Lost Siren #3

Wrath's Siren

Rate this book
Writing down your dreams…that sounded pretty harmless right?
Turned out, I was sort of good at it.
Turned out, it made a good book.

Because who knew you could make money from writing about the man of your dreams.
Who knew it would pay to fantasize about a fictional character you had fallen in love with.
But most of all, who knew that one day a set of doors would open, and you would find out that he wasn't fictional at all.

That he was real.

I had no idea writing could be so dangerous but then when you’re writing about a Demonic Overlord, an Enforcer named Kaiden Wrath, then anything was possible.
Like dreaming of him in trouble and knowing you’re the only one who knew how to save him. The only one who can save the Demon you are obsessed with.
Now all I had to do, was find him and then quickly save myself from…

A Demon’s Wrath.

Liked the series but...

...please, ditch the word 'hence'. Its repetitive use seriously damaged my psyche. How about 'so' or 'thus ' or even therefore? Hence 3 stars not 4!

I finished reading Book 3 'Wrath's Siren' & Book 4 ‘Emme’s Enforcer’ of Lost Siren Series by Stephanie Hudson and they were GREAT 🤩! (FYI, I’m not affiliated with the author and there are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻)

Guyyyys … so I think I actually liked these BETTER than Books 1 & 2 👏🏻👏🏻… and I wrote an Emoji Review for Books 1 & 2 because I really liked those 🙌🏻! So this is saying something 😀! But there is just something EXTRA ❤️ GREAT about these two books! Stephanie hit a homerun AGAIN!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Ok, so these two books have a really COOL 😎 plotline! It starts off with an ADORABLE 😍 FMC! She’s funny 😝 and goes to a wedding 💒 where yep, she stumbles into WRATH 🥵 (we met this hubba hubba 🔥 at the end of Book 2!) But it quickly becomes apparent that this is NO ORDINARY plot with a FATED MATE 💘 Meet Cute! This is like a “book within a book”… and very nostalgic 😍 to Afterlife!

So you know how in the Scream 😱 🔪 movies there is sort of a “movie within a movie” feel? Like, they are making a movie within a movie? Well this sort of has that feel going on 👏🏻!! Except with it being a “book within a book!” It’s hard to describe without giving away spoilers, but let me just tell you that it was SUPER UNIQUE 👆🏻 and I haven’t read anything like it before 😲! It made me really, really HOOKED on Book 3 in particular as all of this was unfolding 👏🏻! The DRAMA 🎭 , as always with Stephanie Hudson, was SUPERB 🤌🏻 💋!

I really liked the FMC… she just made me chuckle 🤭 and was just super ADORABLE 😍! And the MMC was… yeah, you guessed it… an ALPHAHOLE 😆! But a HOT 🥵 one at that 🔥🔥🔥! He is what this author is FAMOUS 🏆 for writing! He’s a bit of a head nod to Dominic Draven 😈 in Afterlife too and I am here for it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (although let’s be honest ✌🏻, I’ll always be TEAM LUCIUS 🥵 … although I might jump on the JARED train 🚂 cause like… NOM 😋 NOM 😋 NOM 😋!) Anyways, I digress 😂!

Basically, I LOVE ❤️ EVERYTHING that Stephanie Hudson writes …so yeah totally check this series out! Oh 🤚🏻! And you DO NOT have to read Afterlife or any of her other series before ‘The Lost Siren 🧜‍♀️’ series! She’s written this series to be pretty stand alone from her other series! Every two books in ‘The Lost Siren 🧜‍♀️’ series is centered around one romantic 💘 couple, so you get a complete HEA 💜 with each set of two books! I will say though that if you end up reading Afterlife and LOVE ❤️ it… these books are SUPER nostalgic to it! But on the other hand 👋🏻, if you want to try some of her books without a great investment of time ⏰ (as all of her series are A LOT of books 📚)… this series is a GREAT 👍🏻 way to dip your toes 🦶🏻 into her books (but you DO need to read the books in this series IN ORDER & this review is for Books 3 & 4!)

So if you like HOT 🥵 alphaholes that are dominant inside & outside the bedroom 🛌 , FMC’s that need saving but also like to do the saving, a pretty COOL 😎 , unique ‘book within the book’ plotline, and ‘I will BURN 🔥 the world down for you’ kind of DRAMA 🎭 … give this a shot! It’s FREE on KU and you never know, it may just SING 🧜‍♀️ to you!

