Lily is preparing for the high season at Glass Beach Cottage and looking forward to her son’s upcoming visit, when she’s hit with an unwelcome surprise—her estranged sister is back.
Wendy’s arrival, and plan to stay indefinitely, frustrates Lily beyond belief and adds to the chaos of her busiest time of year. While the two sisters navigate living under the same roof, Mac surprises Lily with a proposal that promises to make all their dreams come true.
Then, during the arrival of her first guests, an untimely event forces Lily to rely on Wendy for help—not something she’s happy about, not at all! To make matters worse, Mac’s daughter, Missy, threatens to dismantle their future.
After a particularly nasty encounter, Lily realizes she can’t move forward and make a life with Mac with his daughter making constant trouble. She’s looking for stability, not turmoil, but the thought of breaking the heart of the man she loves shatters her.
Lily and Mac have a vision for the future and a dream that grew from their first walk on the beach. Will the strength of their love and commitment be enough to withstand the forces that want to tear them apart?

When Tammy isn't working on ideas for a novel, she's spending time with family and friends or supporting her addiction to books and chocolate. She and her husband have one grown son and a spoiled golden retriever.
I enjoyed the happy ending to this trilogy. I felt like the two main characters still had a lot of baggage to deal with, especially Lily. She just had a hard time letting go of her first husband’s memory. The secondary characters shined in this story. They were so supportive for Lily, and did almost everything to help with the wedding. I couldn’t stand Mac’s daughter—she was a bully. Lily’s son, Kevin, was a great guy and I was really happy for him and Brooke. Mel was the character who rose to the top of all three stories in this series—She grew from a scared, timid young woman into a woman who was flourishing with all the love, attention, and appreciation she was shown after moving in with Lily and being treated like family. The dogs were all precious! I do recommend this beach setting series.
As usual, I flew through Beach Dreams by Tammy L. Grace. I love her books and can’t keep myself away from them once I get started. Beach Dreams was not any different and now I sit here wondering when she has another book coming out.
Beach Dreams was the conclusion to a three part series called Glass Beach Cottage. I hated to see it end. It is a lovely series. There are a few authors that are among my favorites that have a knack of bringing out all the feels. Tammy is one of them. Do you ever read a book and feel like your soul is wallowing in the goodness of the book? That’s what I’m getting at. There are good characters, good plots, great settings, fun and clean romance and tribulations that have satisfying conclusions. They have it all and you can’t think of one thing that could make the book better.
I love that she brings characters from other books into her plots. They visit each other as old friends and it gives you a chance to catch up with old friends as well. While reading this book there were characters from the Hometown Harbor Series that Lily went to visit. The one that brought a big smile to my face was the mention of planning a visit to Linden Falls where The Wishing Tree Series takes place. I have read and reviewed the first seven books in this series and am looking forward to the next six this fall with a few new authors. If you haven’t started The Wishing Tree Series, I urge you to check it out and download book one The Wishing Tree. Best of all it is FREE!
If you are like me and enjoy several different genres of fiction but always rely on the sweet romance to mix things up a bit, Beach Dreams and Glass Beach Cottage Series will do the trick. They are a wonderful respite from the Psychological Thrillers, Mysteries and Historical Fiction that I read a lot of. These books soothe my soul and relax me.
I have been anticipating the release of Beach Dreams, the third and final book in the Glass Beach Cottage Series by Tammy L. Grace since I completed book 2. It was everything I hoped for and then some. Through the pages, we follow Mac and Lily and their adventures to merge their lives and embrace a second chance at love and happiness.
What I have loved about this whole series is Lily’s bravery and ability to be there for herself. She doesn’t need Mac, therefore finding him is a true blessing. This whole series contains the kind of characters you hope play a role in your life, including some adorable golden retrievers!
The struggle for me was accepting Wendy back into the fold. Wendy, Lily’s entitled and selfish sister, enters the story in book 2 and acts in ways I couldn’t fathom being redeemable. I didn’t read the book blurb and didn’t realize how much of a role she was going to play in this book. Thus when she showed up, I groaned and loudly exclaimed “not her again!!!!” I trust Tammy though and she showed me that sometimes people are worthy of redemption and with the right circumstances can change their ways.
While Wendy is a large part of the story, Mac and Lily have a few other obstacles to overcome and I happily flipped those pages to watch them overcome and embrace the love they both so deserve. It is nice to be reminded that loving again after loss is possible and doesn’t have to compete with the love you were already blessed enough to get once.
I adore this series and cannot recommend it enough. A true second-chance at love story with a perfect backdrop in the town of Driftwood Bay.
Tammy Grace has an uncanny talent for spinning sensitive subjects and family drama into an interesting novel that you can't put down. Mac and Lily never expected to find love again after the death of their spouses, but fate intervened. However, Lily's less than pleasant sister, with her usual drama, and Mac's spoiled daughter are determined to cause trouble. Lily believes it would be easier to just call the whole thing off, but Mac doesn't give up easily. I was pleasantly surprised to find characters from the Hometown Harbor series incorporated into this book. Hometown Harbor is one of my favorite series and to visit with them again was like catching up with old friends. Makes me want to read those books all over again. This is the last book in the Glass Beach Cottage series but maybe down the road the author can be persuaded to give Cyndy, Wendy or Mel a story of their own. Don't you just love when you read a series and become invested in the lives of the characters. I received this copy free from the author and am under no obligation to leave a review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am freely sharing my opinion. Thank you to Tammy L. Grace for allowing me to be a part of your ARC team.
