Discovering you had a soul match was incredibly rare. It meant finding your perfect partner for life. Whether through the bonds of friendship, family or romance, it was a promise that if both halves of the soul matched so wished, love like no other would blossom.
A soul match was nothing more than a fantasy for most. That’s what half-witch Percy Flores had believed until her soul match arrived unannounced in the form of a vampire princess, Selene Borealis, forever altering her life.
Selene doesn’t want a soul match in the form of low-born Percy. If not for a mysterious enemy threatening her future throne, she would never have sought her out.
Now out of place, far from home, and desperately trying to form a bond with her soul match, Percy must contend with an at times cruel and sadistic Mistress while navigating a new world full of high-born nobles and very real danger.

There simply isn't enough lesbian paranormal/fantasy romance fiction in the world. So, I write my own.
I'm a woman in my late 20's embracing my love of writing and story telling. I've only recently began to share my writing and published my first novel in April 2022.
A tale of dominant vampires and submissive half-breed... The setting is quite original for that type of story, though, and makes it a blend of fantasy, BDSM and Harry Potter ( well, same kind of universe as HP, really). I read it to the end, which means I found the characters interesting enough to "ignore" the typos, the lack of correct punctuation, and the "you can address me as "My Royal Highness", which is really, really grating. It has potential, but it needs either a top-notch beta reader who can help with the language or an editor.
I hate when the first review is negative. Ignore the remark about the grammar and punctuation being so bad that you can’t read it. Because that was absurd.
The book was so well written, and definitely a page turner. I love a book I just can’t put down. I definitely need the Princess to hurry up and tell Percy she loves her, and allow Percy to call her Selene.
I love the dynamics between Percy and Selene. The hot and cold really works with this book . If you’re thinking about not reading this book, you are definitely mistaken and will not regret the time to read it.
Great job, Author. I can’t wait to see what you come out with next!
This book needs some trigger warnings. Sexual assault references? Physical abuse from one’s partner, the list goes on, I eventually had to put the book down when there was a part romanticizing physical beatings leading into forced sex. Yeah no something very wrong with this book
I started this book with low expectations, and the first few pages were about what I was expecting. But once you get past the initial cringe, there's so much about this book that is worth reading. I enjoy Percy so much because even though she is very submissive and allows the Princess to pretty much do whatever you her, she's no shrinking violet. She knows what she wants and as time goes on she learns not to be afraid to ask for it. There is some pretty great character development and story building here, with a full cast of characters to love and hate. Definitely giving a go if you like vampire romances and Dom/sub type relationship dynamics. I sure enjoyed it.
my god this book really was bad. filled with errors and toxicity and mary sueism to a degree even i couldn't really forgive. the sex bored me too. i was hoping for something that didn't have such a simpering protagonist.
It’s like stuff happened but also didn’t happen at the same time Their love just wasn’t believable It’s like the author wanted to write vampire smut, and THEN decided to write a story around it
Same premise as Ariel Marie's Deadly Kiss. The MC is matched, by blood to a vampire royal as their soul mate. Except in this one the princess is a completely unlikable asshole.
Writing is ROUGH. Needs an editor. Pretty often that I have to reread a sentence because the way it's written is confusing. Also, sometimes the dialogue will have stuff (in brackets). Does this mean they're saying it as like an aside? Are they saying it out loud? Confusing.
Also, I get that it's part of the soul-mate genre. But I despise body betrayal. The Princess literally treats her like she's a slave/subhuman (holy racism much?) and Percy feels attraction towards her? Like girl what? This woman literally forced you through threat of death to come be her literal sex/blood slave, constantly demeans you and calls you a filthy mongrel, and you want to give her pretty flowers and fawn over her? Yikes. Really wish the story spent some more time developing the relationship before instantly making Percy fall for her.
Basically, found it hard to enjoy a romance book based on the premise of a girl falling for her abuser.
i mean it was magic college sapphic vampire porn with little to no editing, i got what i signed up for but it's a published rough draft essentially. i kind of loved how little percy cared about ethics or morals she was like yes she keeps slaves and i am one yes she kills people. And? im gonna eat her pussy. and frankly good for percy. she thinks about it for like one page and otherwise when other characters talk about ethics or politics she's like I No Think Head Empty <3
The DELUSIONAL relationship between the two main characters was just something I couldn’t stomach. It’s ALL about the sapphic relationship which was… honestly kind of boring. I hated how Selene calls Percy her “pet” and I was really hoping for some good plot, but it ended up being basic without anything unpredictable or exciting happening.
first book I've ever dropped. actually i don't even wanna rate this. the writing is VERY badly done, the characters are shallow as hell, the story setting is weird, and there's so much non consensual and abusive stuff going on between the two leads.
