After training with the monks of the Dying Sun monastery, I’ve learned more about Augmenting than ever before. But I still have more to learn, including how to Unleash my Immense Blades.
To do so, I’ll have to explore the ashes of the past of one of my lovers. Faryn’s home. The ancient elven guild that was destroyed by cultists.
There, I’ll search for what I need to Unleash the dragons from my weapons.
But there’s more to be found in the ashes of Faryn’s former guild. Revelations that could mean an end to my quest or help me reach its fulfilment.
The ending of this book was a tad bit confusing… I think the story is being rushed and quite simply put I wish the series would go a couple more books to give Ethan time to grow more and experience his blades and skills more. I mean swordslingers have centuries under their belts and he’s doing so much in less than a year… it’s kind of ridiculous to be honest. I’m just going with the flow I guess but I think the story is being rushed. It’s the reason for the lower score this time around. Also again we’re introduced now to 3 new blades, 3 unleaded blades and Tai… that’s a bunch of new women that has come into Ethan’s life. I also don’t understand a thing that just happened to Tolin… oh well. Let’s roll. Onward lads
This was a long wait but it was well worth it ,this is the best book yet in the series and it was a wild ride. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and more from the author 😀
It was a long time between books in this series but it was definitely worth the wait!!! I for one really hope we don't have to wait so long this time!!!!!
