DNF at about 40% was this even written by the same person?!? I tried, I really really tried to get through it, but I just couldn’t do it. Aside from the massive grammatical/editing errors and the absolute cluster of story telling, the descriptions and word choices at some parts just absolutely took me out of the moment.

Examples:

During spicy scene “I’m going to clean you with my tongue then lick your boobs”

“I unleash my huge snake to pee”

Again - spicy scene, ‘as I plunge my long length in her hole’

Multiple lines of ‘my cock punches’ or ‘my cock lurches’ or ‘my cocks strains toward her’ - like cocks are prehensile and/or have a mind of their own wherein they move like whole bodies.

Then the storyline in general - she goes into heat for about 30 seconds so she has to get fucked immediately in the middle of the woods. And gets fucked in the ass with nothing but her own vag juice and ZERO prep. Magical pregnancy which lasts all of a few days. I stopped after they just randomly jumped ahead months after the baby was born because I’d had enough of the crazy train and I wanted off.

The first three I really, really loved. This one sucked.

Nice finish to this series. Nalah and her men were incredible and the shared world that Mila and Lexi Foss have created has made for so many great stories so far.

Keep up the great work Mila.

Cursed Wolf is the fourth and final book in the Savage series. This cannot be read as a standalone and it continues where Fated Wolf left off.

Narah has been through some serious trials with searching for her sisters and claiming her four mates. She is definitely faced with some difficulties along the way but this was the perfect ending to her story!

OMFG!! This (so far) has been my favorite universes from Mila Young! The world building is incredible and I really loooved Narah and her Viking hotties since the very beginning. Not only that, the intriguing plot, extra spicy scenes, the chemistry between Narah and her guys, and can't forget the zombies. Absolutely incredible!! I love Mila Young's books sooo much! Can't wait to see what she comes up next!!

Prepare to turn up the air conditioning because this book was extra spicy. The story picks up immediately where the previous one left off, and it charges along like a runaway freight train. I feel a bit like I’ve just survived tea with the Mad Hatter and taken his admonition to believe in impossible things to heart, because my mind is blown over several revelations in this book. I loved watching Narah settle into her powers and strength, becoming the heart of her ‘found’ family. And now that this chapter is closed, I’m desperate to know more about what will become of her sisters.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

1st book was mildly interesting, a world of witches and shifters, fighting a zombie pandemic... and since I'd received the complete audiobook series collection for free, I kept reading, but it got so bad I felt like my brain was going to melt out of my ears

The first three books were pretty good. It's clear that the story is intended to just fill the gaps between the spice which is perfectly fine if that's what you're after - and I was - but the characters are 2 dimensional for the most part.

The dialogue can be fairly disjointed and I actually found myself check the publication page to find the editor and proofreaders because it's clear they gave up in this one. There were issues in the previous books but not quite to this level. Misspelling character names, clear typos, sentences missing entire words and making no sense. Our girl Narah apparently found time to dye her hair red after it was only black in the first books. What?

The story line was perfectly set up for a book-long battle for the Savage Sector as the supporting narrative behind the constant spice, but instead it was about some bullshit magic pregnancy. Talk about a turn-off - every mention of this made me audibly retch to read. There was no need to incorporate this into the narrative considering what the narrative was there to accomplish.

Having read the first 3 books in a day each (I read 2 and 3 fully in 1 day) and then coming to this one was a rude awakening.

There were times I was expecting a twist at some point thinking I'd find some semblance of intelligent writing, but I was sorely mistaken to find that everything was as it seems.

The spicy scenes worked for me, even with the classic spicy cringe, and again if that's what you're after then this is for you... Unless you find the pregnancy and breedable aspects off-putting as I do. Skip those perhaps.

I would recommend the first 3, but this one I felt was rushed and tried to combine a 5th cancelled novel in.

Stone is adorable. Nikos is my boy. Crius is a silly fucker and Ragnar was arm candy, but nothing much more.

Martell can go fuck himself.

Savage Wolves

Ragnar, Nikos, Crius, Stone, & Narah’s four book story was long and drawn out. I truly didn’t think of Ragnar as some great alpha shifter leader, yes the four guys were strong alpha warriors but not leaders. Narah was quite annoying throughout all of the books.
The ending fell completely flat for me, disappointed.