Selene & Percy have my whole heart 🖤. The chemistry between them is off the charts🥵. Such an enjoyable read yet made me feel sad in some parts. Read it twice in a year. 😌
3.5/5 stars⭐️ 5/5 spice 🌶️ •sapphic •dark fantasy •vampire x half witch •touch her & die (literally) •degradation/praise •dom/sub ? •”pet” •forced proximity •one bed
i keep seeing people say they don’t feel there was any chemistry but i felt it was bleeding through the pages. i really loved Percy and Selenes dynamic. their relationship definitely still needs developing and i definitely wanna see some growth with both characters but i thought they were electric together. i loved how they never tried to change each-other and i loved how good they communicated.
Selene: is our princess she’s very possessive and morally grey. and hasn’t quite opened her heart up to Percy yet. you can tell Selene cares for Percy a lot but is keeping her at arms length. i feel she really wants to open up with Percy but maybe just doesn’t know how and is scared. she’s rough but gentle when she wants to be. i’m excited for Percy to completely break down Selenes walls. ——i hope in the next book she lets Percy use her name. right now she’s being stubborn and only lets her call her “Ma’am” “Mistress” and “Your Royal Highness”
Percy: is a natural born submissive. she has such a kind heart and values her beliefs and where she comes from. i loved her so much. but i’m ready for her to stick up for herself. she let Selene get away with too much bullshit, it made me mad.
••••••••• fav quotes🩸⛓️♀️🌱
“That power, easily given, cannot so easily be taken back. That it is those closest that are most capable of causing the greatest harm to us.”
“I treat you differently, I’m careful with you, Percy, gentle. I do not tolerate disrespect from others. An assault on you is an assault on me. She drew blood, so I took her life,”
“My pet, you are the only one I want to own completely.”
Non sabes cal é o título do libro??
There is not a lot of action in the first 90%. The last 10% were quite interesting. The writing is special. I didn’t really enjoy to read the word princess in every other sentence.
only reason for the lower rating is because of the typo’s (mainly noticeable at last half) — either way the sex scenes were some of the sexiest i’ve read yet. Like. omfg. And i actually found the plot interesting. and i read until the end BECAUSE i love the two main’s/their chemistry. but it’d be unfair of me to rate a 5 due to the book needing an editor (confusion… for the story… due to typos. Something. Something). still, an enjoyable read and worth it for the erotica in my opinion. I love them 🫡
4.5 ⭐️. If you’re into dramatic/intense/powerplay/spicy fantasy romances, def read this. Disclaimer: it’s a bit cheesy/cringe at times but.. I loooved this book and will reread it in the future.
Pros: - Entertaining & fun, I reaaally enjoyed reading this - pace is great, never bored and didn’t feel rushed - The 🌶️ scenes were off the charts - power play/bdsm (did not expect this but was a pleasant surprise) - They. Are. Switches!!!! THANK YOU AUTHOR - Despite Selene being a morally grey character (e.g. questionable actions) she never once tries to change Percy or vice versa, quite healthy actually - they actually communicate!! - love reading Percy’s & Selene’s relationship grow, truly rooting for them - this can be a con to some but, unrealistic love. A childish sort of love but tbh I loved it. It’s a romance & I’ll take it - enjoyed the slight angst (most won’t agree but book 1 would work as a stand-alone and I allllmost prefer that since it felt more realistic)
Cons: - Percy’s friendships went from 0-100 bonding. That Didn’t make sense to me since they had just met.. I know they were vital to the plot but it didn’t have a natural flow (the 2nd book does a better job of actual friendship) - this is a fantasy & those rules apply in this world but at times, Selene’s and Percy’s relationship felt like that high school couple that PDA’d a little too much in the hallways (yes, Soul Matching and all but still lol) - Surprised me that other love interests were.. men because while Selene and Percy were queer, the world felt heterosexual e.g. heir and throne ascension were mentioned (book 2 addresses this a bit) - characters that weren’t Percy or Selene feel irrelevant (their needs get tossed out the window but hey, Princess gets what Princess wants/society is rekt in this world) - hard to believe no one could piece that Percy was Selene’s soul match??? Maybe more emphasis on how rare it truly was would’ve drove the message home (someone correct me if I overlooked this) - some typos
Will be keeping tabs on this author!! I’m excitedly awaiting her next books.
the princess kinda sucked. percy was hopelessly in love after being rejected time and time again but still loves her because of a soul bond that they don't do shit with.
the spice was good, that's it though. so much was just made important and never again touched upon. its just a bit weird imo

3,5/5 The level of enjoyment is not on the same level as the book itself.
like I had a great time reading it and I will be continuing reading this series but that doesn't mean it's good.
I didn't liked the way Selene was acting with the Percy and also I didn't liked the way Percy was acting sometimes, but it didn't stop me from continuing reading this book
This sucked me in straight away and was quite enchanting. I loved the Princess, her character leapt off the page. The writing was emotive and erotic in places, dragging the reader through the experiences. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.
