Jace and his crew have broken through the Tempest Wall to find the world hidden within the hurricane. Now they must head below to find the relic stolen from the Queen of Dragons.
Their enemies from Saltwater's Weep have not forgotten them and remain hot on their heels, seeking to kill the adventurers as they grow in power. Old enemies are returning for a second chance at revenge and new enemies wait for their chance at a growing power.
See Jace and his companions dominate the world beneath the waves as fulfill their Quests, gain power and advance far beyond the ability of their enemies to stop them. This story contains unusual relationships, explicit violence and content and a path to divinity.
Began gaming at the age of 8 and explored a lot of different ways to play table top. When I got older, I experimented with MMOs and found a few I really liked. My first job was mowing lawns as a young teen, and I worked to use the money to pay for fantasy series like DragonLance, Dark Sun, and Forgotten Realms. As soon as I discovered LitRPG I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my writing.
Aside from taking care of my sons as a single father, writing is what I love to do most. I hope you all enjoy my work.
I got halfway and realized I don't care anymore. This is such a big departure from the first book. The last book is where the changes started which were okay but it changed again in the last book. At every level up in the last book Jace put most of his skill points into sailing. Something he never did in the first 2 books he ended up becoming an expert. There was a huge change in this one as well. He has been into shadow magic since the first book, not much of a fighter but a little bit with the sword. In this one he took his class in a new direction again focusing on archery, the long sword and shadow magic. He lost a lot of his spells that he used in prior books. This change came out of nowhere for me. Since when did he want to be a fighter/archer? It became kind of boring and hard to follow all the changes while at the same time not much happened. Yes they were fighting to find the lost item but I could never tell if they were actually making progress. I decided it wasn't worth my time anymore.
The story is fun in the bigger sense, but the balance in power is abysmal. Things just happen, at no point do you fear any consequence for what is going on. This destroys any immersion and turns this into a boring, monotonous read. This is a really good idea, but someone needs to sit the author down. This feels slapped together on the go, and in desperate need of a proper outline.
What started as a simple story has quickly become a war between existence and destruction. There’s plenty of power ups, stats, and number crunching to make any DM froth at the mouth. Yet the characters are still people I’d like to share a beer with. Book 5 can’t come soon enough!
This is a good book. You shouldy read it. I like the story. The characters are fun. The book is a good read. i enjoyed it alot.. Download or buy it today. why not?
As always a truly enjoyable story to read!!! As one would expect from this author there is plenty of dark magic being used to do good, as well as some awesome adult fantasy activities!!!! I can't wait to seen what comes next!!!
What a long reaching and diverse plot - developed by a master of his craft
Darker than what I expected but the expanse and depth of the story is amazing. The characters are high quality and imbued with charisma. This is a top notch story. Looking forward to Book 5.
Oh I can't wait to see how this all turns out. Is he gonna become top God, or make a new pantheon? Oh the possibilities are so much fun! Can't wait to see what new adventure awaits! (Yes I know corny)
