The Crossover Experience: Life After Death / A New Perspective

Rate this book
Crossover Experience takes a unique approach in trying to better understand the phenomenon of the Near-Death Experience. Most who have learned of the Near-Death Experience are familiar with the “main events” - from the out-of-body experience to being told, “It is not your time. You must go back.” In Crossover Experience, our trio of researchers focus on the fine details that are often overshadowed by these events. And it is here they found a treasure-trove of clues and qualities that reveal much more of the contours, depth and messaging found within a Near-Death Experience. What they also found, to their surprise - that it is often in what we don’t see in an NDE that we gain the greatest insight. Join us as we take you on a wondrous journey through 200 of the most exceptional Near-Death Experiences on record, in search of a deeper, more expansive understanding of what the NDE is trying to communicate to us all. That we are much more than the physical, material world we see around us. We are much more than our bodies. Death is not an end to our being, it is merely a transition into a different, more expansive existence. Learn more about our three researchers below.

Excellent book. Love the variety of NDEs, including some negative ones. What's fascinating is to read about the experiences of those who come from different cultures... and how NDEs are not that different from each other, regardless of culture of origin.

'Crossover Experience' is exactly what the title says. I have read a few similar books to this in the past and I have to say this was not what I expected. This took snippets from people’s experiences with an NDE and then at the end of this scientists etc. will give their views/opinions. I enjoyed the format somewhat but found myself skimming this mostly as some things they said was interesting but a lot of it was pointing out the obvious. The accounts were interesting but nothing I have not read before. I felt a little uncomfy with all the religious aspects that seemed to be a common theme. I personally am an atheist but describe myself as more spiritual rather than religious and some of the accounts made me wonder if this was some sort of religious doctrine of some kind? As this seemed to feature a lot and put me off it a bit. Overall, this was okay just not great. If you want a quick read on the subject this will do the trick.

What a heartwarming and enlightening book. It really has broadened my perspective on the afterlife and our purpose here on earth. Although everyone fears death to some extent, we really shouldn’t and reading this honestly made me fear death a lot less and even (not in a suicidal way) make me look forward to it in a positive way. It’s not something to fear or be sad about.

What I found fascinating were the striking similarities and connections between the different experiences shared in the book. It’s as though there is a universal truth woven through each account, reinforcing the idea that death is not an end, but a continuation.

I’m not sure how I stumbled on this book but I am glad I did. It contains excerpts from many NDE’s, or Near Death Experiences and is fascinating to read how people try to quantify these experiences in language. Many of the experiences were beautiful and magical but some were uncomfortable and difficult, much like life itself. NDE’s fit neatly into my personal philosophy of life and death but depending on your beliefs they may not fit into your system.

Comforting and interesting with some life lessons. I didn't quite understand how the authors critiqued the end of each section, I feel that there could have been a simpler way to do it. Hadn't been proof read very well lots of.printing errors. However, the NDEs themselves are fascinating
