KNOW RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND WHAT IS UP… *cough *cough, you know who you are girl 🤣🤣🤣!) So the good news… the GREAT news in fact… is you can’t go wrong with either approach! They are both FANTASTIC in their own way! So read whichever you want to first 🥳!!!
‘Ward’s Siren’ & ‘Eden’s Enforcer’ are really a GREAT 🤩 way to sample what Stephanie Hudson books are allllllllll about with ONLY a very small 🤏🏻 investment of time needed (if you have never read one before, that is!) These two books have the DOMINANT 💪🏻 , PROTECTIVE ⚔️, HOT 🥵 ALPHAHOLE 😠 MMC, the damsel-in-distress but BRAVE 🛡 FMC, the Dom/Sub STEAM 🌶, the supernatural 👹 😇 🧛♂️ 🧜♀️ flare, and the cinematic 📺 DRAMA 🎭 (seriously, any of her books could be made into TV series 🙌🏻!) I really think this author is just getting better & BETTER 👍🏻 with every book that she writes 👏🏻! In particular, writing-style-wise, I really loved 💜 how quickly this story kicked into gear, how short the chapters are, and the melodrama of the conclusion of each chapter! And although I love her long, detailed & complicated series in this universe (LAWDY we all know that I do by now 😅)… this series is like a COOL 🌬 glass of water 💦 on a HOT summer ☀️ day! Just a nice REFRESHING change of pace & oh so DELICIOUS 😋!
So if you like HOT 🥵 ALPHAHOLES that are DOMINANT 🪢 inside & outside the bedroom 😁😁, FMC’s that need saving, but also like to do the saving sometimes 💪🏻, STEAM 🔥 with a smidge of BDSM, and I mustn’t forge the “I will BURN the world down for you 😡!!!” kinda DRAMA 🎭 … give this a shot 🎯 ! 'Ward's Siren' Book 1 & ‘Eden’s Enforcer’ Book 2 of Lost Siren Series by Stephanie Hudson

The writing is still terrible, but I will not deny that the plot is plotting. If the author would get a really good editor, this would be 4-5 stars. It’s creative and fun. Would probably have more to say if it didn’t take so much brain power to ignore all the “but”, “then” and all the “!?!?!”’s.

This is the follow up to Ward’s Siren and it seriously didn’t even feel like the same two MC’s. Something was missing. Eden was still ridiculously stupid and I didn’t find her naivety forgivable this time.
The idea that she legit didn’t listen to him (repeatedly but especially at the restaurant) knowing there are other-worldly demon-ish creatures trying to kill her but OH NO....she’s going to just defy his request to go… I mean, >>>>I<<<< wanted to bitch slap her!
The idea that she'd been kidnapped, roughed up, threatened with sexual assault, knocked unconscious, having vomited and was talking about the stench but.... he comes to her rescue and then they nearly died in a building but a) she's going to make out and b) she wants to grind on him until she OOOOOO's, too, was fucking bizarre and out of place. Maybe if she actually were embracing her darkness I could see this weird kink but she’s NOT that so this was totally out of character and weird. Oh, and brush your teeth cause f'n ewwww.

🫤 Some of the sentence structure was WTFish. Yes, that’s a real term. I just made it up. Just like the syntax used in the book…. Made up and cringe worthy.
🫤 Stuff like this: “It was like a wall of death as it hit into each of the men, despite most of them being dead.” Does that REALLY make any sense?
🫤 Or… “...completing morning business without flushing so as not to wake him.” WHY do we need the details of you not flushing the toilet you nasty little twerp. Flush the damn toilet. Or, better yet, keep your bodily functions to yourself. Or him mentioning farting… ? is that supposed to make him sound more human? I don’t know. Like I said, this was way off to me.

I mean, can you imagine talking to a freaking BEING that’s as old as creation itself and expecting them to be as stupid as you simply because they have a means to deliver their message without sounding like a total fucking buffoon, unlike yourself. Still, it made me laugh. But the sheer stupidity of the FMC and the ridiculous drivel she would speak made me want to punch myself in the face sometimes.

In the Sirens series, always two books belong together, each telling the story of a Siren-Enforcer-couple. While there is a backstory that spans over all books, it can be skipped. It's also not necessary to read the Afterlife series beforehand.
#1 Ward's Siren and #2 Eden's Enforcer tells Ward's and Eden's story. It's written in dual POV, which works well here. Ward very quickly accepts his fate at his siren's side. Eden is literally overwhelmed by his dominance. He `s all consuming ... - Her soul, her body, and her mind.. - It`s all his (And boy, he's hot as hell. lol). The beautiful thing about Eden is that she doesn't let herself be intimidated and still expresses her own will. This is very refreshing.
But there are also enemies who are up to no good and underpin the plot with fast-paced action.
All in all, these two books are well rounded, so that they can certainly be read as a stand-alone.

Ok. Now I get it! So you do need to read Book1 before this installment. The end of this story introduces the next enforcer. Each Enforcer and Siren will get their story told all coming to a conclusion at the Summer Solstice? At that time, if they are the true Sirens and are claimed in the ceremony by their fated then they may get their wings and powers back. Until then, it is a race to prevent the nasties from blocking that fate because of past/present infighting.
For Eden and Ward, I felt this second book put things more in perspective and had a satisfying end..though it isn't really the end..because if for some reason Eden is NOT fated to Ward, then they are in big trouble!!!