Here's some key elements!
🧜‍♀️ Paranormal Romance (takes place in our modern world, aka, same world as Afterlife!)
🧜‍♀️ F/M
🧜‍♀️ Same couple every two books in the series
🧜‍♀️ Fated Mate 💘 trope
🧜‍♀️ Angels 😇, Demons 👹, Vampires 🧛‍♂️, and Sirens 🧜‍♀️!
🧜‍♀️ Modern writing style ✍️
🧜‍♀️ Two POVs in the 1st person: FMC and MMC
🧜‍♀️ VERY DOMINANT Male (this guy is similar to Dominic Draven y'all and I just love him 🥵🥵🥵)
🧜‍♀️ Starts off with an ADORABLE 😍 FMC!
🧜‍♀️ EXTREMELY NOSTALGIC to Afterlife (if you LOVED Afterlife ... YOU WILL LOVE THIS! But you DO NOT have to read Afterlife first! You do, however, need to read ‘The Lost Siren 🧜‍♀️’ series in order and this is books 3 &4!)
🧜‍♀️ Takes place at the same time as Afterlife Book 1 (Kiera literally just came over ✈️ from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to live with her sister while this book's plotline is going on!)
🧜‍♀️ We get to meet up with some oldies-but-goodies from Afterlife 🙌🏻!
🧜‍♀️ THERE IS STEAM 🔥!
🧜‍♀️ THIS has the DRAMA 🎭 that Stephanie Hudson is FAMOUS for!
🧜‍♀️ Romantic HEA by the end of Book 4
🧜‍♀️ Wrath’s Siren has 690+ ratings with close to 5 Stars (at time I wrote this!)
🧜‍♀️ Emme’s Enforcer has 1,125+ ratings with close to 5 Stars (at time I wrote this!)

Wrath will be done.

Another hit for Stephanie that is for sure!! If you thought Ward was good, and trust me I did, then Wrath is a whole other level!! Sexy, brooding, smouldering heat and none of it is due to him being a demon.

Let's meet Emmerline, Emmie to her friends, a sweet endearing five foot nothing woman. She's curvy, funny and at the age of 27 years, still an innocent virgin. Or as Wrath puts it, and so did Ward, an untried pure. Just how every girl wants to be asked lol 😏😏

She's a author who has written several books, but has only published the first book a little under a year earlier. These books are based on her dreams and are centred around a demon, who has found his siren.

The book is called, "Wrath's Siren," and is about, you guessed it, Kaiden Wrath!! The siren however, is called Raina....yeah you thought it was going to be Emmerline didn't you 😋😋

While at a wedding, she gets on an elevator and finds herself in front of none other than Wrath and his brother Helmer. Now she realises that her dreams of the demon brothers, and others in her book, which she knows are members of his council, her life, should they find out about her book, will be forfeited. No mortals who know of their world are allowed to live and she not only knows about their world, but has written a book about it!!

So now she's on the run, terrified and with nowhere to run too.

Trust me this book is great and buying it will be the best thing you've done. However, let's not forget about the audio....

Amanda Stribling and Lance Greenfield are again the narrators for this book, and again they're pretty good, with one huge exception. Neither do a British accent!!

As Emmerline is apparently from Manchester, England, you'd expect, if not a Manchurian accent, then at the very least a British accent and there just isn't one at all. As a proud British woman, from Nottinghamshire....which isn't that far real!y from Manchester....I found myself a little disappointed, if not slightly annoyed that neither, when narrating the parts of Emmerline and Mark, her best friends brother, even bothered to ensure the parts are spoken with the correct accent!!

As I said, as narrators they're pretty good, but the majority of this book is the narrative of a Manchurian woman, hence every chapter of Emmerline should NOT have an American accent at all, except while doing everyone else's parts!! These chapters are spoken in the first person, so this really is an important factor.

So when it comes to recommending either, my answer would be a definite yes for the book, but an absolutely not on the audio!! Unless you do not care that it's all done in an American accent, in which case yes go for it. As for myself, I had unfortunately bought all four audios at the same time I bought the books 😵😵🤐🤐🤷🤷

Introducing: Kaiden Wrath. My Lordt...

Kaiden Wrath had me from the moment he stepped on page and saved Eden for Ward in Eden's Enforcer. I loved him from jump-street. I even liked Emmeline. Together, they were a very funny couple!

