Savage and Jess

Goodness if I thought it couldn't be more confusing I was wrong. Secrets still coming out of the woodwork. Death, lies, betrayal it's all crazy. But what a ride. Looking forward to more.

Savage, is a broken man. Reeling from the murder of his sister - he spirals into drunk and depression, and Reaper employees nurse Jessica to get him fit again. But when Jessica’s past is revealed - Savage is determined to protect what is his.

I’m so invested in this series now - each instalment has me on the edge of my seat.
The writing quality is showing a marked improvement from previous books, and it’s not detracting my attention from the story, as much as it had in previous books. I’m excited for more.

Savage continues the saga of the Golden Skulls. The hits just keep coming and more and more people are dying. Secrets, lies and betrayals are are still at the helm of this series and it seems like it's neverending.. I like this series, I enjoy the characters, I just think it's getting to be a bit much without any resolution at this point. Hopefully moving on to book 6 will progress things some.

Phew these books are hard hitting at times and like an Agatha Christie novel.

So much going on and so many crazy coincidences. Which all seem a bit too prosaic.

Notwithstanding it keeps you hooked and wanting more.

Jess is too much tbh, too perfect, then just happens to be double golden ffs. Savage is a typical biker. Loved him.

All in all a great addition though lost a star due to the crazy coincidences which just were corny n silly

Great story!!

This is the fifth book in this phenomenal series and this is Jess and Lucas / Savage's story.
This is a well written action packed, emotionally charged story, with found family, friendships, loyalty, intrigue, danger, suspense, secrets, heartbreak, loss grief lies, betrayal, challenges, humour, witty banter, healing, violence, vengeance, undeniable chemistry, and unconditional love, which all leads to an entertaining, tragic, haunting, twisted, and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Savage is left reeling after his sister Kitty's death, spiraling down a black hole, Reaper hires Jessica, a nurse (who Savage tried to seduce back in bk1) but Jessica has a past, one that's coming for her and Savage vows to protect her at any cost. But can Savage come out of his dark hole quick enough? As more secrets and twists rock the club, loyalties are tested just what more can be ahead? Engaging read, thebstory has heart and depth, emotions, drama, twsors and more. A great addition to the series

More untangling

human trafficking is real and a billion dollar business. The author Rebecca Joyce did her research.
Jessie and Savage story reveals more secrets but Jessie hates the Golden Skulls. We learn she was friends with Kitty his sister. Again Kitty is leaving cryptic messages. While reading their story question about Kitty and Bulleyes kept popping up but to get those answers i keep reading .lol

So many questions

So many questions so little answers. I can't spoil the book so I can't say much but I was unhappy with the ending.

Savage - the chaos continues with the 5th book in the Golden Skulls and 7th book in the combined series.
Savage must trust what his late sister Kitty is telling him even after her death. Falling in love with Jessica, who has secrets, will bring allies and another fight to all who are connected to them. Nothing is as it seems; lies are still being told. Half-truths are being given.

Savages story is one that you do not want to miss out on. I also highly recommend that you read all other stories before his so that you fully grasp and understand what unfolds in this book. The story moves at a fast pace and at no part does it drag or become redundant.

If you love a morally grey antihero then start at Book 1 Reaper. I can promise that the twist, turns, deception, deaths, and love you will never guess nor figure out what is coming next. I enjoyed the start of the books taking place semi in the past from the main characters POV. I found that it added so much context to the plot and gave light to missing pieces that we were left wondering what was going on at times.

Finding out who Jessica was blew my mind. The way her character developed and unfolded was that of greatness. Jess will forever be one of my all time favorite FMC! I love that her connection brought us to the Sons of Hell MC. It was also heartbreaking to know what her mother faced and the connection that she had with Solomon....as well as finding a new brother and sister.... literally.

Kitty.... I never thought I would agree with Reaper but secrets are getting old.... or are they? I just want to know everything Kitty knows.... I need more....all at once lol.

Phantom is hiding something huge... I am curious to see how her past is told and what darkness and secrets she is hiding. There is so much more to the story that we know yet.

Sandman... I am waiting for you in the darkness. I need his story.

Aunt Roxy.... you sly cur dog you.... I DID not see that coming what so ever! How else can all of these people have blood ties to one another? I cant wait to read and find out.