Brilliant
Just like all her other books, brilliant. She has made a while load of spin offs from Afterlife and this is one of the great ones, they are all great, but haven't read them yet, an trying to catch up lol. If you haven't read Transfusion series, or the Hell king 👑 series, those to see deffo worth readin. Anything from this Author is worth reading. Raw, sexy but not over the top, and just reading them just puts you there in your mind. Another fantastic soon off Stephanie Hudson, Keep up the good work doll, can't wait to keep reading. These books could last my life time lol. And someone who makes up men like Draven in your mind definitely deserves a good star 🌟 from me. X x

{42} Eden’s Enforcer (Lost Siren’s series book 2) by Stephane Hudson is a 5 ⭐️ read.
Eden has been kidnapped by Gomez the guy who her brother owes money to, he sets off bombs for Ward and Deke so Eden thinks they’re both dead and doesn’t care what happens to her, but it takes more than a man made bomb to stop an Angel of Vengeance and fear.
Ward needs help to get back his siren so he goes to the New York enforcer Wrath. When Ward, Wrath and his men show up to get Eden they’re outnumbered but it’s not like they’re normal humans.
I really enjoyed part two of this series and am looking forward to book 3.

I just can not get enough of Stephanie Hudson’s books and this latest series does not disappoint. Eden and Wards story is just as amazing as the rest. Even though we get to meet them and the majority of their story is covered by these two books there is defo no lacking in detail, action, drama or steamy scenes. There are no ends to Steph’s talents - the books can be read independent of the main sagas but they do link in to them and provide additional details, they also Segway nicely in to the next book in the siren series. I have read the next book and am just eagerly awaiting the following. We are so lucky with how fast Steph writes… I don’t know any other author that would put out 4 books in one month!!!!

OK... so I love Ward!
Ward has truly become one of my favorite male characters! The second book of Ward and Eden's story was absolutely amazing. The story line picked up immediately where it left off in book one and was action packed with minimal Afterlife interference of first book.
We got to meet new, fascinating characters and it gave me the HEA that I desire in a good romance. This book was the perfect segue into the next adventure. I am looking forward to continuing the series and seeing what's in store for Kaiden Wrath as he finds his Siren. On to the next book!

A must read
The second book was just amazing as the first book, if you love supernatural books you will love these. Stephanie Hudson is a fantastic writer and has an amazing imagination which is why all her books are a must read. The love these two have is amazing and also the comments they have for each other is really funny at times but I love how Stephanie describes every character in the book brilliant. From the evil to the good guys it will have you on the edge of your seat.

Wow what a read, honestly I love this world, Afterlife is an amazing series but to get all these spin offs is brilliant and Eden and Ward’s story is great. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next.
Love the story, plot and the characters are brilliant. Loads of steamy scenes, loads of romantic scenes, some graphic fight scenes, and scenes of abuse. I love how these giant demons and angels come together for a common goal. I’d highly recommend this series, especially if you’re already an Afterlife lover.

Packed from beginning to end with everything we have come to expect from Stephanie but as usual it has more.
I couldn’t put this book down.

fantastic
I'm a huge lover of the afterlife series and some of the spin offs so I was shocked when these popped up on my kindle.
absolutely loved the first two books, loved the leads and she is so unlike the afterlife heroine, she is a gritty character, who can stand her own, is funny and likeable, going straight on to read the next in the series, which the blurb says it'd about new people which I am happy about, dragging storylines out needlessly is a pet peeve of mine.

This is book two and the wrapping up of Eden and Ward’s story together. There was so much action packed in this book two. It seems that danger followed Ward and Eden. We get to see a little siren power at the end. Also Kaiden and Halsen Wraith, brothers and enforcers for King Dreven, come through to help Ward when his siren is snatched. There is a happy ending. Read On!

Good Read
This book is the conclusion to Ward and Eden’s story and picks up in the aftermath of the last book. This book is full of action and romance as Eden adjusts to life with Ward. I really enjoyed the story and it felt like there was more going on in the background than what was revealed. I still have a few questions left unanswered and I hope that the next few books will provide those answers.

almost as good
I’m not sure what happened between the first book and this one but it seemed to lose its energy. Also, the scene between Ward and his king at the end felt like, if not was, word for word what was said in the story prior, when Eden had left the club the first time. Because of this weird disconnect I had to give the story 4 stars instead of 5.

always the best!
I fell in love with Stephanie’s books not even a full year ago. Starting with Transfusion. I have now read everything she has wrote. Ward and Eden are wonderful. The story is funny, sad, surprising. Everything all her other books are as well. Now on to the next two books..

Couldn't put it down. Finished it in a day. Now I'm on book of the Lost Siren series. There is so much reality given to these stores, it's hard not to be drawn into them.
Stephanie Hudson is extremely talented with her novels. I'm going to end up reading all of them. She is becoming one of my favorite authors.

Amazing!

Another strong hero and heroine
This was a fast and enjoyable read, getting to see Ward and Edie grow together. Love Stephanie bringing Afterlife and Draven into the story if only for a cameo appearance. Recommended and going to read kaidan story next😁

That’s right Eden hold on to your man girl!!!! She’s blind to the problems she can cause by not listening. However she’s willing to go down with her man. I’m sure after being handled like that in the bedroom I’d run into the fire 🔥 with gasoline underwear on to !!!!