I wish so much that I could give this book five stars. Unfortunately, I cannot. Because the plot of this book had to be one of the silliest, most preposterous stories that I have ever read. I think they did this couple a huge disservice by giving them such a ridiculous plot for their story. I won't give away any spoilers, but I'll just say that it's a good thing I enjoyed Wrath from the last book in this series. Because this weak plot would have made me give up on this book.

Be advised, this is a slow burn. If you're looking for hot love scenes, you won't find it in this book. All you'll receive is soaked crotches and heavy grinding of genitals. As I said before, its a good thing I loved the MMC from the last book.

Since I've come this far, I might as well continue on. On to book four! I really hope it picks up and gets better in the last book of the series.

Happy reading!

{43} Wrath’s Siren (Lost Siren’s book 3) by Stephanie Hudson is a 5 ⭐️ read.
I just finished this book and already want to go read it again but I’m going to wait until the weekend just before the next book releases.
Emme has been dreaming of Wrath and his siren for 6 years and she wrote a book about it but she didn’t believe it was real until she bumped into him in an elevator at her best friends wedding, she decides to delete the book and go on the run so they can’t find out who she is until a dream of Wrath in danger sends her to New York to find his brother so he can save him, she just doesn’t expect what happens next.
Wrath is in trouble, he’s found out another enforcer is a traitor but he’s helpless to do anything about it as he’s wrapped in chains, that keep his demon at bay and buried alive, his brother manages to save him with Emme’s help before a building is built in top of him. The tiny woman who risked everything to save him has him and his demon convinced she’s his “one” but it’s going to take a lot to convince her.
I highly recommend this series

Emmeline is a writer who suddenly believes the "characters" from her books have come to life! Her dreams led her to write the story of Wrath and his Siren - Raina (Emme being the opposite of the beautiful, strong, brave Siren but wishing she was really Wrath's love). She now finds herself closed in an elevator with a bunch of huge men that are the exact incarnation of her book/dream characters! How is this possible?
Seeing as SHE wrote the stories, she knows that exposing their kind to humans is a major no-no, so, of course, Emme runs! Until she has another dream...this one of Wrath buried alive by an enemy Enforcer!
Emme finds herself in a major dilemma, but how can she NOT try to save the Enforcer she has grown to love in her dreams - a man fated to another - even if it means her own demise.
Stephanie really knows how to reel a reader into a storyline. I could not put it down and was left with an "Aw, come on!" moment at the end. I knew it must be coming but still! Those darn FATES!

In the Sirens series, always two books belong together, each telling the story of a Siren-Enforcer-couple. While there is a backstory that spans over all books, it can be skipped. It's also not necessary to read the Afterlife series beforehand.

#3 Wrath`s Siren and #4 Emme`s Enforcer tells Kaiden and Emme`s story. It's written in dual POV, which works well here. Their story is my favorite in this series so far.
Kaiden and his brother Hel(mer) are somewhat reminiscent of Jared and Orthrus (from the Hellbeast series). Hel, the voice of reason, and Kaiden, the quick-firing and impulsive fuse.

Emme's fictional novel dream man (Kaiden) suddenly becomes real here, plunging Emme into an emotional chaos that gradually develops into a nightmare.... - "Letting go of someone out of love" turns out to be a horror scenario in which both suffer. Add to that negative external forces; and you're plunged into a downward spiral that pulls the rug out from under your feet.

An impulsive action and the possessive nature of a demon turn out here - fortunately - to be a savior for a HEA.

What can I say? Kaiden's and Emme's story is another wonderful story. It's so hard putting a book down when you are invested in the characters. Hel is just too funny, always poking fun of Kaiden. Tristan, can't wait for his siren to show up.

In this story, Kaiden is put in mortal danger. If it wasn't for Emme special gift of dreaming about him and knowing how to find him, he would have a been a goner. Her battle is trying to get to Hel in New York to go and get him. Then she has to do her best to keep her secret so Kaiden can find his fated Mate and be happy. All at the cost of her heart. But, loving someone is to see them happy, and she thinks that Raina is the one to do it.

This is a wonderful story and I can't seem to stop reading. From one chapter to the next, I can't stop tuning the pages to find out how things work out for these two.

