In this sequel to Five More Minutes expect over 100 new poems, spice, growth, and a bit of anger. As this collection is uncensored finally delivering closure.

I can really relate to the feelings of heartbreak and loss in this collection. Some of my favorites were in the 2nd half. Sixty-six and sixty-eight in particular are really strong. This collection will resonate with people who have gone through heartbreak and realized they had been changing themselves in order to be loved by someone who... probably didn't deserve it!
What an absolute beautiful follow up to "Five More Minutes." Through amazing prose, Shannon O'Connor has given a wonderful insight to love lost and how to move on. Poetry has a wonderful way to express our inner thoughts/feelings and Ms. O'Connor has mastered this genre.
I honestly cannot wait to read more of Shannon's works and see where it will transport me. Thank you for such a beautiful work!!
Lost Moments is the second collection of poems by Shannon O'Connor that I have had the pleasure to read, and I will be adding the prequel, Five More Minutes, to my TBR immediately. If you have ever known the longing and deep ache for someone with whom you have shared a primal connection, you will feel every one of Ms O'Connor's words right down to your very core. These poems have such a beautiful flow that it is almost impossible not to become fully immersed in the honest, powerful truths that lie within. Ms O'Connor seems to have a way of tapping into emotions of which we are vaguely aware, yet never fully lay bare in full disclosure.
These beautiful, evocative poems will stay with you long after the final verse. Recommended.
Many thanks to Shannon O'Connor who has generously provided me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Just my second book of poetry by Shannon O'Connor. This collection is a little grittier than 5 More Minutes. The emotions are palpable and it is obvious that you are following along with the author as they journey through this relationship. It is wonderful to see the personal growth that takes place.
This was such an emotional poetry collection. I loved Five More Minutes and I was so glad that this was a bit of a sequel. I could really relate to a lot of these poems. This poetry collection will hit you right in the feels and leave you wanting more. I can't wait to read more by Shannon!
I loved how she described you can miss someone and not want them back. So well written and I can’t wait to read more in the future of your work Shannon
These poems really hit home. So relatable. I love the story line from start to end and how love turns to hurt which turns to growth. Can't wait to read more from Shannon O'Connor.
This is an emotional set of poems. Dealing with loss and heartbreak. Shannon’s poetry is just so full of raw emotions that make you feel. Anyone that has ever went through heartbreak can understand exactly where she is coming from.
The poems in LOST MOMENTS will keep you reading as if a tragic romance novel is unfolding. Shannon O’Connor describes the raw emotions of love and longing with genuine clarity. Who doesn’t want five more minutes with the lover they lost? The poems cover the span of a love affair from the beginning to the heart-breaking conclusion. O’Connor continues past the breakup, and gives the reader the cold moments after the initial hurt. It’s easy to see the process of acceptance and growth. I enjoyed the poems. I love when I pause for a moment and truly reflect on the imagery or emotion an author has stirred. I felt so much power from the line, “But I wish you as much happiness as your absence has brought me.” There are many other thought-provoking morsels throughout the book. The poems are the product of the author’s emotions, so I recommend the book for those who are mature enough to handle the content.
What a collection of heartbreak and hope and learning and growing. Lost Moments gives you the pain of leaving and letting go of love with a touch of hope to know you can come out stronger. You may give a piece of your heart away but you always hold all the pieces. It’s a matter of talking to you heart and healing and knowing one day your heart won’t ache as it did once before.
As always, I love Shan's writing. This book hurt in all the best ways. These poems have made me feel less alone and held out a hand to pull me through tough times. I want recommend Shan's books to everyone. She truly has a way to pack a punch on one page and then give you a shoulder to cry on on the next.