The thing about these types of series is that the characters just unravel by the end. Narah became so stupid and whiny on this last book.

The breathtaking conclusion to Narah’s saga delivers a storm of heartbreak, magic, and hard-won triumph.

After the brutal death of Lyssa, Ragnar and Stone return her body to her father, while Nikos and Crius escort Narah back to her mother’s house—where dark forces still linger. But what should have been a moment of rest turns deadly when the three are ensnared in a powerful illusion spell. Trapped in a dreamlike reality high among the trees, Narah finds herself pregnant and living a peaceful fantasy life where she and two of her Alphas dote on her. Meanwhile, Ragnar and Stone are delayed by Lyssa’s burial rites, forced to endure the arrogant demands of the Bane Wolfpack Alpha.

When the illusion finally shatters, Narah awakens still heavily pregnant. As chaos erupts, Lyra—the witch—feeds on her mother’s power. In a desperate act, Narah steals the energy back, nearly dying in the process. Together, the group devises a harrowing plan to purge the witch from Kaira by drowning her—just as Lyra once did to Allis. The plan succeeds, but their trials are far from over.

While Ragnar and Nikos return to the Bane Wolfpack seeking reinforcements, they find devastation—most of the pack slaughtered in a bloody massacre. Taking command, they rally what remains and race back to Narah. Meanwhile, Stone and Crius defend her and her sisters from waves of rogue Alphas in a relentless fight for survival.

In the midst of bloodshed and chaos, Narah gives birth, her power surging uncontrollably as she accidentally takes down three people. The Shadowlands Alpha, Dusan, threatens them all through a blood pact made with Ragnar, but his mate’s awakening forces him to stand down.

Determined to end the nightmare once and for all, Narah and her Alphas hunt Martell. In an epic final battle, Narah uses her magic to drain the undead, nearly losing her life as blue veins streak her skin. As Martell’s forces close in, she channels Stone’s power into Ragnar, fueling a devastating blaze that obliterates their enemy and secures victory. Ragnar claims the Savage Sector, bringing peace at last.

Years later, Narah and the Alphas daughter Harmony —now sixteen is ready to find her own mate—steps into the world her parents fought so fiercely to protect. With Ragnar’s sister, Hell, joining their ranks, the legacy of the Viking Alphas and their Warrior Queen lives on.

A thrilling and emotional finale, this last book ties together love, loss, and destiny in an unforgettable ending that burns bright long after the final page.

Narah only wants to save her sisters and to have a happy life with her four gorgeous mates, but deadly threats loom over her from every direction. An evil witch has possessed her sister and her ex-fated mate is determined to hunt her down. Not to mention the great numbers of undead in the Savage Sector. Will Narah manage to save those she loves and not lose her life doing so?

This is the amazing conclusion to the reverse harem paranormal romance series, Savage. I loved every step of the way. Narah has come a long way from the beginning where she was a cast-out wolf, rejected by her fated mate, living in the dangerous woods as she tried to find a way to free her sisters. She still tries to give them a safe and happy future, even though everything seems stacked against them. Her Viking wolf Alphas are smoking hot. My favorite is Crius. He always makes me laugh with his crass humor. There's sweetness thrown in with the very steamy sex scenes. Narah finds herself magically pregnant, and now there's something else that pushes her to fight. Her mates are going to make the best dads! I especially loved the originality of the setting and the world building in this series. It's in the future after zombies have overtaken the world, and supernaturals are the only ones who survived. Narah and her men run through the ancient woods of Romania which holds the Savage Sector, the perfect name for it. Fantastic read, and I can't wait to see what comes next from this fabulous author.

A fabulous finale to the Savage series!

The fourth and final Installment of the Savage series did NOT disappoint!!! Mila truly knows how to weave a story so captivating that when the end comes you’re left both ecstatic that the story is now complete but sad you have to say goodbye—and these characters are no exception! Narah and her delicious Viking mates stole my heart from the beginning and this story was utter perfection—giving us every try but we could ever want…and more!