Wonderful third book in the series. The author continues to use beautiful descriptions of the colorful scenery and food. I enjoy how her words paint a picture in my mind. Meanwhile the tales of the dogs provide laughs through the book
Lily’s sister Wendy has returned to town, she has no money, and no place to go. Guests begin to arrive at the Beach Cottages for the season. After Lily suffers an injury she wonders if she can count on Wendy to step in and help?
Life continues for Lily and she finds her feelings deepen for Mac. As the couple plans to build a future, Mac’s daughter works to make life difficult. Lily questions her decisions and is torn about the future.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion
BEAUTIFUL STORY OF LOVE, COMMITMENT, AND FORGIVENESS!
Author Tammy L. Grace has penned Beach Dreams, Book 3 of her Sea Glass Cottage Series and it is a beautiful story of love, commitment, and forgiveness. This series is one of my favorites because Grace has developed a believable plotline that is easy to follow and keeps your attention from one book to the next, a gorgeous setting of a peaceful beach town, and characters that continue to grow and evolve with each new book. What I like best about this book is seeing how the two main characters choose to rely on each other to solve a major problem instead of allowing an outside faction to come between them and they learn the freedom that true forgiveness can bring.
Well, as expected, Tammy L. Grace did not disappoint with Beach Dreams, the third and final book in the Glass Beach Cottage series.
This book is a breath of fresh air, especially in our current times, and provides hope for second chances. Tammy has a gift for working through life challenges in her writing, with realism, humor and common sense sprinkled in. I love how everything concluded for Lily and Mac, along with the other beloved characters. I also enjoyed the inclusion of surprise guests from the Hometown Harbor Series, also written by Tammy.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am proud to be a part of Tammy's ARC group. My opinion is my own. I highly recommend Beach Dreams and the Glass Beach Cottage series.
Thank you to the author for the ARC. Mac and Lily are planning their wedding. But then Lily’s spoiled sister, Wendy, shows up and Mac’s daughter, Missie, is determined to destroy everything Mac and Lily have built. Will the wedding take place or will their second chance at love after the deaths of their prior spouses be destroyed? This is the conclusion to the Glass Beach series and proves once again how Tammy L. Grace deals with sensitive subjects and real-life situations in her books. Her books are so much more than romance novels, and she delivers a series that you don’t want to end.
I can never give enough praise to Tammy's books, they never fail to entertain and inspire. This whole series was wonderful and portrayed a great second chance for new life after tragedy. Book 3 brought a perfect ending to the series; although I'm always sad to see one of Tammy's series end, time has proven she will continue to write more wonderful novels. That said, don't miss this series and I look forward to what's next!!!!
Do you believe there is a second chance at love? If you do, you'll want to grab this entire series! Beach Dreams is the conclusion of Lily's relocation and running the beautiful cottages on Driftwood Bay. There is a bit of family drama, with lots of great friends that stand by her side through some tough decisions. And let's not forget about all the wonderful Goldens in this series! Grab this book asap, you will not be disappointed!
I absolutely adore this Series by Tammy L. Grace. Sweet and heartwarming and always has furry friend or friends. I would recommend the first 2 books in the series before this one so that you have all of the character background and you will also fall in love with them again and again.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for fair and honest review.
Beach Dreams by Tammy L Grace is the 3rd and final book in this series and I absolutely loved it!! I so wish there were more books coming out about the Sea Glass Cottage with it’s wonderful characters that pull you in. If you need an escape be sure to grab this book up and give it a try!
Beach Dreams was so good I couldn’t wait to finish it yet also didn’t want it to end! I love all the characters, especially the ones you meet again from the Hometown Harbor series.

The wedding is in the beach, people standing, with a driftwood arch and a board walkway. As the sunsets. Mac get her a new puppy as wedding gift. Really liked the series, moved quickly, lots happen.
I have read several of Tammy L. Grace's other books and have loved every one of them. Beach Dreams is right up there with all her other amazing works and is so very good. In this book, I feel like I've just met back up with a set of friends and can't wait to find out how the rest of this series turns out especially for Lily. Also, Mac, Mel, Wendy, Cyndy and the lovable dog characters, Fritz, Bodie and Sherlock.
Ms. Grace has such a wonderful way of creating characters that are so relatable. I felt like I was friends with Lily from the very beginning of book One and wanted to be there for her in what she was going through after her husband, Gary, had been tragically killed. Now she wonders if there is a possible chance at happiness for her after such a devasting loss. But a light begins to glimmer and the wonderful Mac is there to help her discover what could be a new life filled more than she could ever imagine. But....there's all kinds of challenges and doubts, not to mention family members who aren't all that helpful. Lily has so much to overcome but the friends she's found are there for her.