Wow, I’m loving this series which ties in with Afterlife. Emme has been dreaming of all things Kaiden Wrath for 6 years but thinking he was a fictional person, which was now part of a book she’d written and published, but fate has other ideas and brings Emme face to face with the demon himself starting a rollercoaster of events that lead her down a difficult path but will it be her HEA or heartbreak?
Great plot and story, I like how Emme already knew so much about the supernatural world thanks to her dreams, the characters were amazing. Loads of angst, some very cute moments and a few hot ones, the banter between Emme and the other characters is great. Shocking ending so can’t wait to continue this read, highly recommend

Fab story

I absolutely loved this story about author Emmie who wrote about Wrath and his world. It took her six years to finish the book and she has been dreaming about him all that time too. She had a lonely existence with her demonic cat Roger. Emmie desperately wanted someone like Wrath in her life.

She attends her friend's wedding and comes face-to-face with someone who looks exactly like Wrath and his brother. They even use the names she created for them. What is going on?!

She returns home then dreams about him again. This time he is captured and burried under ground. She wakes and realised that she needs to free him so he can meet his fated Siren.

What happens next is a strange, got tale where fiction becomes reality.

Kaiden is found with human help!

This is book three in the series of lost sirens for the enforcers. The storyline is complex in the fact that Emme is a writer who has been dreaming of Kaiden Wraith for years. She thought this was all part of her imagination. So picture getting on an elevator with your fantasy demon Viking and his brother from your own story. So shocking! That is what happened to Emme. She knew about Kaiden disappearing as well and felt determined to help save him. Emme loves Kaiden from afar but is also trying to help find his Siren. This ends in a cliffhanger. Read On!

Bloody Brilliant

Oh Wrath.
Wow. What can I say. I needed to know what happened to this hunk. Stephanie has me hooked again.
Emme has had dreams of Wrath for so long. She published her first book all about him. He has been on her mind constantly. She has literally fallen in love with her own fictional character. Or so she thinks he is fictional. Until that day she gets in the lift and bang. He’s there. He’s real and OMG he’s huge and oh so lush. Let the fun begin.
I couldn’t put this book down. AMAZING
I’m onto the next book now. Can’t wait.

OMG! I Love These Characters!

Fear can take away what is there waiting for us and destroy everything. Emmeline Raidne dreams of Kaiden Wrath her Demon like she is there, yet it is another woman's face she see in this dream. Six years of loving someone, that can't ever be hers. This story made me laugh and made me cry. It made me hope that thing would go in Emmeline's way. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. A must read.

As always...on the edge of my seat

Will they...won't they? Heat between characters and much humor. I literally laughed out loud to my husband saying "what?" at a few scenes. She is a master at twists and the end was a doozy. This is part of a series so while you may want to jump in...go back to the beginning with Afterlife. You'll thank me later.

Wrath, Oh My

Loved this books so much. Emmeline is so dam funny and her interactions with Wrath is cute, sexy, and I want so much more.

Also, their chemistry is off the charts and his possessiveness for his siren makes his Demon barely holding on.

This books ends with a cliffhanger and I’m so glad I can jump right into the next book.

Another great book by Stephanie Hudson. I wasn’t sure if this series would live up to the Afterlife series, however, I’m loving it.

Seriously though what an ending, how can you do that to us 😩😩. I’m so glad I already have the next one as there is no way I could wait.

Loving Wrath and Emme and I’m away now to continue their story.

Good Read

Another good instalment in the Lost Siren series, this book follows Wrath and Emme as Emme steps in to rescue Wrath after he is kidnapped by an enemy. I enjoyed reading this book, the story was good and I really liked the characters. The book ended on a cliffhanger that I wasn’t expecting and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story plays out in the next book.

Teeny, tiny heroines!

Being only 5ft myself, I do love it when the women in these stories are tiny, too! This episode of the saga is very bittersweet as I really felt for Emme feeling less than. It's a dreadful way to be & I think that too many women feel like this. I'm hoping Kaiden comes good for her, she deserves it.

The Characters Makes the Books

Wrath's Siren, book 3 of the Lost Siren series is full of amazing characters. Wrath is the enforcer for Draven. He like the rest of the enforcer are prophesied to find the lost Sirens, their fated mates. Wrath's story will keep you hanging in to your seat, laughing and holding your breath.

Definitely not my kind of story. Emme’s inability to see herself as the siren in the book was aggravating af. Halfway through, I honestly skipped the rest, only reading bits and pieces. I will read the fourth book and hope it’s better.