This story finds Narah and her men still facing the same enemies and dangers as before and even more obstacles as they race to save her sister, deal with the mate that rejected her, defeat their enemies and finally find their HEA together. I loved watching how their journey truly brought them together as a group, and how strong (and hot!) their chemistry remained throughout the series and how their love grew. And just when you think you have it all figured out Mila throws you for a loop with a surprise twist that will leave you reeling!!!

Overall this series is a definite must read for any paranormal, magical Shifter RH romance fans and I highly recommend it! The plot, the storyline, the characters are pure perfection and I can’t wait for more of this universe!!! If you love books that have tons of steam and chemistry galore, action and intrigue, magic and mayhem and of course hot af Viking alpha fated mates, evil rejected mates and a fierce and dedicated heroine then dive in today!

This is the fourth and final book in the Savage series, a paranormal wolf shifter romance.

Tropes and themes include:
✨Why choose (mfmmm)
✨Rejected mate
✨Shifters and witches
✨Omegaverse
✨Surprise pregnancy
✨Sisterly bonds
✨Post-apocalyptic environment
✨HEA

Rating: 3/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nickname: Little Fox

The Lovely: As has been the case with the rest of the series, I enjoyed the plot, and I appreciate how it came together at the end. I also liked how some doors were left open for further spin-offs in this world.

The Mundane: There are no content warnings (at least in the ebook or on the author’s website) so this is your heads up this book includes a surprise pregnancy. *SPOILER* This pregnancy was straight out of left field. She basically gets pregnant, near full term, as the result of a witch’s spell and then just. . .has a normal pregnancy. It felt bizarre and out of place to me, and kind of an interruption in the story. Still don’t know why it was there honestly.

Recommendation: For the series as a whole I loved the plot - the tension, the mystery - and how the FMC’s journey progressed. I liked how she basically warred with herself about what she DID want versus what she THOUGHT she should want. I was hoping to see more emotional connections in the romance and more of the characters getting to know each other. If you like wolf shifter romance with plenty of spice and a solid plot, I think you would like this series.

Cursed Wolf is the fourth and final book in the Savage series. This book was such a good read, Narah has got some fire in her and sass her alphas when she needs to. The love between them is obvious, not only are they very protective of Narah but care for her sisters as well. The guys are absolutely devoted to Narah and their new family structure. Plus the sexual chemistry is through the roof.

Of course, Lyra was gonna be a problem but who knew Martell was gonna be a pain for as long as he has been. I didn't see him as a stick-around character. Jae is back to being in the story, I enjoyed seeing the blend of both sides of Narah's family blend together becoming one. There was plenty of action and surprising secrets including visiting the Shadowlands pack. There was one scene/event that was totally unexpected and took the story in a new direction, it was a unique twist that I enjoyed.

The final book in the Savage series was a wild ride. A lot of unexpected events happened in Cursed Wolf but the series wrapped up well, Narah and her alphas got their happy ending and there was even an epilogue that hinted at either other series Mila has written or hinting that more could be coming. I really enjoyed the series, and I even plan on giving Shadowlands a try.

Book four picks up where book three ended! Narah, taken by her ex-mate, has been rescued by her new mates, but her heat has struck at the most inopportune time. Could the timing be any worse? Can things get any worse? With the discovery of the alpha's daughter, dead...the answer is yes. Wait until you hear this man's demands! Oy-vee! My jaw was on the floor! Enemies are everywhere, you just don't know who you can trust, and danger lurks around every corner. Zombies roaming the land, Narah going into heat at various moments and that itch just needing to be scratched. Of course, her men are more than willing to oblige.
This book is packed with drama, danger, romance, and yes, of course, that HEA that the author promises from the get go. I love the pacing in this book. Compared to a couple of the previous books this one is perfect in pacing. A couple previous books wandered around here and there, but this book kept me page-turning to find out what was going to happen next. I ate this book up and I know that if you've read the previous books and you're still here that you will, too.
I'm rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. Grab this book and find out how it all ends!