The story takes the reader to the Pacific Northwest and the pristine beaches and waters. What better place for Lily to find peace and with the help of her best fur friends, she traverses the path. This is all written into a fantastic story by a very talented story teller, Tammy L. Grace . When I pick up one of her books, I know I'm in for a wonderful journey in the lives of her characters. I become invested in the characters and keep turning the pages to find out what happens in their lives.
Ms. Grace has a gift to write scenic descriptions that are right on. I felt like I was breathing the fresh beach air and feeling the cool breezes off the water and listening to the sounds of nature as I was reading. Again, a way that Ms. Grace has of bringing the reader right into the story.
There are passages in the book that are so perfect for the feelings of the characters. The destiny of Lily to inherit Glass Beach Cottage at a time when she didn't know what she was going to do made me ache for her to find happiness. ""I don't want to come between you and Missy." Her throat burned, and her voice wobbled. At that moment, she understood the depth of her love for him. She was willing to let him go so he wouldn't have to suffer choosing." Such anguish!
The writing pulled me through the pages of Lily's story. Hers is one of hope, encouragement, forgiveness, highs, lows, but most of all filled with all kinds of love.
Thank you, Ms. Grace, for a great read that I enjoyed so very, very much! The Glass Beach Cottage series is worth a whole beach full of five stars for me. All opinions and thoughts in this review are my heartfelt own.
A wonderful wrap to Lily's second chance at love. The journey has been attacked by attempts to derail their love. But when an unhappy family member exacts revenge, Lily's friend and lawyer Izzy is quick to react with a cease and desist order. Mac saves the wedding by following Lily as she heads to Izzy's to regroup, and stresses how much he loves her and that all the angst is worth the chance to marry. Neither expected to find love after being widowed. A new author and series that I highly recommend. The author captured the setting of the Pacific Northwest perfectly so the reader can imagine the sights and sounds of the islands and small towns that run out p and down the coastline. Truly a joy to read and looking forward to more of her books!
Really enjoyed the trilogy. These stories were filled with mostly happy people and happy places. The 2 miserable characters in the book seemed to be coddled and excuses made for them which really annoyed me. An immature and vile daughter who’s father still makes sure she gets his entire inheritance even though she has never bothered to be in his life or be a decent person to him. A sister who has lived a privileged life and feels entitled to treat those who care for her like crap. In the end, of course, it ALL works out and those two people magically make nearly overnight changes to become perfect people - … that part was a bit laughable and ridiculous.
These books hit home for me - as I have been through parts of what Mel went through plus being blind in one eye was hard getting use too, also adopted - felt like I was a part of the story at times. Tammy is a awesome author and makes you want to keep reading all the Series. This is an awesome Series and I recommend it to everyone.
A wonderful book about the opportunity to have a second chance at love. But what if someone in the family is not on board with that happiness? Find out if the marriage between Lily and Mac will happen, or will his daughter find a way to spoil their dream of a second chance at love.
book 3 has escalating family dynamics, with some surprising turns. Very good.
Lily and Mac’s relationship grows. Mel continues to mature and accept nurturing attention. Wendy surprises Lily. Missy misjudges Lily and is brought up short, with reality getting her attention. Women friendships are vital, and fun! I recommend the Glass Cottage series.
I can always count on a book from Tammy Grace to be a fulfilling read. This series does not fail. Full of angst that is so true to life, and good friends who give encouragement, space, and sincere love in spite of circumstances. The dogs are amazing too. I hope there will be a sequel to this series. I'd love to what all happens over the next few years.
This series tugged at my heart. My younger sister was like Wendy only she was never rich. She was the bay of the family and I could do nothing right in her eyes. I hope someday I will be able to have a good relationship with her. I I loved how two people who loss in the lives could have a second chance.
I love reading Tammy L Grace books . Her books have delightful characters and their furry friends steal the show. I enjoyed the visit And interaction with the characters from the Hometown Harbor series. Her character are so realistic the seem like family friends. I definitely recommend this book as well as this series.
I loved the cover with the 3 dogs and their bowties on. This series had a lot of ups and downs in the story so I found myself with the tissues but when it eneded I didn't want it to. Tammy hit a grand slam with this series!
I loved this series. The characters became familiar and blended well with the stories. Tammy Grace is a very talented author. I will look forward to more of her books.
I loved this series and sad to see it end . I will miss the characters that I come to know, their lives and their K-9 friends. All the books brought so much joy to my day's. Thank you for suck wonderful contemporary romance books.
I hate to see this series end. As all her books, I fell in love with the characters. Tammy's description of Glass Beach makes me want to go there. This book could definitely be a Hallmark Movie.
Not many stories bring to life the Pacific NW along with the beautiful therapeutic ability of our furbabies. I loved reading this series, it brought a smile to my lips and a twinkle to my eye
I loved everything about Glass Beach Cottage. I cried and I laughed. Once I started reading them I didn't want to put it down. Also this was the first books I'd ever read of Tammy L. Grace, but it won't be the last!
