Really good. The script isn't the film, so I'm not grading it by how much I enjoyed the resulting movie, but how much I enjoyed reading this compared to other things I read (novels, plays, etc.) It flew by, it was evocative, if you didn't see the film you could easily imagine it based on the screenplay here. I'm taking a screenwriting course and was encouraged to read more screenplays. I don't love that it's by "Insight Editions" rather than Todd Phillips and Scott Silver, who actually wrote the screenplay. That's regrettable.

(Note: I'm a writer, so I suffer when I offer fewer than five stars. But these aren't ratings of quality, they're a subjective account of how much I liked the book: 5* = an unalloyed pleasure from start to finish, 4* = really enjoyed it, 3* = readable but not thrilling, 2* = disappointing, and 1* = hated it.)