This was a fantastic final book to this series. This entire series has been such a thrill to read. I found myself constantly on the edge of my seat throughout the entire series! I loved how unpredictable the story was. Between the nasty ex-fated, possession and straight up evil bad guys, there really was never a dull moment, and we can't forget the steamy steam!Narah and her Viking men scorch the pages of this story! Throughout the series we got to see Narah grow into such an amazing individual, that was really fun to see, and seeing her relationships developed between Cirus, Stone, Ragnar and Niko was so enjoyable. Overall I really enjoyed this series. It's well paced, it flows and reads easily, the plot is thick and unique, the world building is fantastic and we already know I love the character development! I am sad to see the end of this series but I am also really satisfied with how it concluded. I am looking forward to reading the next series we are treated to!

My head is still spinning, not sure if it’s due lack of oxygen after reading those steamy scenes or just because of this filled with action and dangers pages which made me forget to breath. Well.. maybe even both of those. It’s wonderful and yet sad to see Narah story to end. I loved to read this series, such a great post apocalyptic world with so many details and regulations, complicated and yet so easy to lost in and forget we are only reading a book (this must be Mila’s magic). Narah did grow so much between first and last book, her relationship with her Vikings did as well, the chemistry seems palpable. There is everything on those pages: action, steamy action, mayhem, fight, magic, troubles, twists. Sometimes we read out of breath and sometimes with a smirk. This is really a perfect culmination to this series. And however I hate somehow this series to finish I for sure love to not have another cliffhanger from hell from the author. 🤣

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CURSED WOLF" What a mind-blowing epic conclusion to this phenominal series its definitely a page turner your on the edge of your seat so much suspense, angst, intrigue, mystery, secrets revealed, coming into powers, scorching hot steamy scenes, humor, love, twists that make a very addicting ending.
Narah, Ragnar, Crius, Nikos & Stone are fighting the undead, ex-psycho fated mate out for revenge, evil Alpha's, Witches possession of Narah's sister Kaira, an unexpected pregnancy, love her sister Jae she a little spitfire who puts some humor in the story.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written series with a phenominal conclusion sorry it's over the characters were so well developed & draw you right into all the chaos you so won't be disappointed a must have read for sure.

Nooo I was SO happy until how this ended. This series was really well paced, enjoyed the plot, the character development and then it's like there was a last minute pregnancy thrown in. Not only was it a rushed trope it was weirdly thrown in there. She gets pregnant by a random curse tree and everyone acts like it's mostly normal??? I kept waiting for it to be like a demon baby or something sense it came from a curse but it was normal! Just seemed really randomly thrown into the plot and it ruined it for me. I wish she would have done a time skip with the relationship and the child vs using it as a last minute plot drive. I feel a bit cheated for sticking with the story for so long just for it to end that way super rushed. The first 3 books were great. This one wasnt HORRIBLE but very disappointed.

Corny
This final book is even more frustrating than the others. The author writes corny PC dialogue that doesn’t match the personality she wrote for her characters in The Shawdowlands nor the 1st book in this series.
Martell, Narah’s exfated mate takes center stage as the protagonist but has had zero character development in any of the books nor do we have any idea why he’s suddenly become obsessed with the mate he threw off of a cliff.
I agree with another reviewer that these read more like a draft than a polished manuscript.
Far too many punctuation and grammar errors as well as incomplete sentences. Does no one write using a program that has spell & grammar check?! Come on. This is beyond ridiculous and now I no longer want to read any books by this author and have lost interest in this dystopian world and its other books by other authors.

Book 4 and the final in Young's Savage series. This book is best read in series order to follow along in the journey of these amazing characters. Well written and completely addictive from start to finish! Narah and her four mates; Ragnar, Crius, Nikos & Stone are facing challenges like never before. This book is fast paced and flows perfectly. Full of action, adventure and revealed secrets - it also is full of steamy scenes and some humor thrown in too to round it into a perfectly balanced, overall binge worthy read! I loved the mystery and twists as well as the steam and of course the perfect ending!

This book was given to me for free at my request (thank you) and I have voluntarily provided this review.

The Savage series comes to a phenomenal conclusion in book four. Narah and her Vikings have had to overcome a lot. One thing after another seemed to be against them. I loved these characters and they have grown some much individually and as a group. It may have taken a little while but their road to each other made their bonds stronger together.
The action, steam, and emotions of this story takes you on a captivating rollercoaster ride that doesn’t disappoint. A magical twist I didn’t see coming left me beaming with how Norah’s Vikings responded to it.
This author did a fantastic job with the world building of the Savage Sector that has me wanting to read more in this world. Can’t wait to see what creativity she come up with next.

The Savage series has come to an end, but the last installment in the series did not lag behind the previous books in any direction. Narah and her men have to face the mortal threads and dangers again, fight their enemies, and overcome lots of obstacles in this action-packed story full of twists and turns. There was a lot of character development in the series when it comes to the individual personalities, but I really liked to watch the dynamics in the harem and how they grew as a group. There was a lot of suspense and drama, many emotional moments, and vivid descriptions that drew the reader deeply into the story. And if hot Viking alphas are your weakness, you shall definitely not pass this series.

This was a very impressive finale to the series. All the way through I was on edge, especially towards the end, it could have ended so differently! This book had a lot of heat and some exciting scenes where our sexy Vikings proved just what warriors they are. Added to that there was a shock/ surprise that threw me and all the characters for a loop! Looking back to how Narah and her 4 men were at the beginning of the series there has been a big change in all of them. They all were all a bit broken from tough pasts and they have changed, developed and grown over the course of the series. Love really does conquer all! I loved it

50% DNF

I gave the book 3 stars because I think this was a case of “it’s not you, it’s me.” There’s too much happening here. The book definitely scratches an itch if you’re in the mood for some spice BUT all the other stuff throws it off. Between the feuding mate, zombies, witches possessing people, one-week pregnancy … AND THEN it’s a why choose. I’m all for a why choose but when you throw everything else in it becomes too much. Also, some parts were kind of cringe. The descriptors when one of the guys goes to pee and whips out his “snake” … could’ve gone my whole life without that image in my head. Overall, I’m sure it’s a decent book but it definitely wasn’t for me.

These Vikings know how to make things special! Many and diverse emotions were present in each one of them and I really like when we have the protagonists’ POV, and we can know what they are struggling with. The twists in the story were very interesting, intriguing, and kept me on the lookout because what seemed like it was going to happen was not what turned out to be. Way to keep me interested! Lots of action, suspense, mystery, violence, unbridled passion and of course magic could not be missing. An ending to the story that I enjoyed and liked a lot.

The end of Narah's story is intense! Fast paced and exciting, there is no lack of action, both on the battlefield and in the bedroom (or the forest, wherever there is a hard surface will do) The books set in this post apocalyptic world have had zombies and wolf shifters, but Savage Sector is unique, in that it introduced Narah, half wolf and half witch and her learning how to use magic alongside her wolf shifting abilities is really compelling. Her four alphas are protective and obsessed with her. I loved this finale and it truly was the ending Savage Sector deserved!

A Viking story for the ages! Cursed Wolf was a great ending to the Savage series full of action, suspense, romantic moments, and a big surprise! Narah and her Viking mates have had a lot thrown at them through this series, but it was great to see them continuously persevere and grow stronger together. Usually you only see substantial growth in the MFC, but I really think the guys had some big moments, especially in this final book. All in all, a great series with an epic ending and a happily ever after!

I loved this conclusion so much! Narah has grown so much in the series and is an amazing woman. I also loved how her bonds with her men developed and how they learned to work as a team. There were some intest twists and surprises I didn’t see coming at all and loved them. I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters. I loved the fated mates and rejected mates in this series. There was a good amount of action which I also enjoyed so much. The ending felt fitting for the characters which made me happy.

Narah has been through so much whilst she searches for her sisters along side the Viking Alphas. And with this being the final book the trials she faces will be tough. There's lots of spice between Narah and her guys, as well as some interesting surprises that pop up along the way. I'm kinda sad to say goodbye to Narah and her guys because I loved the development between the characters throughout the series and their story has been enjoyable to read. There are hints to more stories coming from this series to do with Narah's sisters and I can't wait to get my hands on those in the future.
